1 Tech System

The 105th year of the Holy Calendar.

May City, Kingdom of Nila.

A typical Isekai city with a city wall protecting it.

Outside the city, you may witness many carts being stopped by soldiers with a spear or a sword in the middle of the day.

Many individuals may be seen walking on the side of the street while carriages move in the midst of the city.

Some troops are on patrol, ensuring the civilians' safety.

Aside from that, many people are armored while not being soldiers.

This group of people are known as adventurers.

If you post a job on the guild's receptionist, they will sometimes accept it.

The guild is located in the city's northern outskirts, close to the heart of the entertainment sector.

The guild was created near here because adventurers had more males, and the monarch believed it would be better if they could merely drink and have some entertainment after their labor.

However, beyond the entertainment area are the local businesses where people shop for various products.

An open shop may be seen near the protective wall.

The owner sat on a bench inside the business, cooling himself with a fan.

In anticipation, he stuck his head out...

Sure, this location was busy because he was near the entertainment section, but the businesses on the outskirts of town were deserted.

Furthermore, this particular site was even worse than the others.

However, Alex Hambell's deceased father left him only this bequest after he came in this world.

This used to be a shop where you could buy random items like healing potions and basic weapons.

Aside from the items that no one wanted, Alex Hambell had sold everything that was previously in stock and sent half of his earnings to his elder sister in the academy, who is currently in her final year of studies.

Alex Hambell originally intended to sell this store, but he subsequently changed his mind because...

He looked up at the sign outside his shop and saw <Tech Haven>

To make sense of this, we must go back to the day before yesterday.

The morning before yesterday.

"A new day has come…"

Alex Hambell yawned as he got out of bed.

He believed he heard a strange sound coming from nowhere.

"Am I having hallucinations?"

Surprised, he exclaimed.

"The system has been established to the Host."

An unexpected voice interrupted his thoughts.

"System?"

He couldn't contain his joy as he comprehended what he had heard.

"Yes!"

Alex Hambell, ecstatic, waved his fists in the air.

He will finally be able to cheat in life with his new system!

He had no idea what his new system was for.

Many ideas occur to him, including a face slapping system, a leveling system, a fighting system, and many others.

He was immediately enthralled by the prospect of being able to beat up anyone he didn't like.

If that were the case, men of outstanding ability would bend down before him, and all women would swoon over him.

What an adventure!

At that point, he heard another voice in his head say, "The Tech system is at your service."

"What on earth is going on?"

Alex Hambell felt the air around him freeze as he stood there stunned for a time.

He is perplexed as to why he did not receive any overpowering system such as a potion system or weapon system as in the webnovels he read, but he believes that he should be grateful because in his new existence he received a—

"This system is f*cking broken!"

He couldn't help but express himself.

"Please do not curse at the system," the woman's voice said again in his brain.

"Since this is the host's first-time offense, you will only be issued a warning this time around. If you curse at the system again, you will be punished."

"…"

Alex Hambell was speechless, yet he was concerned about the system's penalty.

As a result, he was forced to ask, "Tell me what you can do first."

"The system has just issued you your first quest. Host, you may check your task interface."

"What is the Task Interface?"

Alex Hambell's thoughts wandered to the task interface, and, as expected, he spotted his first quest in the taskbar.

[New Host task: Sell ten smartphones in one week.]

[Reward for task: Recording App]

[Penalty: If the task is left unfinished, the system will try to find another host.]

That is the essence of everything.

Alex Hambell chose not to abandon the system, and as a result, he is now the proprietor of the first tech shop in the other world.

Even though he has no understanding how marketing sales work because he was just an ordinary highschool student before arriving in this world, he has a concept how to work in a shop because of what he saw on the internet, so he assumed he would be fine.

He spent the previous day cleaning up his tech shop and organizing the unusually large number of smartphones he received from his tech system.

The top of the glass case will feature 20 cellphones, while the bottom will feature unboxed smartphones.

Unfortunately, he has been unable to sell these items because no one visits his shop.

There was one before, but the purchaser left quickly due to the price.

50 mana stone.

That is the cost of his smartphone.

Don't presume that this is his decision because the system requires it.

In today's money, 50 mana stones are equivalent to 500 gold coins.

With this money, you could live for a year without working.

Worse, the system assigned him another task: it needed to be sold within a week.

Alex Hambell was rendered speechless by the system's nearly impossible mission.

Although the system only provided the finest of the best, the difficulty at the time was that no one wanted to give it a shot because of the cost.

Alex Hambell came into his shop through the large glass doors.

"What if I try to use it?" he muttered to himself as he sat in front of his glass case full of displayed smartphones.

As Alex Hambell paused, a black-haired woman in a brown long coat and a hat, perhaps 24 or 25 years old, pushed open the door and barged inside the tech shop, as if she needed to accomplish something.

Her inner clothes were custom-made, yet they were still as snug as they could be, revealing her curves.

The button in front of her chest appeared to be about to burst apart due to its healthy fat.

The beauty's gaze was drawn to Alex Hambell as soon as she walked in. "Alex, why are you still not in the academy? Oh, and why didn't you tell me that you're running my brother's shop? I said to you that you don't need to think about the money, as your aunt, both you and your sister are now my responsibility."

Alex Hambell recognized this lovely lady; she was Erica Hambell, his father's younger sister.

The original owner of Alex Hambell's body had few relations, but this lovely lady was one of them.
