"Wait, so your husband is the president and owner of the big Fernandez Corporation?" Elena asked in a choked voice. Her hands trembled without Elise noticing.

"Yes, that's why Mommy is so demanding of my child."

Elena ignored Elise's words. She daydreamed about all the possibilities there was. What happens if Elise or Brian finds out about Diego? About the corruption case that was trapping the man. The man must be on a rampage and will not lend money. And Elena also doesn't want them to know about it. Not out of embarrassment to admit Diego as her fiancé. But because Elena doesn't want other people to look down on Diego. She believes Diego is innocent. It would be better if Elena did not tell about Diego and the use of the money she was going to ask Elise for.
