5 The goblin village.

It's the seventh day and we are still roaming around like idiots. The sun has just started rising.

A human, a dragon and a slime resting on the shoulder of the dragon could be seen walking lazily through the forest.

"Nay, Shiro-kun?" Veldora called me.

"Hmm...?" I replied.

"Why are we walking again? Can't we just fly over the forest?"

" I don't want people seeing a huge ass dragon flying in the sky and that hero coming after you again...Well not until I can control my power's properly. Annnd we also don't have any kind of ability that can make us invisible or something."

"So....where are we going?" Rimuru asked.

"I can sense something at around ten kilometers ahead from here. We will probably find some clue there." I replied.

It's been probably two hours and we reached too deep into the forest. I could sense a group of monster approaching.

Before our eyes, a group of 30 human like monsters stumbled before us.

Green bodies, tattered leather clothes, just to cover their lower half, covered in a thin layer of dirt and their expression clearly lacked intelligence.

There were also dew carrying sword, spears, stone axes, and bows.

Yup, the classic creatures you would find in every isekai anime...THE GOBLINS!!!

They pointed their weapon towards us and they were....shaking..

Hmm...why are they scared??

For a few seconds we just stared at each other..

"So...there are thirty of them each of us takes on ten of them, what do you say?" I asked Veldora and Rimuru while still looking at the goblins.

"Kuhahahaha!! I can take out all of them myself!" Veldora replied.

"uh...but they are not doing anything right?" Rimuru asked.

While we were discussing the things, one of them moved forward, probably the leader, kneeled down in front of Veldora and spoke..

<Guga. We greet the great protector of forest and our God, Lord Veldora!!!>

The rest of the goblins throwed their weapons away and kneeled,

'Huh? Did the goblin just talk?' And what's with this protector of forest shit?

I looked toward Veldora for answers and he had a big smug grin on his face. His eyes were literally screaming 'Look at me! See how great I am!!'.

This moron!!

"Why are you blocking my way?!" Veldora questioned the goblin leader in a loud voice, likely displaying his authority.

<Guga. Please forgive us my lord, on this path lies our village, we came as a precaution because sensed two strong presence.> The leader answered.

Two strong presence? I moved my headband a little and looked at Rimuru and Veldora. I saw a transparent around around veldora and blue aura around rimuru, literally screaming 'I'm Strong'. So this was why we didn't see any monsters on our way. I checked myself, but there was no such thing.

'Infinity huh...looks like I was using it subconsciously.'

"Oi, control your auras, you are scaring them." I pointed toward the goblins who were literally quivering on the ground.

"Kuhahaha!, Sorry sorry, I didn't notice." Veldora said with his usual laugh.

"Hmm...how do I do it?" Rimuru asked

"Use mana too create a thin layer of barrier around you. That should do the trick."

After talking with the goblins for a while, they invited us to their village so we decided to stay for few days. After Rimuru absorbed Veldora his presence disappeared which led to chaos in the forest. The order which has been maintained in the forest for three hundred years due to his fear was destroyed and presence of strong monsters, adventurers started increasing.

The monsters from outside the land invaded the forest. The goblin villages protector, a named monster and the chief's brother disappeared. The fang wolves started attacking and other villages didn't support this one. As this was on the outskirt of the forest, it was mostly destroyed.

So they invited us to their village so that they can ask for our help. And as generous as we are we decided to help them.....fuck no...it's been seven days!!, seven bloody days and all we did was roam in the jungle like nomads. As we were bored, I thought why not? I asked Veldora and Rimuru, none of them had any problem so yeah...we went along with the goblins.

After a while we reached their village...at least that's what they say. The roofs made up of piled plywood, roof made of straws and most of it looked dirty and tattered.

'Well, As expected of goblins should I say?'

"Yeah this ain't a village, even the slums were better than this in our past world. Leave the wolfs for later, we need to fix this village first." Rimuru spoke.

"Hmm...that's easy." I replied.

"Evacuate the village with all your belongings. We need to build new houses. I ain't living here." I said to the village chief.

"Guga. As you say Shiro-sama." He bowed and went to evacuate the village.

Half an hour later all the goblins were out of the village.

'Only hundred of them...that's too low'. I thought.

"Nay, veldora-kun, create a barrier to protect these goblins alright. It will be a drag if the fire gets out of control".

"What fire are you talking about?"

"You will find out, first do what I said."

Veldora nodded and created a dome shaped transparent barrier covering the goblins including himself.

'Oh well this should stop the flames even if for a second if it somehow goes out of control. It wasn't this powerful in anime' *sigh*

I lifted my headband and uncovered my left eye, right eye still covered.

'Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan'.

The world around me seemed to slowed down. If someone were to see my eye right now, they would see the silver color of my eye starting to disappear, a black dot appeared in the center followed by three tomoe's surrounding it.

'Hinokagutsuchi'

Black fire started to spread ahead of me and burnt the whole village in a minute.

'Hmm...looks like my control improved a bit. This is good...'

I created twenty shadow clones and performed the hand signs.

'Snake → Rat → Ox → Ram → Snake'

'Wood Release: Four-Pillar House Technique'

Twenty wooden house emerged from the ground simultaneously in the place of previous houses. After that I created a large ten feet tall and two feet wide wall surrounding the village with a entrance in the front.

(A/N: This is a technique used by yamato ok, not my bullshit.

'Damn I'm proud of myself.'

I turned around to see the shocked faces of all the goblins and Veldora. It would have been better if there were cute gitls instead of some old goblins *ahem* ...nevermind.

<Thank you for building the houses, your grace.> All of the goblins were basically prostrating in front of me.

"Oi oi I don't want to be king of some goblins. Veldora will do that, isn't he your god?, Lord Veldora, the god of goblins. HAHAHAHAHA"

Veldora's face twitched hearing this. He glared at me be but I just ignored him.

"So...how many of you can fight?" I asked the goblin leader.

'So basically, you are useless.'

The goblins started moving onto their respective houses and the three of us were planning what to do next.

"So who's going to stop the wolves?" Rimuru asked.

"Mu...Of course it will be me. I'm the strongest after all. Kuhahahaha!!"

Just why does he have to laugh after every sentence....

"Nay, Veldora-kun, I'll protect the village from outside, if those wolves get past me then you will get to fight the strong ones, what do you say?, you're strong right so you should only fight the strong ones." I asked veldora.

A frown appeared on his face and he stared thinking deeply.

"Umu...you're right. Send those strong ones to me MUHAHAHAHA!"

'Yep he is an idiot.'

In the midnight....

The moon was high in the sky. The sky was clear and stars could be seen twinkling in the distance. A soft wind was blowing and the leaves were moving along, following it's rhythm. It was a beautiful night...

A young boy around fourteen or fifteen was resting on the wall. His white hair was fluttering due to wind. His eyes were covered by a headband and the light blue shirt along with the black pant gave him elegant yet carefree vibe.

In the distance a wolf was seen, then following it came tens and hundreds of wolf.

"AWOOOOOOOOO!"

The leader cried. Then as if responding to him came the cries of other wolves.

"AWOOOOOOOOOOO!!"

"AWOOOOOOOOOO!!!!"

Seeing this, I couldn't help but smirk. My heartbeat started to quicken and I am feeling....excited.

I removed my headband and floated slightly above the wall. The silver color of my eyes faded away and started glowing red and purple.

"Now should I kill you or should I spare you?" I muttered softly...
