Voleth meir sat on a bench opposite her parents as she chanted into a glowing crystal.
Riya watched in awe as her parents chanted after her.
"The child is an embodiment of Black magic, she cannot be born, she's an abomination, she'll only bring chaos wherever she turns". Voleth meir said still touching and looking into the crystal.
"This is my child, and I'll protect her Voleth". Nephele said staring into space while holding Elena.
" How do we do that Nephele?" Elena said again looking worried.
"I'm the prince of Hell, and I would protect my woman and my child " he said stubbornly.
"Elena would be executed by the circle for befriending a demon or die while birthing the child" Voleth meir said calmly.
Elena gasped and Nephele just sat there calmly while holding her.
Riya just stood and watched the scene before her.

Chief Anthony stood in front of the church with hands in his pockets, it had been a while since he walked into service or even came for confession. He walked to the front door and pushed it open, it opened with a creak, he walked into the auditorium and took a deep breath.
" I see you remembered to pass by today Anthony". Father Jonas Malcolm said as he came into view.
" What does the bible say again?, come ye all to me if thou hath heavily laden " Chief Anthony said still looking ahead like the priest wasn't just right beside him.
" I see your biblical knowledge has improved". the priest said as he walked away to his office.
" You shouldn't stay down here alone in these days Father Jonas, it's really scarlet and dark in the streets these days" Anthony said looking around the old office with dusty books on dusty shelves and the fragile and frail furniture in it.
"I fear no one Anthony, it is you who is always on the run, what do you want Anthony? the priest asked cutting to the chase.
" There's been a weird occurrence in town, haven't you heard" he asked scrutinizing the priest.
" I don't hear much sitting in this office son" he replied still looking uninterested.
" A body showed up in town, and this is beyond natural, I want you to take a look" he said as he dropped pictures taken by the forensics on the table and took a closer look at his Dad.
His father hadn't seem to change a bit ever since he was a boy till now, he still put the church first before family, never came back home for weeks as he sat curled up in this same office like nothing or no one else mattered. Anthony's mother had passed away blaming herself for everything. His father had just gotten into the seminary in his teenage years, he later met Anthony's mum in a trip to Chicago where they had spoken heart to heart as strangers, got drunk in a rusty old bar and danced together all night, they had woken up in each other's arms and his father had regretted it immediately.
Anthony's father hid him and his mother for so long so he wouldn't be stripped off his status as a Reverend. He never came home to at least check on them, he completely threw them away like they were his worst mistake. Even when his mother had been sick and was diagnosed with breast Cancer, he didn't show up until her funeral. Anthony was twenty two at the time and had already come off age.....
" Haven't seen these since the conjuring". Father Jonas said, snapping him out of his thoughts.
"I thought so too" he replied and sighed.

Riya jerked and walked towards the door as she heard screams outside the house, she left the three people and went to the living room, she immediately went for the door, when she opened the door, she was shocked as the scenery outside had changed and she was now in the forest again, this time she saw a group of women with silver hair and eyes like her mother standing in the middle of the forest forming a circle as they watched someone in their midst, Riya went forward to take better look and saw her mother laying there in obvious pain, with her father holding her, she seemed to be in labour.
"That child is a curse and cannot be one of us" one of the women said.
" It's better to kill it and punish Elena for peace to reign". another said.
" We should keep it very close to us instead and harness it's powers than let the Royal family and its allies have it" the oldest woman who was Elena's mother spoke finally.
" Those are not the rules" one of the women retorted.
" I don't care what the rules are, no one is touching either of them". Nephele spoke up for the first time since the argument.
"Quiet demon" another witch said looking at him with disgust.
Riya suddenly felt something whoosh past her, she closed her eyes and the next time she opened her eyes, she was back in the library with Voleth meir still sitting and holding her hands.
Rick immediately ran to hold her while Elijah just feigned ignorance.
" you good?" he asked looking worried.
" Yeah I'm good" Riya said still hugging him.
Voleth meir stood up and walked towards one of the book shelves at the West wing, she whispered something and a book came out of one of the shelves and floated to her.
" This is the book containing the prophecy and how to use your powers and control it" Voleth meir said giving it to Riya.
"Guess we'll still be seeing you again witch". Elijah said and rolled his eyes.
"You're always welcome Elijah" Voleth meir said smiling.
" let's go". he said to Riya and Rick.
" How old are you?". Riya asked scrutinizing the woman.
" You don't wanna know". Elijah intercepted.
"I saw you in my parent's time, even before I was born". she said still eyeing the woman warily.
"Let's just say I'm your godmother". Voleth meir said smiling sheepishly.
"Godmo...my foot". Elijah muttered.
Riya chuckled hearing this and just stood up and went to stand beside Elijah with Rick following suit.
" let's go". Elijah said and muttered a spell.
A portal came into view and they all stepped inside it with Elijah going in last.
"What a man" Voleth meir said smiling.
