Slaughter the Gods

A man died in his world and then appears before a God of another. That God then goes on to say that he caused the man's death in his world and brought him here for his own enjoyment. The man, shaken with disbelief and anger, is then tossed into this new world with nothing but the clothes on his back, a basic system that can only answer questions. He vows to kill those who have wronged him, planning to take vengeance upon the God who did this to him. But is that the only tragedy that will befall, the only God that he will vow to vengeance against? What truly awaits this man in this new world fraught with dangers and the unknown? Will he let go of his anger and live his life, or will he be consumed by rage and continuously seek his vengeance? Will he successfully kill a God? Read this man's story. Also of note, Harem will not be large. And there will be gory and or dark moments in this book, so read at your own discretion. ----------------------------------------- Thank you for giving my book a try. Run!

"Aw, so delicious! That Jorgenth was the tastiest so far!" I exclaim as I smack my lips while swallowing the last little bit of the kangaroo-like monster meat.

After eating it, I could feel the improvement in my strength as my body gets tougher, my muscles more compact, and my mind a little clearer. I don't understand how these improvements work; maybe this is how people normally get stronger in this world.

Though it would be nice to meet people and have someone to actually talk to normally with. Guess I just have to settle for AGS.

"By the way, AGS, is this strength improvement from eating normal in this world?" I ask inquisitively.

{Yes, gaining strength from eating monsters is normal. Though it is unknown how much your suppose to gain. That information is not in my database.}

"Thanks." I reply.

I pack up my few belongings and start to head back out on my journey to nowhere. Spear in hand, and a simple makeshift knapsack wrapped over my shoulder onto my back to hold together some spare materials and items I have made.

With all that, my shirtless self, wearing some torn-up pants and no shoes, heads back into the forest.

A day quickly passes as I found a peaceful nap in a random tree and hunted another vicious rabbit monster. But really, the journey itself is pretty monotone and boring most of the way. Yet it can also be terrifying when I find myself about to die horribly and painfully.

I really don't know how I am going to pass these thousand years by. Like what can I do to pass the time other than training and hunting? If I stay in my mind like I am now, I will go crazy and imagine more people reading about my suffering.

But I know it is just my imagination.

I wonder what the next weird monster that I will encounter will be. I have seen all kinds of horrific beasts so far that I have started to make somewhat of a game out of it, guessing the different types of monstrosities that might exist out here.

Like, maybe there will be a cow monster that has dragon-like wings and breathes out magma from its mouth. Or maybe there is a colony of monkey-like monsters that have eight arms and two heads yet can use earth magic to ensnare their foes.

The possibilities are endless, and I am truly bored when I am not fighting for my life. Like right now, I am back to training my spearmanship, thrusting over and over again. Though I feel like I am getting stronger, I have no idea if my path is the correct one. But I have no other path in mind.

Just as I thrust once more and then wipe the sweat from my brows, suddenly, an intense shake begets the earth around me, and all the birds take for the skies from their trees.

THUMP!

THUMP!THUMP!

THUMP!THUMP!THUMP!

THUMP!THUMP!THUMP!THUMP!

Closer and closer it gets! My heart rate speeds up as my sweat trickles down my face, and the hairs on my arm stand up.

RUN!

That is the only thought I had and the only appropriate thing to do.

Whatever was coming was not something I could face. I could feel its aura bearing down, oppressing everything in its radius. This was an overlord. Something way above anything I have yet to face or see.

And so I ran! With only my spear in hand, forsaking everything else, I just ran as fast as I could.

In the opposite direction from it, I zigzagged throughout the woodland, trying to either find a place to hide from it or to escape from it. Whatever it is.

But alas, suffering has chosen to find me today.

WHOOOOOSH!

The wind around me breaks as trees and earth is uplifted and tossed like a kid in a sandbox, as the sky opens around me, showing me what it is that terrorizes the area.

A giant! No more like a Titan! A hundred-foot tall human being, his legs like mountains, his arms like hammers, and his head having a total of twelve eyes and two noses, while his mouth grins as razor-sharp teeth show themselves for the world.

He merely looks at me and then glances away, uninterested. At first, I was thankful, thinking that it couldn't care less about me and that I might not die.

But it just deemed me not worth eating, as the monster rears back its leg, literally shifting the earth around us as I stumble and fall.

ROOOOAAAAR!

The beast bellows as it kicks forward with its reared back leg. The foot comes crashing down into the earth, ripping apart everything in its path, pushing it with its foot.

Within seconds it is upon me, and I am scooped up with the rest of the earth and debris that it is taking along. And then I am in the air, along with all the earth and debris, sent flying through the sky, farther than what should be possible.

Yet somehow, I am still alive, flying through the air, blood trickling down my body as chunks of earth and debris hits me as we soar throughout the sky.

A fly for miles and miles in the air, the oxygen thin while I shiver in coldness, and then it all comes crashing down, and my mind goes blank as I die. The pain is over quickly as I turn to mush, leaving but a stain upon the ground.

Now there is my eleventh death. One with no chance of survival and against a beast I had no chance of ever even fighting against, let alone winning.

To think there is such a massive monster roaming this realm, and it is also the first humanoid monster I have seen so far. But I would rather not see it or anything like it again. For it made me fly in the air for dozens of miles, sending me god knows where.

And now I have awoken, revived once more, and I have no clue as to where I am or where to go next, as I find myself pelted by snow and in the middle of a snowstorm in some kind of tundra-based land.
