Waking Up in a Couple of Interrogating from Mess

{SHIN'S ROOM AT 6:10 IN THE MORNING}

Shin was sleeping. While sleeping, someone was calling his name.

"Shin, Shin." They said.

"...huh…who…is it?..."

Shin tries to wake up, as he hears some voice. But the voice was hard to hear, so he couldn't wake up properly.

"Shin…"

"...w-ho?..."

Shin tries to wake up again, but his vision was foggy, and his mind is empty, so it failed to wake up.

"SHin."

"...b…ba…bab…"

No luck to wake up Shin like he can't hear the voice anymore.

They tried to wake him up by shaking, but he's already returned to sleep.

"Sorry, Shin. You leave me no choice." A guy voices.

Someone held Shin's arm. The longer that person held his arm, the warmer Shin's felt from his arm.

Little by little, Shin's arm is getting warmer. It becomes warm to hot, the longer it continues. Shin already felt something, as he's twitching from the heat.

It's getting hotter and hotter, as the heat gets higher. Shin's arm was twitching so much, as it got hotter.

It's heating more.

Heating and heating and heating and heating. Until…

"AAAAA!"

Shin wakes up and bursts into screaming.

"M-my arm!"

Shin holds his arm as he screams in pain.

"AaaaAaaa!"

Shin's arm was bleeding from burning. His skin was melted, the sight of its meat was like a bubble, and a few of its meat became liquid as it dripped to his bed. And a bone slightly visible.

"M-m-my a-arm…"

"Shin."

The people who tried to wake up Shin were Lucas and Noki.

Shin looks terrified when he looks at them.

"W-w-w-w-why?" Shin asked.

"Sorry. I don't have a choice."

The one who did it to Shin's arm was Lucas.

After Shin heard that, he became more terrified.

Shin holds its own arm and looks down. "W-why? Why? Did I do something wrong? What did I do to make this happen to me? It's hot, my arm hurts. Why?" He said it without looking at them.

Shin holds its arm tighter until it bleeds more.

"Why?"

"Shin!"

Lucas grabs Shin's shoulders to catch its attention.

"Shin, calm down. You seem to have misunderstood something."

Shin looks at him.

"Misunderstood?"

"Yea."

"T-then why did you do this to my arm?"

"We tried to wake you up, but it seems you're in a deep sleep, so I did that."

Shin looks at him with doubt in its eyes.

"Is that so?"

"Yea."

"Why is it necessary to do this in my arm?"

"As I said, you're in a deep sleep. We can't wake you up."

Shin calms down and removes his hand to its wound.

"Ouch."

When Shin removes his hand, the meat in his wound sticks to his hand.

"Are you already calm?" Lucas asked.

"Yea."

"Are you alright?" Noki asked.

"You see this, my arm. It's freaking hurt."

"Sorry." Lucas apologized.

"What did you do to my arm? Did you pour some acid?"

"No, it's my ability. My ability was Fire."

Lucas lit a fire in his finger.

"I used my hand to burn your arm. I accidentally raised the temperature too much, so that's how it resulted."

"Wait, why are you telling me this?"

"Telling what?"

"Revealing your ability. Didn't you guys said keep it a secret?"

Shin's wound regenerates. The meat that dripped in the bed and the meat that sticks in his hand were flying back to his wound and slowly attaching until it completely regenerated without leaving a single scar.

"..." Shin became silent out of amazement.

"Wow…" Noki was amaze as well.

"Your ability is really amazing." Lucas said.

Shin looks at his arm carefully.

"Really… completely healed."

Noki grabs Shin's arm and takes a good look too.

"Does it hurt?" Noki asked.

"Not anymore."

"While regenerating, is it painful?" Lucas asked.

"I felt slight pain."

Noki raised and looked at Shin's arm that healed, then said, "That was so cool!" with a sparkle in his eyes.

"...anyway, Lucas, what's the reason to wake me up again?" Shin asked.

"Now that you remind me. Shin, they're called you."

"Who?"

"Imperium."

"Huh, when? Where?"

"Right now, they're down there."

"Wait, really?"

"Yea. Hurry, you need to go down there."

