5 Chapter 5: Kira.

The Ant King's fist targeted my head with so much strength that the wind was bending around his fist. I tilted my head left, feeling the air pressure brush past my cheek, and I hit him in the abdomen again. He was moved a couple steps back and I continued my assault with kick to his neck, bringing him down to his knees. I continued my combo even further by kicking him in the face, sending him into the nest ceiling.

Steam was pouring out of my body due to the incredibly amount of mana that was being created and burned. I far surpassed my limits and I could no longer supplement the wound on my chest, making it bleed profusely again. I could no longer keep up [Reinforcement] as well, so as of right now, I'm very disadvantaged.

The Ant King popped out of the ceiling and crashed on the ground. I could tell he was in the same condition as me, so I got into my fighting stance.

"This is our last round buddy, it's do or die now," I said not expecting a response but surprise surprise, "I...agree. You are...strongest...I...ever fought! If...I die...not forget...me. I...not...forget...you," The Ant King said with a raspy voice. I smiled at him before nodding, "I won't, I promise. I put it on my honor as a Sin!" I heard a system notification but I was too enveloped in the moment. The Ant King nodded and we both vanished from our places on the ground.

We soon reappeared fist to fist. We traded blows, that were only getting stronger despite our weakened states. I weaved his heavy right hook and uppercutted him, he stood his ground and kicked me in the chest. I didn't allow myself to get blown away and used the momentum from his kick to produce an even stronger punch.

The Ant King was sent rolling across the nest ground before hitting another wall. This made the nest shake violently and soon it began to crumble. The Ant King emerged from his hole and dashed forward, dodging any falling rocks in his path before shooting a punch at me. I leaped backwards, also dodging a falling rock.

The Ant King's fist destroyed the boulder with ease and we stood apart from each other once again, "How about we end this in one single attack? I don't think me or you could handle anything more than that, and this place is falling apart," The Ant King agreed and I smiled again. I turned EFR up to the max and ambient mana began combining with my own mana with such speed and ferocity that a golden light was born inside of me.

I continued to stockpile energy and this golden light only grew brighter, I looked up and saw that the Ant King was ready. I used [Flicker] one last time and we were in close quarters.

"Slothful Series: The World Will Continue To SLEEP!" I released all the energy stockpiled within and transferred it to my arm. The Ant King's final attack couldn't compare to mine and when my fist made contact with his abdomen, he was blown to pieces along with a huge amount of air pressure destroying anything behind him. Once the dust cleared a giant hole was created and nothing was left of the Ant King.

I looked at my arm and saw that it was terribly broken, I laughed and looked at the setting sun that coincidently shined through the hole I just made, "Thank you for the fight, I won't forget you." I said to myself and then everything went black.

(General POV)

The Hunters of the Korean Raid team could feel the aftershocks of Belphegor's battle with the Ant King and when they saw his final attack, they heard everything go quiet.

"I think we should go check on him," Hae-In said but Yoonho frowned, "How do we know that attack was his? For all we know he could be dead."

"Are you not willing to take that chance? So what if he's dead, we're Hunters, we go into dangerous situations all the time, it's our fucking job!" Hae-In yelled, making the team go quiet for a moment, "How can we turn our backs on the man who we knew for a few days at most, yet he still sacrificed his life for ours. He sacrificed his own life without hesitation, and saved each one of ours. So shouldn't we return the favor?" Hae-In was unknowingly tearing up at her own words, moving the team deeply.

"You make a compelling point..." Jong-In said with a sigh followed by a laugh, "Yeah, do you have a second job as a motivational speaker by any chance?" Byung-Gyu laughed. The team slowly agreed that they should go check on Belphegor so they did.

They travelled back up to the nest and found out it was collapsed, "No way..." Hae-In said in a saddened tone. The team relented and they slowly destroyed every rock in their path until they reached the Queen's Chamber.

The chamber was blocked by a giant boulder but Hae-In cut the boulder into pieces and inside the chamber was a unconscious Belphegor. His long spiky hair was a bit disheveled and his tanned skin was littered with small wounds and a large severe wound, along with his right arm being a deep purple, signifying it was broken.

