Good or Bad

After accepting Claire's request, I returned to my room.

I entered the room. Someone was there.

It was the bald guy. He's sitting on his bed.

If I remember correctly, His name was Logan.

So I went close to him to introduce myself, "You're Logan, right? I'm Shin, I'm new here. Nice to meet you." then offer him a handshake.

"..."

"I'm not a bad person."

He held my hand. I thought he would accept me by handshake but…

When he held my hand, it's not for a handshake but to break my arm by holding my hand, then he used his other hand to push my elbow. That's how he broke my arm.

"AAAA!!" I scream really hard as I hold my arm. "M-my a-arm…"

My right arm was broken. My tears started to flow through in pain as I tried to connect my arm.

"W-why?" I said.

"..."

He punched me in the face and I fell in a bed behind.

"Aw, I bit my tongue."

He kicked the bed hard and so the bed tilted then hit the bed next to it so both bed and I fell down.

"Wait." While I'm on the ground, he tries to stomp me, but I dodge it by using my left hand and feet to launch myself out to the left. "I said wait. I'm not a bad person. Why are you doing this? Look, you broke my arm… Ah."

My broken arm was fixed.

"It seems it has already regenerated." He spoke.

"Huh?"

He dashes towards me and punches me hard. It got me to step back because of the force.

"Why are you beating me?" I asked.

"..."

He's going to launch a right punch but…

"Not answering? Then you leave me no choice than--" I dodge his attack then punch him. "Fight back."

It seems my attack was effective as he steps back a little after punching him. After he stepped back, he quickly kicked me in the side.

The kick was on the left side, so I flew in my right. When I flew, I was spinning. My head hit the side of the bed, then continued to fly to the 2nd bed.

I felt the pain in my neck as if it snaps when I hit my head, but it regenerates fast.

"That hurts." I said.

I noticed that I was close to the door where I flew. So I ran into it, but he noticed it, so he ran into me then when I slightly opened the door, he's trying to kick me, but I dodge to my right, so the door got kicked instead. After he kicked, he swung his right arm to hit me, but I dodge by jumping across the bed.

"You're really not going to let me leave? It seems you're the bad guy here." I said.

"..."

I went to the middle, then walked back away from the door.

My plan was to make him forward to me so that there's a gap behind him, I can pass through.

He went forward. After some distance, I rushed to him, and he launched a right punch, but I dodge it, so I got past him. But he quickly turns around and grabs me, then throws me to the left. After I flew, he immediately rushed toward me and launched an attack, but I dodge it then jump across the bed. When I jump across, he quickly pushes the bed to make it tilt and fall. So I stay in the middle to dodge the falling bed. After the bed fell, he punched me, then I flew and bumped some beds that fell earlier.

"Aah…" My voice.

I felt pain in my whole body, but it's slowly fading thanks to my regeneration. After regaining my strength to move, I stood up and went to the middle.

I'm trying to catch my breath. "Come on!" I said.

He went close to me and launched a punch, but I dodged the punch. But it failed 'cause he kneed my stomach. I quickly step back. He dashed towards me to punch, but I dodge it, or so I thought…

I suddenly stepped back again as I felt some force and pain in my face.

"Huh?" I said.

I'm sure I dodged that attack, but why does it feel like I got punched?

I dash towards him, he launches an attack, I dodge it… but I got hit by something again.

"How?" I said.

I dash again, he launches an attack, I dodge it, and again I get hit by something.

I dash, he attacks, I dodge, I get hit.

I don't know how many times I got hit, as I already beat up. But in every attempt, I can seem to see what's going on. Little by little as I dodge and get hit over and over, I notice that every time I dodge his attack, there's a hand to attack me. To make sure, I attempted it again.

Now I'm convinced. Another hand appeared when I dodge his attack. It's not his other hand, it just appeared out of nowhere. After I got hit, the hand that appeared vanished instantly. Now that I know it, I'm going to attack again.

I dash to him, he attacks, I dodge it then there is another hand that appears out of nowhere, I dodge it successfully, and I attack him. He got hit.

"It works." I said.

Now that I know his ability, it's time to counter back.

I attack him multiple times and I keep dodging his attack. I don't know how many times, but… it didn't last long.

When I attacked him again, after dodging his 2nd hand, a 3rd one appeared, and I got hit.

"Huh? There's another one?"

Because of that now I barely hit him. I tried and tried again, but I failed. He has a third hand plus he had it with both hands' means I got hit 6 times.

We've been fighting for, I don't know, and I already beat up really badly. My body can barely move. So I gather my remaining strength to attack him one last time.

I dash towards him, he attacks, I dodge, his ability, I dodge it, last one, I dodge it. I mustered my strength to my hand to launch an attack. But… he head bumped me. And those I fell and lost consciousness.

Shin wakes up.

After waking up, I was on a bed in a different room.

There's someone sitting beside the bed I was on. Its head was laying on the bed I was on while sitting in the chair.

"Who's this? What happened?" I mumbled.

I look at the person. It was a girl.

"It's a girl… If this person, a girl and I'm in a different room, it means this is the girl's side."

"Nngg." The girl waking up sound.

She raised her head and rubbed its eyes.

"Um… hello." I said.

"Hel-" She yawned. "-lo… oh, you're already awake."

"...um… what happened?"

"Oh that, Dad, brought you here."

"Dad?"

"Yea."

"Who?"

"He's big and bald."

"Logan?"

"Yeah, that's my Dad's name."

I told her what happened.

"Sorry again for what my Dad did. He's not a bad person. He only looks scary."

I get off the bed.

"Now that I'm ok, I guess it's time to head back. What time is it?" I said and asked.

"It's already 5pm."

"Wait what!? I've been asleep for 2 hours?! I need to hurry."

"Wait."

When I was heading to the door, She stopped me, I think.

"Let's go down together."

"Huh? Why?"

"I will make Dad apologize to you."

"Already said it's fine. And you already at least apologize on his behalf."

"No, it's not enough."

I sighed. "Fine."

"Then let's go."

And those, we went together down there.
