HOME WITH FAMILY

"You are a shame to me Pkadoo. You brought nothing but unfathomable shame to me and this entire family. I want you to rise quietly on your feet and return to wherever you came from."

"My husband no please. Please, don't send our daughter away like that. No matter her offenses, she is still our daughter.

We are supposed to love and cherish her.

More so, we don't know why she has come. Please don't send her away." Tabitha's mom responded to her father and rose to console the weeping Tabitha.

"And you woman, I won't tolerate you against my will. Tell your daughter to be out of my house before I return. If I should return and find her here, I will have the both of you packing." Mr Iordue thundered and stormed out of the house in anger.

Overcomed by her words, she left Tabitha and went into the inner room, then returned back with water in her calabash.

"Stand to your feet and come here Pkadoo." She ordered, her face burning with determination like a flaming rock battling with the rage of the sun.

"Put your hands on my womb." She instructed and Tabitha obeyed.

She then began to fetch the water in the calabash and pour on her head in a testament of blessing her.

"I forgive you my child. For all the shame, the pains and the troubles you have caused this family, I forgive you.

I carried you in my womb for nine months, gave birth to you and single handedly nursed you until you are now grown to be on your own.

I cannot cast you away.

Whatever you do, and wherever you go, you will be a blessing, and remain a blessing to all generations." She said pouring the water on her head.

"Amen! Amen! Amen!" Tabitha answered repeatedly in tears.

"I am sorry mommy. For everything I have done, please forgive me, and please help me plead with daddy so that he can find peace within himself." She said standing to her feet.

Her mother gave her, her words and sat on the chair in the midst of thoughts.

Few minutes later, Tabitha was heard muttering prayers in the room. When she was briefly done, she came out with her hand bag and disclosed to her mother that she was leaving.

"Leaving to where my child?

Your father must be ready to kill me today. He can't turn his back on his own child. Go back in and keep your bag."

"Mommy," She called going on her knees.

I came here for one thing; to seek for you and daddy's forgiveness, and to introduce you both to the eternal salvation, offered by our Lord Jesus Christ. Please I want you to be born again Mommy." She pleaded.

"Are you not supposed to be talking about your father forgiving you?

As for me, pray for me and ask Jesus to help me serve him, because I want to know him, since he can change you, but for now, the matter at hand is for you to talk to your father and convince him about your past life."

"Mom, I am glad you accepted the word of the Lord I presented to you. The Lord will strengthen you and help you to be established.

Since father won't accommodate my stay, I don't want this ranting to bring more shame to the family.

I promise to be praying for you. Maybe I will find a better time to be home again with you and everyone." Tabitha told painfully.

"Okay my child. I know you will do well. I have blessed you. Your life has been snatched from what it use to be. I believe the Lord will prosper your way and keep you in sound health." She prayed.

And with that, Tabitha stormed out of the house from the back yard and disappeared in thin air.

Before her mother could caught sight with her, she was only seen fading off on the motorcycle rider.

With sorrow and tears for her daughter, mama loosen an edge of her wrapper and wiped off tears.

Indeed, her husband Iordue had brought her much sorrow than needed.
