Storm Brawl

Arthur has his gaze piercing into the sky as he stares at the oncoming tempest that rapidly approaches without reproach. Each movement forward shakes the earth with a call of lightning that thunders, striking the earth and sending forth dirt and gravel as it punctures the ground with ferocity.

The bolts rain down beneath the storm-filled clouds; like rain, it drenched the land in hot, consuming bolts of lightning that destroy everything that they touch. Leaving nothing unharmed in its path.

The roars of thunder that reverberate across the mountainous valleys threaten and scare all that live within these lands. The thunderous stampede of beasts can be heard in every direction as they all seek to escape from the natural disaster that rains destruction.

The crackles of electricity grow with intensity as the clouds appear closer and closer to Arthur and Lily, leaving one eager and the other deathly afraid. One shakes in excitement, and the other in fear.

"Go hide in that cave. I am gonna go stretch my body with my new sparring partner." Arthur states with a ferocious look.

"Ah, yeah, you do you. Don't mind me, I'll be cowering in fear, hoping not to die over there." Lily replies with successive quick nods as she scurries over to the cave without a second thought.

Not paying any more attention to the fox girl, Arthur leaps up from the ground, shooting towards the living storm in the sky! His spear appears in his hand as he throws it with great strength, causing the air to crack around him as it leaves his hands. The spear immediately takes off, practically breaking the sound barrier as it hurls towards the deadly clouds.

Arthur slowly falls back down to the earth as he is not capable of flight, yet he gives a crazy hopeful glance towards the clouds and his piercing spear.

He lands back on the ground, causing cracks and tremors to spread out, forming a small crater. His spear, however, flies straight through the clouds, dispersing them instantly turning the sky clear! Yet it does not last, as the clouds reform, and lightning cackles in tandem as if it was an angry response.

Arthur reaches out with his hand, and then the spear reappears in his hand like it never left, letting out a sad hum as if knowing it failed to kill its foe. "Don't fret. I like that he is tough to kill. I want this to last." Arthur says to his spear as he stares at the storm ahead.

"Skyvanus, they call you, I wonder how alive you truly are. Let's put it to the test then." Arthur leaps once more into the sky, this time heading directly for the storm, his spear positioned out front, ready to pierce its enemies.

Skyvanus gives a thunderous reply as it sends dozens of lightning bolts hurling toward the airborne Arthur while the winds howl and tornadoes form on the ground below. The scene depicts as if it is the end of the world!

Arthur thrusts out with his spear, shattering each bolt that came for him and continues onward, unscathed, as nearly a hundred more lightning bolts come from the dark clouds. Feeling that his momentum from the jump is coming to an end, he sparks an idea in his mind as the bolts quickly approach, within mere seconds, they are upon him.

He blocks and destroys most of the bolts, taking a few head-on, leaving only small burnt patches on his body as he steps on one bolt, running along it and jumping off to gain more momentum. This all happened in a single second as the bolt he ran across continued its arc into the ground, bursting the ground to pieces and rubble.

With himself still in the air, he rears back his arms, causing veins to appear on his arms as his muscles bulge. Then he releases, his arms like a spring coiling forth, as the spear thrusts forward, creating a deadly air current that shoots out like a deadly arrow.

The storm lets out a thunderous roar as it feels the human attack it once more, as the pure force assaults the clouds, dispersing them once more, turning the sky a clear blue. But it does not last, as the dark clouds reform, darker and angrier than ever.

This time, black bolts, dark as the night, shoot out from deep within the clouds, aiming for Arthur and his life. They charge forth, covering the distance instantly, as Arthur strikes out to meet them head-on.

He shatters a few, but there were too many, as they dotted out the sky like flashes of light, and even with his speed, he could not stop them all. So they hit him, sending him hurtling back to the ground, crashing. His body forms a large crater as he pulls himself out, a small stream of blood leaking from his mouth.

"Now, this is what I am fuckin talking about! This is fun! Give me more! Entertain me more!" Arthur screams out with mad fervor, this time jumping into the sky with even more force, going even faster than before. His spear leaves his hands before he even makes it into the sky, as it shoots out, breaking space itself, appearing directly into the myriad of clouds.

The battle continues back and forth as such. Clear skies, then dark skies, cycle and repeat over and over. As for Arthur, it is similar as he is knocked to the ground, jumps back up, and then tossed back down with intense force. Over and over. The battle is like a loop, neither side giving way.

The biggest loser is the terrain itself, as each time Arthur crashes into the ground, tremors spread, and craters form. Sometimes, he even crashes into various mountain peaks, detonating them and turning them into piles of rocks. Then there are the inexplicable amount of lightning bolts, as most do not hit Arthur but the terrain around him as they fight.

Sounds of this battle spread throughout the mountain range and the land beyond, causing great worries to all living beings who can feel the vibrations and hear the cries of this tumultuous battle.

Once more, Arthur stands up from within a crater formed on the peak of a certain mountain, causing an avalanche to occur. Blood drips from his face as a maniacal grin appears on his face as if he gave into madness.

His spear appears in his hands as he summons it. "Let's try that other move, partner. Want to? It is a little crazy, ain't it? Haha, yeah, we are crazy, so let's do it." Arthur says as if in conversation with his spear.

His eyes then blaze with determination and a frenzy of excitement as he tenses his body for his strongest move yet. The storm cackles as if in agreement, preparing its strongest as well.
