Chapter 16: Body Change

Jin's POV

Minutes after, my master came out of the bathroom with clothes already on. I got up from my seat and left the room with him.

We walked and walked until we came out of the castle. Then at the front of the door is a carriage run by two horses and a coach. We entered the carriage.

"To the Lightius Church." Master said to the coach.

"Right away, sir Hero." The coach said.

The carriage started to move. Silence covered the insides of the carriage. I have nothing to do so I just watched the scenery from the window.

After a half-hour of rising the carriage, we are already in front of the Lightius Church. We got down from the carriage and entered the church.

"Hello Nagisaki-sama, what can I do for you." A nun in mid 20's with brown eyes, greeted and walked towards us.

"Oh, Sister Kiana, I want to check this little guy's status and please heal him too." Master said to the nun

The nun looked at me with the eyes of shock and then change to longing and then back to normal. She squatted in front of me and patted my head. "Hello little guy, what's your name?" She asked.

"Jin..." I answered

"Since Jin is a behave boy, I will give you this candy." She said and gave me a candy from her pocket.

"Thank...you...Sister...Kiana"

She stood up and gestured us to follow her. "Let's go to the church's clinic first so that we can heal Jin's wounds."

"Thank you Sister Kiana." Master thanked her.

"It's nothing, Nagisaki-sama. Follow me please." Sister Kiana said.

We followed Sister Kiana until we reached a big white door with a sign ⟨Clinic⟩ on top of it. We entered it and I saw people wearing a white coat running here and there to check patients.

"Come here Jin!" I heard Sister Kiana's voice and saw that she was already in front of a certain door with my Master.

"Coming!..." I run towards them and then we entered the room.

The room is just small that only fits 5 people in it with the bed table and chairs in. There is a woman in white clothes and a glasses sat in the back of the table.

"Sister Kiana, what can I do for you?" The woman asked.

"Dr. Halsien, this little guy here needs your healing." Sister Kiana said and she pushed me to the doctor.

The doctor stood up from her seat and walked towards the bed. "Sit here little guy." The doctor told me to lie down in the bed.

I looked at my master and he looked at me too and nodded. "Go on." He said

I did what the doctor told me and I lay down in the bed. The doctor looked at me from my head to toe. "Ok, let's start." She said and then she put her hands above my body. Her hands started to glow in color gold.

"Oh god of light, Lightius, please hear my prayer and recover this mortals health. [God's Light]!" The doctor chanted.

Suddenly the glow in her hands started to glow brighter and brighter, the light transferred to me and covered me in its golden light.

It felt really warm just by being covered in this light, it felt like a person was hugging me. I felt longing about this feeling. Its like a warm embrace of that person...

"Mother..."

I unknowingly fell asleep after that, so when I woke up it's already noon.

Suddenly, I heard a voice besides me, "Awake now?"

I looked at where that voice came from and saw master. "Yes brother..." I answered.

Then I froze... "Whose voice is that?" I asked.

"Pfft- HAHAHA...It's yours silly" Master laughingly said.

"M-mine?"

Master patted me in my head. "Yes, its yours. See your voice didn't sound like a coarse voice of a kid and you don't stutter anymore, now it sounds like a normal man's voice, but that's not the only thing that change, look at the mirror." He said and pointed at the corner of the room where the mirror stands.

I stood up from the bed and went to the human size mirror. There I saw a 19 or 20 year old man with a soft long dark green hair, a shiny emerald like green eyes, smooth and clean face, wearing a white gown for patients.

"Th-this is me?"

"Yes that's your real body." A woman said.

I turned around to see Dr. Halsien standing beside the door. "Because of the injuries, being malnourished and mana depletion, your body didn't grow as a normal person would. Thanks to the spell [God's Light] your mana was now recovered same with your injuries and appetite. So eat lots of healthy foods from now on, ok?" She said and patted my shoulder.

"Un, thank you doctor." I said to thank her.

"It's a good thing your scales are on your waist or else you will be discriminated by the people here. You know, this is a human supremacist country so be careful, don't let the other humans especially the nobles about your identity, ok?" Dr. Halsien warned.

"Yes, By the way, what happened to my clothes?" I suddenly asked.

"They were ripped after you recovered because your body suddenly grew this big." Master answered.

"Ah, is that so?"

"Yep! You can even ask your doctor here." Master said and then he pointed at Dr. Halsien.

"HAHAHA!!! Don't worry we didn't see anything, because of the racial physics of the snake clan your d*ck will not be seen, unless you want us to see it~." She said while moving her eyebrows up and down with a teasing look.

I suddenly felt embarrassed and my face suddenly heat up too. "N-no way! I w-will not do that!" I said quickly.

"Pfft- HAHAHAHA!!!" Master and Dr. Halsien suddenly laughed.

"Why are you so flustered, HAHAHA!" Master said.

"Look, look, he's all red, HAHAHAHA!!!" Dr. Halsien pointed at me and laughed too.

Then suddenly Sister Kiana entered the room with a food tray. "Ok, ok, stop now or else he will faint because of embarrassment. Here have your lunch" She said and gave me the food tray.

"Thank you Sister Kiana." I said and looked at my master who was still silently laughing with Dr. Halsien.

I think Sister Kiana got what I am thinking so she answered, "It's ok, now go eat. Your brother Hiro already ate so don't worry about him."

I looked at Sister Kiana and thanked her. "Thank you again Sister Kiana."

I looked at the food on the food tray, there is a glass of water, soup, meat, vegetables and an apple in it. Then I started to eat.

"After eating, rest a little before you go to the «appraisal pillar» so that the food that you ate will be digested first." Dr. Halsien said.

"Yes." I answered.

"Ok I'm going to take my leave first, bye!"

"Goodbye doctor."

"I'll go and take my leave now too, Jin and Nagisaki-sama."

"Goodbye too Sister Kiana." I said and waved.

"Goodbye." Master said.
