Chapter 1: The Genius Is Back!.

Hanamichi Sakuragi, The man who inspired and created a new wave in the Japanese Basketball.

Helping in leading his school, Shohoku Prefectural High School against the powerhouse and number #1 school in Japan in the second round of the National Tournament.

His red bald hair, and gangster like gaze was staring at the building of the Shohoku school.

[SAKURAGI: HAHAHAHAHA!.]

Sakuragi laughs hard and stands proud with both of his hands are on his waist.

The student are proud to see that he is back but now they were not so sure anymore, his antics were now back and they want the peaceful atmosphere that they had when he was gone.

[SHOHOKU STUDENT#1: Hays….]

[SHOHOKU STUDENT#2: His back….]

[SHOHOKU STUDENT#3: I wish he was gone a little longer…]

The 3 students shows their dismay at the return of Sakuragi, and Sakuragi heard it all and rushed towards them.

He grabs of the student by the collar and said….

[SAKURAGI: WHAT DID YOU SAY?!.]

Suddenly someone threw a bottle of water at Sakuragi's head.

Sakuragi turned around and said….

[SAKURAGI: Y…Yo…You…Bastard… ARE DEAD!.]

Sakuragi let's go of the collar of the student and runner up to the guy that threw a bottle of water on his head…

[SAKURAGI: NOZOMI! You Pig! You're dead if I catch you!.]

[MITO: HAHAHA! Nozomi your the first person to be sacrificed for Sakuragi for his returned HAHAHA!.]

[NOZOMI: DONT JOKE AROUND, YOHEI!.]

[OHKUSU: Just get killed already, Nozomi, You're fat ass couldn't possibly run away from Sakuragi.]

[CHUICHIROU: That's right.]

Chuichirou nodded alongside Mito and all the student at Shohoku.

Some time Later.

Sakuragi is at the Gym and the rest of the team greeted him alongside Ayako and Coach Anzai, and the new manager, Haruko.

[MIYAGI: Welcome Back, Sakuragi.]

[SAKURAGI: That's right, Ryota.]

Miyagi and Sakuragi high fives each other and the rest of the team welcomed Sakuragi back.

Miyagi told the team to line up as the new members of the team is ready to introduce themselves.

Sakuragi walked towards Haruko who welcomed him with a smile and Sakuragi was crying as he saw the smile of Haruko again with the cherry blossom flowers in the background of Haruko.

Miyagi and the rest of the team are dumbfounded by the action of Sakuragi, Miyagi was then taken by the smile of Ayako and he had the same reactions as to Sakuragi.

[MIYAGI: Ayako-San….]

Ayako noticed Miyagi and smacked him in the head, Miyagi then gets focus again and told Sakuragi to lines up like the rest of them.

[SAKURAGI: That Ryota… just because he became a captain… he thinks he can order this genius around!.]

[HARUKO: Let's talk more later, okay? Sakuragi-Kun?.]

Sakuragi heard it and his ear was flying like a bird.

[SAKURAGI: All right, Haruko-Chan.]

Haruko smiled and Sakuragi runs to the side of Miyagi and Miyagi, introduced himself towards the first years.

[MIYAGI: I'm Ryota Miyagi, the captain of Shohoku Basketball Team, a third year class 9. Please to meet you all, I'm the starting point guard of the team and beside me is the last year's National Tournament lead leader in rebound.]

Miyagi then smack Sakuragi in the stomach and told him to introduce himself to the first year's.

[SAKURAGI: Ehem… My name is Hanamichi Sakuragi, 193.04 cm, I play Power Forward position, a second year class 8. It's your guys pleasure to play with me, the genius basketball player!.]

Sakuragi laugh and Miyagi continues, he told the first year to introduce themselves, one by one the first year's are completing their introduction and the last two first year have left.

The first of the two to introduce themselves is the 185.42cm first year who is oddly similar looking to Shoichiro Jin of Kainan.

[SHOTA: My name is Shota Jin, a 185.42cm and I play shooting guard. I graduated from Takeishi Junior High.]

Miyagi took interest as well as Sakuragi, Sakuragi knew that Mitsui is also from Takeishi Junior, but he couldn't remember but he knew Shota is look like someone he played against with.

Last one is slightly taller than Sakuragi, but he seems like a soft guy and he was reserved because he was visibly shaking.

[DAICHI: My name is…. Daichi Kobayashi, I play Center and my height is 195.58cm, I graduated from Wakou Junior High.]

[SAKURAGI: Oh… you're from my Junior High, Huh?.]

Sakuragi laugh in joy as he finds his kouhai to be from his alma mater of Junior High.

[MIYAGI: Alright, let's stop the introduction and start the practice with a little bit of scrimmage.]

Miyagi and Sakuragi smiled at each other and looks at the first years.

[MIYAGI: Let's play, First years versus Junior and Senior!.]

Same time.

The beloved third year of Shohoku is now beginning their new chapter in College, Takenori Akagi, a center is now playing for the Shimazen University in Tokyo, Japan. One of the contending university in Japan. He is playing alongside with Kenji Fujima.

And Kogure, the vice captain of Shohoku is now studying at Misuzo University in Fukuoka, Japan.

And Hisashi Mitsui although have a bad grades and having a hard time getting a scholarship, he was scouted for the B3 team of Japan Basketball League, he is now the backup shooting guard for Kagoshima Rebnise.
