I looked at him with wide eyes, /"your dad is a mayor?/" He nodded. /"Where?/" He pointed to the floor. /"Here? New York?/" He nodded and I smiled. /"That must be nice./" I didn’t know what else to say.

/"I mean it is what it is./" I smiled at him with a sad smile. He didn’t look that happy about his life. /"Sorry,/" he shook his head. /"This is the best conversation to have when trying to impress someone./"

/"Why are you trying to impress me?/" I smile as I drink the last of my beer.

/"Of course, I am,/" he smiles. I open the other beer and take a big drink. I’m not sure why my nerves are crazy because I know for sure that he is trying to impress me. /"I probably should try harder huh?/" I laughed. /"Okay,/" he put his beer down and turned to face me. /"Let’s play a game./"

/"What kind of game?/"

/"Twenty questions?/" I laughed. It had been years since I played that, but I agreed.
