54 HAPPY MOMENT

They were already on the way home. Both were seated in the car. Axel and Kamlyn.

Earlier Ethan made a call to Axel to come pick her up since he will be busy and Louis hadn't ended his meeting.

Kamlyn was quiet as ever, her mind was not anywhere near her at this minute. Her gaze were clouded, obviously she was thinking about something.

Axel who noticed this chose to stay quiet, he would have loved to ask what's wrong but he wasn't sure she reply him. The silence was killing him and of course being who he is, he had atleast say something.

"How was your appointment with the doctor?" He slowly asked while controlling the steering wheel.

And he was answered with a small nod.

"Alright that's a good start." He whispered hoping she didn't hear him, which she actually didn't hear despite they were the only one's in the car because of her thoughts filled mind.

"Are you okay?" He asked her again.

And still got a nod as a reply.

"Okay, is the anywhere you will like to go now. I can take you anywhere you want to go."

With his words kamlyn turn her attention to him. She gazed at him for a very long time before replying with a negative nod. There are indeed places which she would love to go. But those are places which she had been with her parents and right now she wants to make life easier for her. She didn't want another episode of tears and constant weeping. Honestly she's tired.

So with a lot of thinking she replied shaking her head sideways.

"Okay, I understand." Axel completely understood her. without wasting any more time he quickly drove them home so the car went back to it's usual silence.

By the time they both arrived at the Lu mansion, fortunately Elina was at home, she quickly whipped up something for them to eat with the aid of the maids.

Right now they were seated at the dinning table, both kamlyn and Axel. Elina was also present. "How was you appointment today dear?" Elina asked her.

Kamlyn instantly picked up her tablet and started typing on it.

They were confused about what she was doing, but Elina had already gotten the gist of it. While Axel stared at her with his brows raised.

When she was done she showed it over to Elina. "It was fine, Mom." Was what was written on it.

Elina could not hold her smile, as it immediately blossom the moment she saw the 'Mom' Word she had typed into the tablet.

It actually meant that kamlyn fully accept them as her official new family.

Her expression was akin to that of a mother who was called 'Mom' for the first time.

Axel saw his mother broaden smile and was wondering what could make her smile like to that. He was wondering what was in the tablet that was shown which made her smile that way.

"What's that Mom?" His curiosity immediately kicked in as he saw that his mother was still staring and smiling at the tablet.

Since she refused to reply him, he stood and walked over to her so he could also take a peek of what she's so happy about.

When he saw what the reason for her smile was, unknowingly he smiled too.

Kamlyn was inwardly happy about Elina's reaction. She had decided to accept this people who also accepted her. They have been with her since her misfortune despite all The worries she gave them added with the grief of Thier own. Still they never once tried to give up on her. She was happy though she didn't want to show it. She quietly ate like nothing was going on.

"That's great dear will you like anything more? I can ask the maids to bring it for you, anything at all." Elina said out of joy as she dropped the tablet.

Kamlyn picked it up and started typing again. She didn't want to use just her body movement to speak with them, she wants to help herself to recover faster. So she could be emotionally strong enough to visit her parents grave.

"Ice-cream." She typed and show it to them.

"You want ice-cream?" Elina asked her.

"Yes I want brother to get it for me." She again showed it to them.

It was Axel's turn to have a happy smile on his face because obviously he was the one she was talking about. It was more obvious since she was looking at him as if she was pleading him to do it.
