episode 69 Not the way I've thought

"Sophia Renji" is in her eternal slumber, "Wreck" has just discovered that she is not waking up because she gave up on reality, that would mean she would refuse to wake up for all eternity.

Wreck: that would mean we need to dive into her mind.

Keti: [confused] what? Dive into mind?

Wreck: I mean we could just dive and take a peek to what she's up to, dive in her mind and interact with her.

Keti: [confused] I'm sorry, when you say dive do you mean like we could shrink ourselves and go inside?

Seth: I don't get what you mean, can you explain it in a different way?

Wreck: we need dive in to her-, [soft face palm, sigh] what I'm trying to say is that we need to talk to her inside her dreams because that's where she hides herself.

Keti: next time could you please explain it in simpler terms? You can't just use words that only you can understand.

Wreck: when I said dive, I was metaphorically referencing to the so-called device that you could have your consciousness transported into a system temporarily, nerve gears were not invented yet?

Seth: anyway, how are we going to enter "Sophia's" dreams?

Wreck: I have just the tool for it.

The whole team entered the room, "Wreck" pulled out a tool that looked like a light saber with silver blade, as he turns it on the blade from the light looked like a long silver flame sparking.

Wreck: with this we can dive into her dreams, but we have to cut her together or otherwise we will be left out.

the whole team held the saber together and were ready to enter "Sophia's" mind.

Wreck: are you all ready? Once we're inside, we'll wake up into her dream world.

Keti: find none other than "Sophia".

On their marks they used the saber on "Sophia", the blade got canceled and they all fell asleep, a few moments later they all woke up at the highest peak near the mistletoe and there's a city at the bottom.

Seth: there's no way!

Keti: it's like we're back at the domain of the "God of Death".

Suddenly "Benjamin Forts" appears out of nowhere walking past them.

Wreck: that's "Benjamin", my very first friend.

Puri: did "Thanatos" kidnap another human? I thought they were all freed for good.

Wreck: this is my dream, I've seen this place before, "Benjamin" said that there are no heroes on earth.

Seth: if this is your dream, then how are we supposed to get to "Sophia's" dream?

Wreck: we need to jump off the boundary that haven't been dreamed about.

Fey: [excited] I get it, it's like that Skyland survival game, you jump off the floating island then you can jump out of the world.

"Fey" went ahead and jumped off "Wreck's" dream, the rest of the team did the same after that, they ended up getting separated from one another, suddenly "Keti" and "Wreck" end up together in "Keti's" dream, she dreamed about being superior than "Wreck" all this time that he had to see it with his own eyes.

Keti: [nervous] "Wreck", this is not what it looks like.

"Wreck" goes outside while "Keti" chases after him.

Keti: [nervous, panic] this is not what is looks like, it's just a misunderstanding.

Wreck: save it "Keti", who am I to judge you? Whenever someone is smarter than you, you just wish you would surpass him, I don't know how I ended up seeing this, we should have all gone individually when we jumped off the boundary, instead we were both dragged together to your dream.

Keti: wha-? (But I didn't even drag you here, is there a third party in here)?

suddenly "Wicker" appears behind "Keti", it put her into shivers and made her back away.

Keti: who are you? You're not even part of my dream.

Wicker: [smile] thought this might end well, never crossed my mind you were forgiving.

Wreck: "Wicker Veganson"!

Keti: [confused] "Veganson"? are you 2 related? Who is this guy? And how is he in my dreams?

Wreck: my older brother, he died from a heart decease, I don't even have a clue why he's here.

Wicker: aw, lil bro, don't you miss your sibling that much? It's been a while since we saw each other face-to-face.

Wreck: let's go "Keti", we can't waste any more time [walk away].

Keti: …hold it, aren't you gonna have a little chat with your own brother? You might miss it.

Wicker: yeah, listen to her, lil bro, because I miss talking to you.

Wreck: I would consider talking next time, mister "Renji" is waiting for his precious daughter to wake up from her long sleep, are you expecting to let him suffer so much? Seeing his baby girl on that bed, not hearing a single voice from her.

Wicker: you can't turn your back like this, you don't know how much reality is much cruel than to have someone close die before you, that's why you need to turn around and look at the bright side, reality is called a relief, that's why death is an important subject, it is why you are needed alive.

Wreck: [realize, surprised, stop] …I want to ask you something, after you died…were monitoring me?

Wicker: [smile] aww, silly little brother, how can someone monitor you when they're dead?

Wreck: can you please look at me when I'm asking? Did you watch every last thing I've done? Can you hear the voices when they speak?

Wicker: where are you getting all these questions? it's not even possible for the dead to do that.

Wreck: next question [turn around, cry] were you the one who's interfering? Are you the one who summoned an anti-scorpion of life?

Wicker: little brother, you're hallucinating, you're confusing fictional theories over reality.

Keti: "Wreck", what's going on? Do you even consider your brother as your relative? You look suspicious of him.

Wreck: [cry, disappointed] you damn brother, you broke the rules of reality, are you an awakener?

Wicker: I didn't even answer any of your questions, and yet you consider all of them true?

Wreck: you don't need to answer, your eyes tell me everything, now I can feel your true colors behind my back.

Wicker: little brother, I did what I had to do, for your own sake you need to trust me.

