4 Learning to Control Powers

After half an hour we resumed our journey. I explained to rimuru about most of my powers...but not all of it. I'm not that naïve to trust a person completely...and having a few trump cards wouldn't hurt right? If he had a face his reaction would have been a sight. I chuckled.

We reached a giant gate, in front of a cave...a dungeon? I thought.

<Should we go inside?> Rimuru asked.

"Hmm...I still cannot control my powers, or should I say mana output, so I'll head out to train. You should go and explore the dungeon, it will help you. After you finish let's meet here." I said as I marked him with 'jutsu-shiki', the mark used for flying thunder-god technique.

(A/N: I think most of you know about this, for those who don't know it's a technique used to teleport yourself to your marked target. Check the wiki for further description....I'm too lazy, yaaawn~~ )

Rimuru moved toward the dungeon entrance. After he entered I entered my personal space....a separate dimension having time ratio ten hours inside to one hour outside, which only I can access. I think I can increase or decrease this ratio to how I want in the future but for now I'll have to manage with this.

The space around me changed and I appeared in a jungle.

I focused on my eye, the silver color of my eye started disappearing and red hue appeared, a dot appeared in the middle and three tomoe's appeared around it.

'Hinokagutsuchi'

Black flames started forming around me and spread around rapidly. In less than a minute, all the trees were burnt and the ground around me became charred in black. I hastily stopped the flame but it was already too late. A empty space of radius around five meters from me was created.

'Well looks like the training ground is prepared...'I chuckled nervously. Maybe I should have asked for perfect control of powers also in my dream...*sigh*

I created ten clones using wood release technique and sent them in different directions to practice different techniques, I will just absorb their memories and experience.

'Well that takes care of half of my problems.'

I created a wooden katana and coated it with armament haki and started practicing sword techniques and movement techniques alongside. In my past life I was a big fan of swords, especially katanas. Though it was useless in my past world....it would be foolish to take a sword to a gunfight...but I had mastered the sword.

After a hour....

Large explosions were happening in the forest. Clouds of dust and smokes were rising, a huge ass purple skeleton like structure was swinging a sword destroying the surrounding. A swirling mass of dark energy was enveloping a wide range of area. In another direction a giant castle appeared in the sky floating over a red magic circle.

'Oh shit..' I gulped. Looks like one of the clone managed to summon Venuzdonoa.

'What are these idiots doing??! first master the small techniques like fireball or something? Who the hell summons a fucking sword that can distort the bloody reality!!....Oh...it's me...nevermind.'

Well if he manages to control Venuzdonoa then I can break the seal of veldora, so it's all good. 

Ten hours later....

Destroyed...Annihilated...Literally around twenty kilometers of space, which was previously covered by trees and green grass was now a field devoid of any life, filled with burn marks, deep crater's of four to five meters and grounds and cracks on the ground.

It was slowly starting to repair itself, Looks like I don't have to worry about destroying the dimension.

I dismissed the clones and the absorbed the information. 

'Hmm...this much is enough for now'. 

I took out a headband to cover my eyes.

'Now I know how Gojo saw even after covering his eyes haha'

I created another ten clones, left them to train. The space around me changed and I reappeared in front of the cave.

I stayed in the shadow of a tree nearby to take a nap.

Half an hour later I saw Rimuru coming out of the cave's gate.

"How was the dungeon?" I asked.

"It was pretty hard. There were large centipedes, spiders and bats like creatures, and I can gain their abilities absorbing them." 

"You can talk now?!!" 

"Yeah, I got [ultrasonic wave] skill from the bats, I can speak using it."

"That's some cool power you've got."

"Says the person who is living every chuunibyou's dream."

I flashed a small smile.

"Take out that tsundere veldora, I think I might be able to break the seal." I said.

"What!! really??" He was shooked. 

"Dude, don't shout!!"

"What do you mean don't shout? If you can break the seal, doesn't that mean you are as strong as the hero who sealed Veldora? How did you get so strong in one hour?" If he had a face his expression would have been worth seeing.

