Last night falling asleep

It was nothing else, but his name. The little boy was curious about his name. He wanted to know the meaning of his name and it's purpose.

It all started, the day when teacher asked all the students the meaning of their names and told them that the meaning of their names hold strong power. They can determine a person's personality.

At that time, most of the children knew the meaning of their names. And the boy was amongst those few, who didn't knew. He got curious, he wanted to ask his parents but he couldn't because sometimes he's parents would have been busy and other times he'd forget to ask them.

" Bhai….", Vania was about to ask something but she gets interrupted by her brother.

" Vania..", Khalid says trying to remind his sister to remain silent.

" Just this one question. Please Bhai.", Vania makes a request.

" *sigh*, ok! What is it ?", he asks with a sleepy tone.

" what was the little boy's name?", Vania asks looking at her brother.

Khalid hugs Vania tighter and says " I don… yawn… don't know Vania. I haven't thought of a name yet."

" But why Bhai ?", she asks in disappointment.

" because, I don't want to. I'm feeling tired a d I want to sleep.", Khalid replies.

" Bhai, you're doing the same today too. You're not gonna tell me the complete story. Are you?", she asks showing agression.

" I'm sorry.", he says falling asleep.

"Bhai…", she was about to say something but she stops, when she sees her brother sleeping.

" Goodnight", Vania whispers in Khalid 's ears.

After a while, Khalid wakes up. He gets up, rubbing his eyes. He sees his sister sleeping. Khalid quietly gets out of the bed, he walks away. He was near the door but he comes back.

He removes hairs from his sister's forehead and places a kiss. He gently whispers " goodnight FluffyFluffy", and leaves his room

Khalid enters his room and falls on the bed. Khalid wasn't tired. Well he was tired, but not in the way he was during his exams. Khalid falls asleep carefree. He falls asleep as if tomorrow would be no different from today.

Khalid doesn't know that tonight might be his last night. Tonight might be the last time he falls asleep. Tonight might be his last peaceful sleep. his last night sleeping.
