A week later, I was working in my office when my phone rang. I looked and saw it was Colt video calling me. I furrowed my brow because he usually only calls before and after practice never in the middle of the day. I grabbed my phone anyway and hit the green button on the screen. /"Maddy!/" I yelled for her, /"Daddy’s calling!/" I heard her feet hit the floor of her room as Colt popped up on the screen, and rolled my eyes.

/"What is that face for?/" I heard his deep voice ask with a chuckle. I sighed and shook my head.

/"Your daughter won't stop jumping on her bed today./"

/"I will talk to her. How is your day going?/" I took a deep breath.

/"This site... well the client really, is giving me trouble. As soon as I have all of his request met, he changes them,/" I ran my hand through my hair. I had more than once this week wanted to rip it all out.
