episode 66 Shifter's wrath

After escaping the cave with the whole town, the team stumbles upon battling the God of Death "Thanatos", the whole town need to search for the goblet of death in order to exit his domain, will the team be able to defeat "Thanatos" or fall by his hands?

Keti: "Fey", we need a boost from here on, something tells me that this fight won't go well.

Fey: [use booster flame] good luck, make sure you don't die here.

"Fey" used her booster flame on the rest of the team then left with the people to find the goblet of death, the team went on fighting "Thanatos" with all their might, "Wreck" kept making perfect strikes but none of it had any effect on him, "Seth" launch himself towards him and tried to strike him with all kinds of tactics, "Thanatos" grabbed his foot and tossed him towards "Wreck", "Puri" summoned 2 giant snakes and spore around him a type of venom that causes nausea, "Keti" took the opportunity to strike him with her beast cloak, every time she scratches him his wounds just keep recovering.

Thanatos: you're just wasting your time; you think fighting me is the only option for you to win?

Seth: it's no use attacking him like this, we need to use a great force of power to injure him.

Wreck: that's just what I'm thinking.

"Wreck" leaps towards him and tried raising his multiple hits in one with vector blast and attack, it launched "Thanatos" to the mountain making a bigger scratch on him.

Thanatos: interesting, you, "Wreck Veganson" are something, but those teammates of yours are total non-sense, you scratch me hard while they struggle to catch up to you, can you show me even more of your capabilities?

Wreck: you don't get to make comments about my friends unnecessarily.

Thanatos: let's see, how do I get you to show me what you can do?

"Thanatos" vanished in a blink of an eye and appeared behind "Puri", as he bashes her head off it would most likely be the end of her, luckily it was a snake clone and she was actually backing away towards "Wreck" and "Seth".

Puri: [terrified, panting] (that was so close, if I haven't made that clone, I'm done for) how did he get behind me so quickly?

Wreck: [surprised] that was a quick step, he only took one step to reach "Puri", if he went for her that would mean he's trying to taunt me.

Thanatos: why bother having that exorcist in my domain? She's so puny and an apprentice like, having her around is just going to be a waste.

"Keti" charged in without a second thought and slashed "Thanatos" with all her might, it made a bigger scar on him, she kept slashing while he started dodging her attacks, suddenly he blasted her with powerful plasma attack launching her towards "Wreck", it made a wound on her.

Wreck: "Keti", you okay.

Keti: do not heal me, I can take it, that last attack caught me off guard.

Thanatos: you're tougher than I thought, looks like this buff you're having is quite the sorcery, then how about I attack those who aren't hit by one.

"Thanatos" aims his plasma attack at the people who're climbing the mistletoe.

Puri: but they're all immortal, aren't they?

Wreck: to us, yes…but not to "Thanatos".

As he shoots his plasma attack, they were all about to die, eventually out of nowhere a barrier made of red paint appeared protecting them, that would mean one thing, "Shijima" has arrived and is here to help the team.

Seth: [surprised] it's "Shijima" of the art room!

Keti: "Shijima"? I thought you'd never want to see us.

Shijima: I've been staring at both your paintings for so long that it hit me, I was intrigued by your expertise, those 2 paintings were triggering, that's why I kicked you out.

"Shijima" takes the sheet and signs it, then gives it back to "Keti".

Thanatos: joining forces with the team? You seem a bit unaware.

Shijima: the only weakness "Thanatos" has is if we removed the title 'dead' from those who were marked by his domain, good thing you've thought carefully about that.

Wreck: my actual attention was to free those people from his hands, it's a coincidence the 2 conditions match.

The team and "Shijima" fought "Thanatos" with all their might, "Shijima" used her paint brush to illustrate what she paints and made it her weapon, "Puri" trapped him by grabbing his arms with her snakes, "Keti" used her beast cloak to scratch him and "Seth" used his blaze gear to slash him multiple times, "Thanatos" frees one of his arms and tried to shoot "Puri" with his plasma attack, "Wreck" used his revolver to disrupt him, "Shijima" made a paint of Japanese horsemen with spears to stab him, "Wreck" made his final attempt to make his giant spark bomb and hit him with everything he have got, making a bigger smoke covering "Thanatos", suddenly "Fey" just found the goblet of death.

Fey: [excited, raise goblet, yell] I have found the goblet, it was right on top of the mistletoe.

As soon as the smoke clears out, "Thanatos" has already disappeared, he appears right behind "Fey" and blasted her making a big hole that would eventually kill her, she falls off the mistletoe hitting the ground as everyone watches in shock.

Keti: [yell] "Feeeeeeeeeeeeeyyyyyyyyyy"!

Thanatos: now then, "Wreck", shall we begin the most awaited event of all times?

The booster flame runs out, the team became weaker than before and "Shijima" was going to launch a plasma cannon as she illustrates it with her painting, "Thanatos" arrives right beside her and destroys the cannon then blasts her away from the battle, "Keti" falls on her knee crying as he approaches her.

Thanatos: I'm waiting, if killing her made you this weak then this mean you relied on her strength alone, come on, you know that she was stronger than you, and yet you let her give you a boost.

"Thanatos" was going to grab her by the neck, "Wreck" arrives before him grabbing his wrist so tightly.

Thanatos: …did you finally realize what you must do? It seems the show is about to begin.

Wreck: you have absolutely no idea what you're asking for.

