A true friend

" I wish you had found my body instead and taken a shelter inside. Then instead of being apart by a mirror, we would have been closer. More closer than two bodies could be. We would have had our souls in one body. I'd talk and you'd be able to freely reply to me. We'd talk all night. And take turns being the main personality." Khalid gets up saying

" it would've been amazing but what's the point of saying all of this. After all this is the real world. Such things are impossible.", He says trying to remind himself of the reality.

Khalid is clearly fine, just because he had no true friends. He made himself his best friend. He talks to himself considering his reflection in the mirror as a second person. indeed, a true best friend.

Then Khalid opens his closet, his hands reach for something below his clothes. Something touches his hand, he pulls it out. It's a box. He opens the box and picks a screwdriver from the box. He puts the box back and walk towards his study table.

He sits at his study table, with a screwdriver in his hands. He removes the cloth from the front half of his study table.

Khalid starts opening two of the screws one by one. He pulls up his desk and it's like box from inside. Like a secret drawer. He places the screws and screwdriver inside the secret drawer, closes it, puts the cloth back on the table and places his diary on the table.

His room's door is closed. Lights are turned off. The study table's lamp is on and the fan is spinning quickly.

Khalid stares at his diary. He takes a deep breath and holds his pen from the pencil case. He turns pages of the diary, until he reaches an empty page.

Water starts filling up in his eyes. He's thinking. Thinking about about a lot of stuff. He's probably thinking about his day.

He points the pen to the top of the page and starts writing.
