"I hereby announce the verdict of Ms. Berger Ms. Thornton as not guilty."

After hearing those words come out of the judge's mouth, I felt a feeling of relief travel through my body. All the stress had left.

"See! I knew you weren't guilty, Miss!" Lekkey gave me a congratulations hug after the court was adjourned.

"Thanks, Lekkey. I couldn't have done it without you guys. You guys really helped me out a whole lot." I thanked them.

"It was no problem." Mr. Bianchi sighed. "I was wondering something, Ms. Berger."

"What is it, Mr. Bianchi?"

"Would you like to work with Lekkey and me as a intern until you find you find out who killed your brother?"

I couldn't have been more happy. Hearing those words brought excitement for me. "Of course. I would love to." I answered with a smile.

I couldn't help but feel happy about not only proving my own innocence, but that of Ms. Thornton. I even felt a surge of excitement finding out who the murderer was. If I could be a detective, I would be grateful.

"Ms. Berger." Someone coughed from behind me.

I turned around and saw that it was Mr. Dyer. "Ah, Prosecutor Dyer."

He then cleared his throat again. "Ms. Berger, I wanted to apologize for not trusting you."

"Ahaha..." It's true that I was angry at him at the time. I was annoyed that he didn't believe me.

"However, as a prosecutor, I need to see what is right. If what I think is right, I will stay on theat path. That rumor about me forging evidence is a lie."

Oh, so he did overhear Mr. Wilson and me talking.

"Anyway, I shall head off now. Until we meet again, Ms. Berger, Mr. Bianchi." Mr. Dyer nodded his head and walked off.

"He is a good guy. He just picks the wrong battles." Mr. Bianchi shook his head.

"Will w e see him again, I wonder?"

"Most likely. He is a prosecutor after all." Mr. Bianchi answered. "Anyway, we shall get going now, Ms. Berger."

"Oh yes. Where are we going?" I asked.

"Where fate will lead us." Lekkey answered.

"You learned well, Lekkey. Off we go." Mr. Bianchi smiled.

Wherever we are headed, I hope I will find out my main goal. Just wait, Levi, I will find out your murderer.
