19 Chapter 17: Beast Tide

Quinn spent the passing days with this elven children basically adventuring on all corners of Flatmore Forest. Usually, it had been the elves who were mostly fighting since Quinn was too powerful. Since the elves had half of Quinn's attributes, they could kill a Tier 3 monster if they all cooperate.

Quinn saw that their teamwork had become smoother, but their were still some mistakes and he still had to shout out some tips and advices from time to time. He was usually only following and shouting like that for the past days but he felt very fulfilled. Now he understood what Anrod meant that it was enjoyable to see others improve from your teachings.

Aisha was evidently the one who improved the most. From time to time, if Quinn wasn't giving commands, she would come up on her own. Her own management of her own mana were also improving.

Of course, all the others were geniuses and learned pretty quickly, it's just that they fell short compared to Aisha.

Slowly, a week passed by like that. Because he was receiving half of the xp from each of them, his level skyrocketed. Even with the enormous xp requirement, he had shot up to the peak of level 20. A little more push and he would reach Tier 2.

As for the elves, they're levels were all high enough and had just reached Tier 1. As for their skills, they're actually at a higher level than their own levels. That was because every night, just before sleeping, they would ask Quinn to cast [DREAM SIMULATION] on them.

They'd spend a month in the dream world training and when they wake up, they would only feel like waking up from a dream with their skills all levelled up.

As for Avelin and Jarvis, they had been running the forum trades and right now, they're overflowing with resources. Quinn even had to build more warehouses just to accommodate the rapidly increasing wealth.

There had also been some new resources that have been popping up. For example, there were some Magic Gold, a metal that was incredibly soft. A punch from an ordinary person would be enough to leave a dent on it. However, it was a very good mana conductor. Just adding a bit of it to Tier 1 swords, armor and others, it would improve them to the level of a Tier 2. Aside from durability, it would possess a Tier 2 weapon's characteristics.

There were also drops of dragon blood that had been dropped by lizard type monsters. It possessed a lot of magic power and if you used it as ink, the words would basically never age. Even in a thousand years, it would look like it have been just written.

Speaking of dragons, Quinn had been refining all the monsters he and the elves had killed since he still wanted to make a dragon and phoenix mounts. Yes, you heard that right. He wanted a phoenix too now. Moreover, he also wanted to gift the elves their own dragon mounts. A single dragon would need thousands of monsters. Right now, they didn't even have enough for his mount, much less the elves.

There was one more thing, Quinn had been using his villager summoning chances and the population had grown into a small group already.

Quinn had made them all simple level 1 huts to live in. If they wanted to live in better houses, they could buy a blueprint from Quinn with contribution points. This was the currency in the territory for now. To get them, you can farm and submitting some of your harvests. If not, you can also go hunt and submit some monster corpses which would be bought at a certain price.

For the people who wanted to go hunt, Quinn made a special building for them. He made an Adventurer's Guild where they could receive missions. He had gotten this idea from webnovels.

Currently, it was empty and had no staff to run the place. It only had a Guild Master which was Elizar since aside from Quinn and the elves, he had the strongest combat power.

Quinn had also managed to make a big screen on one side of the building which displayed current missions available. It was basically made of transmission stones which stored information directly from the mind and also transmit information directly into the brain. Then there were transmission crystals which were able to display the information on the transmission stones.

Since he had already stolen ideas from webnovels, he didn't mind stealing some more. He had made identification watches for each of the residents. It was also made of transmission stones and transmission crystals. It contained all of the wearer's basic information, contribution points, current ongoing missions and others. Moreover, once you bind it by blood, it wouldn't respond to others other than you.

Among the residents, there had been a few children too. They were directly sent to school for Anrod to teach. Speaking of schools, Quinn had also built a Magic Academy and Warrior Academy because he could. It was also to prepare for the arrival of a bigger population.

Of course, Anrod had to be the Magic Academy's principal while Elizar was to lead the Warrior Academy. Right now, they had two positions each. Anrod was the principal for both elementary school and Magic Academy while Elizar was a Guild Master and a principal.

Overall, it had been a busy week for Quinn. He had been grinding in the forest and had to help in the territory's development. Fortunately, Avelin and Jarvis had been mostly doing the management work while Anrod helped from time to time. Quinn had been completely hands off when it comes to management and had only been in charge of building the territory.

Nevertheless, he was actually well liked by the residents since although he was the leader of a powerful territory and group, he never had that pressuring aura of one and even talked to them without putting on airs.

Well, in the first place, Quinn had never been suited to be a leader. That's why he nurtured Avelin and Jarvis into business and management gods.

Quinn finally had some time to relax a bit. He checked the forums for once again and saw that there had been a lot of changes.

One of the biggest was that the leaderboards already had the top ten filled up. His position and Sumi's had been untouched the whole time so their names were cemented as the strongest players.

With the cycle of Avelin and Jarvis trading resources with the players, the strength increase of others had been accelerated and actually caused Quinn's name to spread even more. Tier 1 items were already starting to become common which made a lot of people actually feel grateful towards Quinn since he had single-handedly did all this.

While he was browsing, a notification was suddenly sent out to every single player.

[Attention all Players. Some of elite players had already started building their own villages and slowly raising their populations. Savage beasts had already sensed the gathering of humans and had been attracted to their smell. A beast tide will be arriving to each of their villages with the intent to destroy. This is a tribulation all new villages must go through. The better your performance, the better the rewards. Please perform with the best you can do since there might be unexpected rewards. Good luck!]

[Additionally, you can choose your difficulty. The lower the difficulty, the lower the rewards.]

Difficulty levels:

Easy - a thousand non-tiered monsters will attack

Normal - a ten thousand non-tiered monsters lead by a Tier 1 monster will attack.

Hard - a hundred thousand non-tiered monsters lead by ten Tier 1 monsters will attack.

Nightmare - one million non-tiered monsters led by a hundred Tier 1 monsters will attack.

Hell - ten million non-tiered monsters will attack led by a thousand Tier 1 monsters

Without hesitation, Quinn picked Hell mode. Just with him alone, if they were tightly packed, he could take half of them with his meteor skill. He levelled it up inside the dream world since he didn't want to destroy anything in the forest. Now, it's range was very terrifying since it could wipe out a small army.

Fortunately, according to the additional information from Gaia, the villages would all be transported into a different space where the battle will take place. The damages to the territory won't be carried to the real one, but casualties will.

Quinn quickly notified all the residents by sending notifications to their identification watches and informing them of the current situations.

They were a little worried but at this point, they had developed blind trust towards Quinn. They had never seen his power but they had seen the elves. It was well known that Quinn was countless times more powerful than them.

So, all those who had the ability to fight all grabbed their weapons and prepared to fight with their chief.
