Regrettable Lives

Lynne Rune, a 613-year-old vampire, is fascinated with the human race. So much, so that one day she visits a human library, interested to see what kind of fictional stories they write since vampires are forbidden to write creatively.
The first book to catch her eye shares her name... "Lynne Weatherstorm: a Jinxed Creature". Unable to detect magic, Rune pulls the book from its shelf and proceeds to read it, but shortly after, the pages begin to glow a dark shade of purple and the book rises in the air, the pages frantically turning. Before Rune can say "Oh ****", she is sucked into the book, the book snapping shut and falling to the ground after.
Lynne Rune suddenly finds herself inside the body of Lynne Weatherstorm, an oddly suspiciously normal-looking gal - short with long navy-blue hair up in a ponytail, dressed in modern-day clothes of a simple gray t-shirt and ripped blue jeans, and.... oh my... quite the rack on her chest to go with her curvy pear-shaped body. Her feet are bare, Rune notices before looking up and realizing she's standing in front of a rather tall, broad-shouldered male hottie.
Though, before Rune can utter a word, a transparent green box pops up in front of her face. The screen reveals simple text stating "Welcome to my never-ending loop of regrettable lives, Lynne Rune. I'm your host, Lynne Weatherstorm. Your task is simple... Destroy the loop and set my soul free. Fail to do so, and you'll be trapped in here with me for eternity."
What the heck was happening? All she wanted to do was enjoy a good book and be on her merry way, and now she's stuck in one instead?!
Rune would soon come to learn that Destroying the loop of Lynne Weatherstorm's lives, was much easier said than done, especially when she learned she had limited free speech and actions... Her body and lips moved on their own 99% of the time!
