I woke up on Sunday with a smile on my face. I couldn’t stop thinking about how it felt to have Callie in my house, in my bed, in my arms for the whole weekend. I had spent 4 years without her being a part of my life in any way that I was relishing in the feeling that everything felt exactly the same but so much better at the same time.

Before I can even think to wake up the beautiful women beside me, the bedroom door swings open and in bounces our just as beautiful daughter. /"Morning, Giggles,/" I say when I notice she is headed for her mom in order to redirect her to me.

/"Daddy, I’m hungry,/" she sleepily rubs her eyes with her fists.