Shin got out of the bed and hurried left the room with Lucas and Noki.

"Sorry for the wait. Sir, here's your black coffee, and here's Café Latte with cake for the lady."

Sana serves some coffees and a cake to some 2 people wearing a white suit.

It was a man and a woman. The guy has brownish hair and eyes, and he's wearing glasses. While the girl just has short light blue hair and normal blue eyes.

The guy takes a sip of his coffee. And the girl starts eating her cake.

"It seems it takes longer to call Mr. Shin." The guy said.

"Sir, sorry, it seems something happened."

Alice was with them, she was standing there while the two of them were sitting.

"Then how long are we going to wait?"

"Please, sir, wait a longer."

The guy sighed.

The guy flipped a document at the table and read it.

"Shin Armstrong. 20 yrs old. He's a single child and both of his parents are already dead. He lives closely here. Ohoh… he's new here?"

"...yes sir."

"How unlucky the person is. Coincidently witnessing that… or is it really a coincidence…"

"That's no good, Dylan. Doubting people just like that." The girl spoke.

"We're in a serious matter, and you have just been happily eating that."

The girl slices a small portion of her cake and tries to feed Dylan.

"I don't want it." Dylan said.

"Want another one?"

The girl ate the rest of the cake.

Dylan stared at Alice and said, "It's none of your busine–"

Shin arrives in the café.

"Shin, why did you take so long?" Ms. Alice asked.

"Sorry for calling you here, Mr. Armstrong. But we have some questions to ask you." The guy asked.

"Is that so?... then what you guys are going to ask me?"

"It's about the case. You know what I'm talking about."

The tone of the guy sounded serious when he said that.

"...then what's the question?"

"Wait, let's go to the crime scene. And they were going to interrogate you."

"Then sir, let me be the one to lead the way." Ms. Alice said.

"Miss manager, no need to follow us. Let Mr. Armstrong lead the way. The three of us will only be there."

Ms. Alice looked at me with seriousness in her eyes and put her hand on my shoulder then said, "Mr. Shin, go, lead them there."

"Yes." I said. "Then sir, ma'am, shall we go now?"

"Go ahead." The guy answered.

Then we left the café. But before leaving, I looked at the back and saw Sana looked worried.

While we were heading to the elevator, every staff member we bypassed didn't look at us until we rode the elevator, even Sam didn't look at me.

After reaching the floor, I felt nervous. And while we were on our way to the room, I became more nervous.

"We're here." I said.

Now we've reached the room. When I opened the door, and we entered the room, my heart started racing.

The guy looked around the room. Meanwhile, me, becoming more nervous.

While I'm having an unstable breathing, someone touched my back.

"Hey, are you okay?" The lady asked me.

"I'm just pretty nervous."

"Relax, just take it easy. We're just going to ask you."

What the lady said sounds suspicious. But just like she said, I need to calm down. So I tried to catch my breath little by little until I calmed down.

"Thank Miss, now I'm alright."

"Good."

"Sofia."

The guy looked at us. Then suddenly the lady took a chair and made me sit down in it. After I sat down, the lady took out some handkerchiefs and blindfolded me.

"What's this? What's going on?" I asked.

"Calm down, this is a part of procedures."

It was the voice of the guy, and it came from in front of me.

"Is that so…" I said.

"Then let's start."

As soon as the guy said that, suddenly I felt someone hold my head. The feeling of a hand both on my left and right side of my head.

"Can you describe what happened?"

Knowing this voice, the guy was the one who asked me. Now knowing what situation I'm in, a voice of a man in front of me and I feel someone behind. Then it means the guy was in front of me asking some question while the lady was behind me holding my head.

"I just brought the food until I saw the girl naked on the bed. The guy said it was their honeymoon."

"Is that all?"

"Yes."

"Do you know what the guy looks like?"

"He looked like in late 20s and his hair was like black, yellow in the middle."

"I see… then that's all."

After the guy said that, the lady released my head and took off my blindfold.

"Is it done?" I asked.

"Yes. You can go now."

Then I left.

After Shin left.

"Sofia, how is it?"

"He's clear."

"I see… Then we're done here, let's go."