Wreck: no, I can't do that anymore, not after what was revealed, that my brother faked his own death and stalked me this entire time without my notice… "Keti", jump off the boundary and find "Sophia", maybe he's right that I should talk to him.

Keti: will you be okay?

Wreck: find "Sophia", I can't let this awakener interfere.

"Keti" looked at the boundery for a second, she nodded at "Wreck" then went on jumping off.

wicker: why are you being so naughty all of a sudden? I'm just trying to help you understand, those friends of yours aren't always what they seem, a failure of an exorcist, a smiley reincarnation, a warrior of no attributes, and finally a half "Skarvenian" human, you just saw how she thinks of you in her dreams, what other proof do you need so you can trust me again?

Wreck: I haven't known a single bit about them, I let them share their stories true or not, the way you described them makes them even more special, I would cherish this misfit of a team like I'm part of it.

"Keti" has reached "Sophia's" dream, it is a very calm and happy place, a town made of candies with lakes of chocolate, another town beside it is a tea party house where everyone uses mugs and drink tea, a burglar makes his move and mugs someone with a mug, "Sophia" appears like she is the superhero who will put him to justice.

Keti: [surprised, call out] "Sophia"!!

Sophia: huh? Who are you?

Keti: …hi, it's such a lovely dream you have.

Sophia: [giggle] must be a hallucination, good bye.

"Sophia" thought "Keti" is part of her dream so she tried removing her, when nothing happened, she got confused thinking "Keti" is permanently here.

Sophia: [confused] that's strange, you shouldn't be here when I do that, you're not even part of this world.

Keti: "Sophia", we need to talk, you have to wake up to reality.

Sophia: [shocked] what did you says?

Suddenly the atmosphere of her dream got twist to dark, the whole citizens of the towns were terrified and went back inside their shelters, "Sophia" pulls out a court for judgement and teleports all the citizens in it, "Keti" is now the suspect who's about to be sentenced.

Sophia: ladies and gentlemen, there is but one rule around here that no one should ever break, and that's accepting this fantasy, but we have here right now is an unknown suspect who used the R word.

All citizen gasped upon her doing.

Sophia: so, would you mind explaining yourself?

Keti: oh, sorry, my name is "Keti Yamazaki", and I'm here to wake you up.

Sophia: wake me up? You think that's possible?

Keti: …look, your dad is waiting for you on the other side, I was told that you've given up on reality.

Sophia: what are you, some kind of an agent from an organization coming here to do what's undesirable?

Keti: "Sophia", you need to wake up, there's so much you missed out there…your body is being contaminated at the hospital, the curse has been lifted, you look as healthy as ever, except for the part you were here for several days.

Sophia: listen "Yamazaki", I'm fine being here, but reality is cruel as ever.

Keti: I know how it feels when it's not fair from the outside.

Sophia: exactly, you get the idea, nothing is fair, having bad luck isn't fair, being the only one bullied isn't fair, not getting what you wanted isn't fair, that's why you should leave this cruel fate and dream for the better world.

Keti: this isn't right, you're pushing everyone away, you'll be all alone at the end.

Sophia: that's not true, I've got them, they are much better than real people.

Keti: "Sophia", you made the whole thing up, the one thing I know about a dream is that they act the way how I feel they act, there was someone out there who's much smarter than me but he purposely ranks below me, I kept thinking of how much he's mocking me with his low grades.

Sophia: and what does that have to do with me? I'm sorry, okay? But that world is not for me.

Keti: …I used to think that this world was for me to live in, but I'm much more of a misfit myself, [smile] you're gonna love my team when you meet them, a group of misfits who are existing as the world's exotic squad, trust me when I say 'we can fix your bad luck and help you live a better reality than before'.

Sophia: [surprised] really? Will the world bring me mercy?

Keti: this one guy I've been talking about, he's younger than me and yet…he helped me fight back this cruel fate, his powers were disturbing, he can shift literally anything he makes contact with and turn it into his desirable object, he can do that to a living body too, heal wounds, lift curse, you're gonna love the way he does things.

"Sophia" decided to approach "Keti" and look her in the face.

Sophia: such a person even exists? But still [cry, smile] …reality hurts sometimes, I can't handle it.

Keti: "Sophia", if you have problems, you talk…you can't keep this pain for yourself, otherwise no one will try to help.

Sophia: and if they think I'm crazy?

Keti: then talk to weirdos, they always talk about weird stuff, isn't that enough reason to wake up?

Sophia: …take me to this boy you're talking about, I wanna talk to him.

Keti: you need to wake up first.

Suddenly everyone wakes up, even "Sophia" has decided to wake up, her father and "Rin" were waiting for her in the room this whole time.

Sophia's dad: [surprised, cry] my baby girl is finally awake!

Sophia: dad? "Rin"? [giggle, smile] long time no see, how have you been?

Keti: "Sophia"!!

Sophia: now where is that boy, "Yamazaki"?

Keti: "Sophia" I would like you to meet "Wreck Veganson", capable shifter.

Sophia: capable…shifter? [smile]…can you help me live a better life than last time?

Wreck: sure, if you have any problems, just tell us and we will help you out, we're a team after all, and there are enough rooms for you to join us.

Sophia: …I sure do love to.