The raid team sighed in relief and Hae-In sat next to his unconscious body. Byung-Gyu healed him completely but he was left with a scar on his chest and lip. After a few minutes, Belphegor's eyelids moved revealing his golden eyes, "Oh...hey guys!" Belphegor flashed a smile and the mood inside the chamber was lightened.

Hae-In, much to Belphegor's surprise along with everyone in the room, hugged Belphegor, "Thank you for saving me earlier." She said before releasing him. Belphegor laughed awkwardly, "Uhh, yeah sure thing." After that awkward moment, the raid team left the nest and Belphegor was being named a hero on the mainland, unbeknownst to him of course.

[2 weeks later, Belphegor's POV]

I woke up from my very long nap and hopped out of my tree. I stretched for a few minutes before I heard a voice, "Goodmorning Master, I hope you slept well," I was super confused on who said that and when I turned to their direction I saw an androgynous person in a butler suit standing dutifully by my tree. They had long black hair, two antenna, two pairs of dragonfly wings, and red eyes that had slitted pupils. Along with having a black sword at their waist.

"Uhh, may I ask who you are?" The person smiled before speaking, "I am the one who you fought previously. I have no name, so please, bestow one upon me Master," The person who I now knew was male said and I was honestly a little shocked. Note to self, check system notifications all the time...

"A name? How about Kira? I think that's a cool name," The person, now Kira nodded before saying a speech, "My name is Yoshikage Kira. I'm 33 year-," I put my hand up to stop them, this speech was going to take forever.

"For now Kira, can you go back to wherever you popped out of?" Kira bowed deeply before turning into red particles and entering my chest, that's cool...I guess.

'Hey system, can I get can explanation for that whole fiasco?'

[That person, Kira, is what is known as a Vassal. Think of Vassal's like familiars, they're apart of your soul and conform to your domain]

'My domain?' Hold up what?

[Yes, not only are you the King of Sloth, but you are also the King of Humans. Anybody that becomes your Vassal, if they're not already human, will become a mixture of their previous race and Human, essentially becoming half human]

'Whole load of information, my brain is frying...' I could see the smoke coming out of my ears, this made me want to sleep...

[Fret not host, I have something that will garner your attention. Off the coast of the mainland, there is an underwater dungeon that is on the verge of becoming a dungeon break. It is too deep for human instruments to measure, and if it does break the humans will never see it coming, so please, take care of it]

Finally, something that I can understand! I had the system show me the location and I stood on the sandy beach, "Damn, how am I going to get there?" At that question, Kira came out of my chest.

"Master, I can fly you to your desired location," Kira said with a bow and I took him up on his offer. He picked me up and we flew above the water pretty fast. After around 15 minutes, we were above the dungeon location.

'How deep is it?'

[It isn't deep, it's very well hidden]

That didn't answer my question but oh well. I had Kira drop me and I was soon submerged in water. The system was leading the way to the dungeon and it was right, this thing really is well hidden. It was inside of a complex cave system that I only travelled through due to the system.

Now you also may be asking, how did I survive without air? Well, I don't necessarily need to breathe, I do it because I'm used to it. Anyways, I entered the dungeon and I was underwater but there was a giant fucking shark headed my way.

I didn't even get to kill it because Kira came and diced the shark into tiny pieces.

'Kira, I want you to take care of all the small-fry, I'll go fight the boss,' Kira nodded and we swam our different ways. After a few minutes I was in front of the familiar giant stone doors and when I pushed them open, a giant water dragon was waiting for me.

It roared and I instinctively activated [Reinforcement] along with my new skill, [Dormancy]. [Dormancy], made golden lines of power travel across my skin and I used [Flicker] to get in front of the dragon.

It swung it's giant claws but I dodged them with ease and I punched it on it's head. With the amount of power I had stockpiled due to [Dormancy], I felt the dragon's skull crack and it died with a single blow, how disappointing.

[You have leveled up x5]

[You have gained the following skills: Dragon Tongue, Water Manipulation]

At least I got something good out of it...
