10 Chapter 10: Mission Impossible

John tried his best to understand why he existed in the simulation universe. Still, as the system kept quiet, any guesses were pointless.

Seeing John continue to go on about it, the system finally had enough. It said, "You shall be able to access this knowledge when you get as strong as the strongest God of destruction."

Hearing this, John felt at a loss but quickly recovered as he believed that although that day was far away, he would get there one day.

John then remembered how this entire simulation was a way to teach him a lesson.

He recalled how he wasted this excellent opportunity in exchange for Kaio-Ken and felt pain in his liver.

Maybe by just the second simulation, he would have reached a level that thousands of simulations wouldn't allow.

He then calmed his thought and felt things were coincidental, so maybe the system forced things to look grander than they would have been.

This thought calmed him down. He then decided to start the third simulation. Although he was now a man with a power level of over 9,000 (12,700 to be exact).

He had a goal now to unlock the mystery surrounding his appearance in the simulator. Maybe it's a big conspiracy that he may face in the future.

<Detecting Host's Mental State>

<Currently at 60% Mental Health>

<It is safe to do one more simulation>

<Starting the third simulation>

<Spinning the Universal Wheel>

<It's Universe 1>

<Spinning the Race Wheel>

< It's The Frost Demon race>

<Detecting Timeline Mutation>

<The host has 10 years before Hail is born. He shall go berserk and kill the entire race.>

<Running from this event is equivalent to quitting the simulation>

<If you die in this event, you shall receive no added fate points. Successfully defeating Hail will result in the gain of additional 20,000 fate points.>

<Hail power level is equivalent to 10,500,000.>

<Detecting Character Designation>

<You shall be born as Coolio, the current 4th prince of the Icelandic Empire. Your current age is 12, and your current power level is 47,500.>

<Day 1: You first decided to find out the power level of the strongest warrior in the Icelandic Empire, your father.>

<It turns out earning those 20,000 fate points is something that you can't even imagine, as your father only has a power level of 255,000.>

John - "Damn, that mission is impossible without additional items. Not to mention the technological level of this planet is abysmal."

"They haven't even built a car but rely on riding Green Lizard to get from place to place."

"This feels like the medieval periods, not to mention the absurd progress suppressing rules such as only the king's Bloodline relatives are allowed to fly. While It banned the rest from even learning to fly.''

"There is no saving these people, I think I will just train for ten years, and we shall see where we get."

<Day 30: Finding that the rumors of you constantly training and improving are true. Your father sends a summon for you.>

<He feels there is no need to train so hard. He tells you that your brother is not that powerful and that you will become the king, so there is no need to rush.>

<You have no choice but to mention that you had a vision about Hail. Your father doesn't take you seriously but says it was a nightmare.>

<That day after you leave your father's room, he calls in a trusted minister and tells him to keep an eye on Coolio and make sure he doesn't get stronger.>

John - "My father's a complete coward. He saw my power level improve through training to 62,500 and felt threatened by me. This mission is really bullshit."

"I am not even training for it, but somehow, I still got implicated. I guess the only option is to run away from the palace and then hide to continue to train."

"It really was the right decision to first practice how to hide my Ki. I did it in case of an alien invasion, but as it would seem, my biggest problem was my own dad."

<Day 35: You go missing from the palace, and the king goes into a panic. He orders all his subordinates to find his beloved son and bring him back (Aka, shoot on sight but bring back the body to verify.) The capital city was also forced into a total lockdown)>

<Unluckily for the king, you who had looted enough food robbed a wooden carriage with the finest Green Lizards and had already left the city last night.>

<Day 37: You flew with your food carriage and finally arrived at the north pole, a place the king had never even explored.>

<After all, the king is a very busy man who doesn't have time to fly around and explore (Aka, coward). He would instead send his guards to explore, but they couldn't fly and were limited by technology.>

<Day 45: Your power level is steadily rising, but you feel it is not quick enough. Which makes you wonder what could improve your situation.>

<Then a thought floats by, "What if I trained underwater in the frozen ice." You think it is a bit extreme but give it a try.>

<You practice under frozen water and find that the harsh training condition helps you become stronger faster.>

<You also realize that you don't need to breathe, so you can easily survive and live underwater.>

<Day 60: You were bored from training, so you explore an underwater cave for fun.>
