Chapter 2: I Don’t Do Mondays

It's not like I'm one of those people who puts cat memes and old vine posters all over my room so that every time they look at it they smile. You know what I'm talking about-those people. My morning should've started off as any morning should. My same breakfast, my same music, my same shower, all that Jazz. But it didn't. When I woke up I was late. Like really late. I didn't know my alarm clock would decide to run out of batteries! God, why do Mondays always ruin your chances of having an actually ok day? I run downstairs in my empty home and put toast in the toaster but before I pull down the lever the time sinks in and I realize there is no way I'm going to make it on time to work with home made breakfast. I go back upstairs to change into one of my many glorious outfits. I never wanted to show my age through what I wear. I like to shop at all those casual teen-stuffed stores. I feel like if I wear grandma clothes, everyone will treat me like one. I'm probably the youngest girl at the firm. I'm 29 and I like to dress like it. After running out of the house I realize I forgot my car keys and I had to rush back to get it. I really hate Monday's.
