Inside the room, the harpies cried as Jake caught them and forcefully put his soul mark in their minds. None of their attacks worked on him. No matter how much they tried to charm him with their illusions or voices, it did not deter Jake.

One by one, he caught the harpies and made them his servants. After he was done, the first thing he ordered them was to not screech so much.

''And call me master,'' Jake said.

''Master?''

''Master!''

''Master, master! Our meat!''

It appeared these harpies were still young despite their mature bodies. Other harpies would try to torture anyone they saw, but they were more focused on eating things.

Jake pulled out another bag containing pieces of flesh and threw them at the harpies. After they finished eating, the female creatures cried for more despite being full.
