In a dark room, the door suddenly burst open, slamming hard against the wall.

"Don't break the HICUP door HICUP, it's expensive!" said Matheus.

"You should have told me you don't handle alcohol well." Li smiled as he supported the man by the arm.

"You're the one with an HICUP unbelievable tolerance!"

"It's new to me too…" Jihan replied.

Aside from a few glasses of wine, he had never drunk anything with alcohol. Despite that, after downing over a dozen glasses, he was practically fine.

"That one's my bed, you can take the other one," Matheus explained. "It's what we have for now, but as we HICUP rise in ranks, it'll get better!"

Jihan concentrated mana in his free hand, the glow providing just enough light for him to see where he was stepping. It was a simple room with two beds, desks, wardrobes, and a bathroom.
