57 Fifteen minutes

Morning in the Lu's started with a heart warming breakfast. Presently only Louis, Elina and Axel were present. They were waiting for kamlyn, sure enough they knew Ethan is never going to join them so they weren't expecting him.

"Is she still asleep? She should be up by now." Elina murmured underneath her breath looking upstairs expecting to see her come down.

"You should leave her to sleep more, she could be really stressed from yesterday's session." Louis spoke up.

"I know darling but she needs to recover fast and having an early wake will be a good start." Elina said worriedly to her husband.

"Alright alright whatever you say." Louis adversely gave in to her.

"Axel?"

"Yes Mom."

"Go get your sister to come down for breakfast." Elina sent him to go check up on her.

"Alright Mom."

Axel climbed up the stairs going straight to kamlyn's room. Upon arrival he knocked on the door.

"Kam? Kam are you up? Mom is calling you down." He muttered while he Repeatedly knocked on the door.

Some seconds and she wasn't out yet. He pulled the knob and fortunately the door wasn't locked. He opened it and walked in.

Unexpectedly she was still sleeping, her face so innocent and mild. "Looks like she didn't even hear me banging on the door." He whispered with a small chuckle.

Axel walked towards her, he gently started to stir her awake. "Hey, hey you have to wake up, Mom need you down okay."

His constant gentle shakes began to wake her up a little. She stirred around on her bed. And that enabled him to see her tear stained face.

Axel squinted his brows, but it wasn't a surprise. Of course he knew what made her cry all night.

He sighed, it wouldn't be good if his mother get to see this.

He hurriedly woke her more.

She woke, her eyes still clouded with dizziness from the effects of last night added plus her sleepiness.

"Come go wash up, I will wait here for you okay, Mom wants you to have breakfast with everyone. Hurry and come down."

Kamlyn nodded to him while scratching her sleepy eyes. She walked straight into the bathroom and quickly started to take her bath.

Axel quietly sat at the couch waiting for her to be done.

In less than twenty minutes she was done and dressed. They both came down the stairs to dinner by the time they arrived, Louis had already left for work. Only Elina was presently seated, half done with her meal. And shockingly another occupant who's presence was a shock to behold.

Kamlyn smiled at Elina as a form of greeting while ignoring Ethan who was also seated with them.

"Come here my darling." Elina stretched her hands her kamlyn, calling her to come sit with her. And kamlyn complied. "How is my baby girl?"

Kamlyn nodded as a reply.

The mother and daughter were in their own world with Elina putting food I kamlyn's plate and feeding her with inexplicable joy.

"Hey Bro." Axel called out to Ethan in a whisper. And the minute his turn his face to him. "Aren't you late for work?" Axel asked him. Obviously Ethan knew he was only Trying to spike him up.

Turning away from him by paying attention back to his food, He outrightly ignored him.

"Weird!" Axel mumbled under his breath. He was just being curious.

The lovely scene of Elina and kamlyn was making the atmosphere more warm.

"Mom you never fed me that way." Axel quipped in childishly getting Elina and kamlyn by surprise. While Ethan gave a bored sigh.

"You brat! what good thing have you ever done to deserve such love from me." Elina said giving him a death stare.

"Take it easy Mom, I was joking." Axel spoke up, shocked of the intensity of annoyance coming from his mother. jeez was he that bad.

Baiting her eyes at him before turning to kamlyn again only to see her smiling at them. Her smile returned too. "I like the happy you dear." Elina muttered happily.

Gaining kamlyn's attention. She mellowed her head down a little, not liking the attention she was getting.

"Come on eat More. You have an appointment today." Elina told her making her nod in response.

The sound of the chair getting rolled back echoed. Ethan had stood on his heels. "Fifteen minutes." Those were the only words he uttered before striding out of the house.

Elina properly understood. "Dear he's waiting for you, he will drop you at the hospital okay."

Kamlyn had a somewhat disturbed face looking at Elina with questions in her eyes.

And as every mother would, Elina totally understood what was on the girls mind. "Don't worry dear I will send Axel to come pick you up since you aren't comfortable with Ethan. Alright?"

Kamlyn looked at Axel and he nodded at her, she looked back at Elina gave her a corresponsive nod.
