Maddy

I was slipping my diamond studs in my ears when I heard the faint sound of a knock. Jett was here. I attached the back to the last earring and took a deep breath while shaking out my arms. I looked at myself in the mirror. The Marilyn Monroe inspired dress that Cleo had told me would look amazing, did just that but I wasn’t sure that it wasn’t too much.

/"Maddy, Jett is here,/" I heard Kierra say through my door.

/"Okay,/" I called out. Too late to change now.

I smoothed my hand over my hair that was pulled back into a bun. Cleo had braided the hair that wrapped around it. It helped show off the way the dress wrapped around my neck like a choker. I swayed from side to side, watching to make sure that when I moved, my panties didn’t show. I was good.