"Wreck" looked at "Thanatos" with a death stare, he has already activated his eternal mode, he raised his multi hits in one punch up to 1000 and punched him so hard that he flew away, this attack just destroyed "Wreck's" arm completely, suddenly he tried to awaken his eternal mode to its complete state, a black coat suddenly started to appear, crack marks appear next to his left eye and started glowing in blue.

Seth: [shocked] damn it, kid…what the hell are you?

"Thanatos" arrives as quickly as possible to blast "Wreck", "Wreck" grabs the plasma like it was a dough of bread and shatters it then starts to throw multiple spark bombs at him.

Wreck: for a being who ascended life and death, you seem like a cheat yourself.

Thanatos: if you knew that then why bother fighting?

Wreck: if I talk then that would be the end for us so, you better figure it out yourself.

"Wreck" kept attacking him with all kinds of tactics, seeing as it did not do any result on him, "Wreck" decides to release electric shackles that would grab hold of him, hoping it would weaken "Thanatos", giant blue transparent arms appear grabbing "Thanatos" and 2 more arms to electrocute him until his skin starts to shatter slowly, a few moments just passed and suddenly "Wreck's" attack just vanished, his eternal mode has deactivated, "Wreck" started choking for some reason, his esophagus had sucked itself making him unable to breath, he collapsed on the ground then "Keti" began to approach him.

Keti: [surprised] "Wreck", you dumb idiot, do you want to die… [cry] I never wanted this to happen, [yell] I just wanted to know what the demons want from me dammit, all I wanted from you is if you could sign the sheet.

Thanatos: sign the sheet, aye? Must be one of "Grimm's" doings, oh well, guess I have to wrap things up since I'm not amused by that brat's power.

"Thanatos" targeted the people who are now climbing down the mistletoe, as he blasts them with his plasma it did suddenly hit them however, the blast had absolutely no effect on them.

Thanatos: [surprised] (what? Did I miss? No, that was a direct hit, let me just try this again).

As he shoots again nothing happened.

Thanatos: [surprised] what's going on? I know I'm hitting them but it did no effect.

Grimm: ah, so you just did it then.

"Grimm" appears out of nowhere in the domain, smiling at "Thanatos" as if he's mocking him.

Thanatos: what do you want? Don't you know it's rude to stick your nose in other's business?

Grimm: oh on, I wasn't going to interfere, I'm just here to see how much you've just came to meet the consequences.

Thanatos: what do you mean by that?

Grimm: you have fought the almighty capable shifter, angering him was crossing the line, then he used his attack to infect you, now that the infection is permanently stuck on you for the rest of eternity.

Thanatos: what utter non-sense! Him? Infect me? you just think highly of him.

He tried to blast "Wreck" with all he has got and "Grimm" didn't try to stop him, suddenly the plasma just blasted backwards disrupting his own arm.

Grimm: [smirk] see? That's the infection, this plasma you had been pulling isn't longer to your benefits, all your advantages are now your disadvantages, you think that I highly respect the boy because he's the mightiest, but in truth I know that boy from top to bottom.

Thanatos: [angry] damn you, "Grimm".

"Thanatos" tried to punch "Grimm", suddenly it shattered his arm making him feel the agony, suddenly "Thanatos" lies down on the ground furious.

Grimm: that's the infection for you, the infection that belongs to the capable shifter, he inserted the figure inside you, a figure known as the "shifter's Wrath" now it's going to shift everything about you, making you so powerless against others.

Fey: is that so?

"Fey" appears behind "Thanatos" and used her booster flames on him, instead of giving him a buff it agonized him even more, the whole team were shocked to see her alive.

Keti: [surprised] "Fey"! you're alive?

Fey: what are you all waiting for? The people are drinking from the goblet of death, and we still have 2 mysteries left to sign the sheet.

Thanatos: [surprised] you were distracting me for so long so they can drink from that goblet?

Keti: [slap own cheeks] you're right, [yell] "Mitsuba", "Mitsuba", where are you?

Mitsuba: [yell, happy] oh, hi there my contenders, did you finish my trials already?

Shijima: this is a bit off reasoning.

"Shijima" created a way for "Keti" to reach "Mitsuba", he appears to be caged with loads of candies and video games behind him.

Keti: I see you have been bribed off guard with those candies, we reached your office but you weren't there, there was also a sign to congratulate us.

Mitsuba: [giggle] this is embarrassing, to think I would miss the whole thing like that.

"Keti" gives "Mitsuba" the sheet so he could sign it, then she went to "Thanatos" who's currently suffering at the moment.

Thanatos: I'm not going to sign that sheet.

Keti: suit it yourself, if you want to suffer for eternity that is, oh look, your arm says you need to sign it.

"Thanatos's" right arm has been recovered because of the figure inside him, eventually he decides to sign the sheet, since all 7 mysteries signed the sheet, "Keti" went to deliver it to "Grimm".

Keti: as requested, 7 of them have signed.

"Grimm" grabs the sheet, suddenly revealing that it's not just a sheet of paper, it was a contract paper for those who wishes to give up their authority over their domain, both "Thanatos" and "Shijima" were shocked to see the truth behind the sheet.

Mitsuba: [yell] guys? Am I missing something here? I would like to go home now.

Grimm: [smirk, hand sign] world execution.

The moment "Grimm" said those 2 words, the whole team and all the mysteries got teleported leaving the domain of the God of Death.
