My friends and I sat around our usual table, stuffing our faces with food. Sam's eyes widened as she scrolled through her phone, speaking through a mouthful of fries.

"Guys, we have to go to this club! My favourite DJ is playing there this weekend!"

"I am so not in the mood for clubbing," I groaned as Toby nodded in agreement.

"Same. I'm still heartbroken or whatever."

"Which is exactly why we should go! It's the perfect thing to get our minds off things!"

I picked up her phone to see the poster, eyebrows lifting as I recognised the name of the club.

"Sam, this is a gay club."

"Oh, shit, really? That's even better."

"I was always curious about gay clubs," Toby said thoughtfully. "I'm down."

"Seriously, Toby? You wanna go to a gay club?"

"What's a better way to forget your cheating ex-girlfriend than to see a bunch of muscular dudes in thongs waving their dicks around?"

"See, Toby gets it!"

"You guys are so gay," I rolled my eyes, "Alright, let's go."
