A gust of wind came, bringing with it smell heavenly enough to make even the most emotionless person droll.

The white smoke rose in the sky, acting like a beacon for hungry predators.

With a smirk, he took a sniff of it.

The texture, the softness, the way it melted in his mouth; everything was to the point that it made Yun Che want nothing but to continue eating it!

As if he hasn't eaten anything since birth, he gulped every single piece of meat that he cooked in front of his eyes.

Satisfied, he looked towards a certain direction and his eyes glowed. There, he saw Chu Yuechan sitting in a lotus position with a frown on her face. It looked like she was having a hard time trying to control herself.

Seeing this, Yun Che shook his head.

Before eating, he had invited her to eat with him but she adamantly denied him.

And now she was having a hard time controlling herself.

Patting his chest and feeling his heart calm down, he returned back towards the building of the crucible while explaining.

"I'm trying to create an artifact."

"An artifact?" Yuechan asked, confused. This was the first time she had heard this term. So she looked towards Yun Che with a questioning gaze.

"Hmm. Basically, it's a profound weapon."

"Oh." Yuechan made a face of realization and nodded.

Then again, a weird look appeared over her face as she watched Yun Che.

She had never seen someone creating a profound weapon, but she was sure this was not how the process should go.

'Was making a profound weapon so easy that you can create one randomly anywhere?'

Of course, this made her suspicious.

Still, she didn't go away but silently stood behind Yun Che, examining him.

Not minding her, after he was done with the crucible, he raised his palm and phoenix flames burst into existence.

Without thinking, he threw the flames within the crucible.

After throwing the flames, he picked up the bone and also threw it in the crucible; it was big enough to easily take in the bone.

Both stared at the bone within the crucible with curious gaze. Seeing it not melting, Yun Che raised his hand and fed it more flames.

In nature, phoenix flames were not destructive. As such, compared to Golden Crow Flames, they lacked comparably a lot in destruction.

To melt the bone, Yun Che could only continuously feed it with more and more flames.

Finally, after an unknown amount of time, the bones finally melt into liquid.

Using his profound energy, he circled it around the crucible and gently lifted it.

With a simple motion, a mold in the shape of a small knife appeared in his hand which he placed on the ground, before filling it with the liquid bone.

"Can you blow some of your ice's profound energy into it? Don't freeze it, just lower the temperature enough for it to not lose its shape."

Curious, Yuechan nodded.

She raised her hand and waved gently, a burst of ice profound energy traveling towards the knife and cooling it down.

Seeing that it held the shape of a knife, Yun Che took it out of the mold and took a hammer out of the Sky Poison Pearl before starting to hammer the knife. One hit, two hits, three hits.

Seeing this, Yuechan frowned.

No matter how amateur she was, due to her level, she could tell from a glance that Yun Che had no idea what he was doing! It looked like he was randomly hitting the molded bone, with no direction whatsoever.

She was not wrong, because that was exactly what he was doing.

Both of them could speechlessly stare as Yun Che raised the knife and examined it with a curious look.

Without much thought, he threw the knife back into his inventory. Raising, he picked another bone and activated his transmutation skill. The bone shone before it took the shape of a necklace, a beautiful necklace!

This time, Yuechan and Jasmine were left speechless. If the first thing could be attributed to common sense somehow, then the current action completely didn't make any sense!

How did a bone turn into a necklace all of sudden!?

The moment he put the profound core there, the exquisite lines over the necklace started to give a soft icy glow, making it look even more beautiful.

In front of dumbfounded Yuechan, Yun Che simply vanished in thin air, making her stay at her place as if struck by lightning.

"How can such a thing be possible!?"

"It's not." She jumped scared as she heard Yun Che's voice from behind, making a smirk appear over his face. "Keep the necklace. Once we are out, I'll take it back."

"..." Now she was reluctant to part with it.