" You remember naruto's shadow clone ability and how he used it to train? I simply used that. And the time difference between here and the dimesion. To be honest, I'm already more stronger than the hero." I grinned.

"Tch. Lucky bastard."

"Oi oi don't curse me and take him out already...We need to move and I need to find a cave or something to sleep. I'm feeling lazy after jumping around for ten hours."

He nodded and a large dragon gleaming like a black steel, and scales like of a fish appeared.

(A/N: Don't ask me why he has scales like fish...it was written in original novel...)

He opened his eyes and looked around.

(hmm...why did you take me out?) He asked in a lazy voice. Was he sleeping? Nevermind.

"I think I might be able to break your seal. Although it might be a bit dangerous but I'm 80% sure that I can do it." I replied.

(Really? Go ahead and try then. I trust you.) 

Oi! Shouldn't you be a bit excited or something? and for a tsundere you sure don't hesitate to say 'I trust you' huh....

"Are you sure?" I asked again.

(yes, we are a family right? so I'll trust you in this and being sealed for three hundred years is boring you know? HAHAHAHAHA!!)

What's with him and his laugh? Anyway Dom would be proud of you dude...

I summoned Venuzdonoa, the demon castle Delsgade appeared in the sky casting a large black shadow covering the sun and countless black runes appeared on the three dimensional magic circle. Innumerable black particles of light gathered to form a shadow of a sword with no object projecting its shape. I held out my hand, the shadow slowly rised from the ground. I grasp the hilt, the shadow inverted and revealed a dark longsword. 

"W-What is that?" Rimuru Yelled.

(T-The mana output is too much!!)

"The demon sword Venuzdonoa, also known as the Abolisher of Reason. This sword than can destroy anything...if this doesn't destroy the seal then I don't know what will...brace yourself for the impact Veldora-kun!!" I shouted.

'Ughh...amount of mana this sword is sucking is insane...even though I have near infinite mana reserve...the constant emptying and replenishing of the mana feels like it's destroying my body...

(W-w-wait!! hold on!!)

I took the sword and stabbed in the seal. It resisted for a few second, red streaks of lightning flew here and there then broke like a glass being shattered. I stabbed the sword on the ground and it disappeared along with the castle leaving a shadow at my feet.

I fell on the ground on my ass.

'I still cannot properly use that sword, and I don't think it's meant to be casually....I'll leave that for future *sigh*'

Suddenly without warning, Veldora stood up from the ground and stretched his body, spread his wings, his eyes snapped open and then..

*ROOOARR"

He let out a loud roar, it reverberated through the trees causing the ground to tremble and the leaves to quiver in fear. Birds scattered from their perches, their startled cries piercing the air, while small animals scurried for cover, seeking refuge.

I felt like I became deaf for a few second. I looked towards Rimuru and looks like he became a puddle of water from slime..

'This son of a bit.."

"Oi Motherfucker!! don't scream, you're hurting my ears, and I don't want that hero behind my ass because of you!!" I yelled.

"Kuhahahaha! My bad! I got a little excited!" A hoarse voice reverbed through the forest.

Looks like he can use his voice again. His body is hungrily sucking the mana from the surrounding, maybe because he couldn't absorb any inside the seal.

"Whatever idiot!! Just turn into human form or something! You'll attract attention of whole forest with that size"

"Hmm...alright"

A white light flashed and the large dragon form disappeared, replace by a two meters tall, handsome, blonde, albeit slightly intimidating, young man...all in his naked glory.

"Yo! Shiro!, Rimuru!" He greeted waiving his hand.

This idiot doesn't realize that he's naked, does he? Or maybe he just doesn't care...My eyebrow twitched seeing this, I took out a set of light blue shirt and grey pant from my inventory and throwed at his face.

"Cover yourself first you moron! No one here wants to see you naked!"

[??? POV]

In a dark place, a pair of yellow eyes with dark slits snapped open. 

"Hmm....It looks like the seal was broken...but why does his presence seems so weak..."

"It's not the time yet...."

The eyes closed and the darkness filled the place again.
