The beginning of the end

It's been nearly 2 weeks since the conversation with Marcus. Quite a bit has happened since then., most notably was the start of the inter-school competition. The opening rounds had begun and our school had swept our region at lightning speed. Every single one of the ten great club presidents dominated in their respective areas. Especially Jacob and Shirou who were dominating so hard that they began to comment on how boring it was. But that was finally out of the way and the official qualifiers had begun.

Daniel:" If we make it past these qualifiers. We have one more round against one last school and we'll be able to qualify for the main event. As of now, only half of the schools that had signed up are left. Please continue to work hard and win."

I said this as I thanked the ten presidents for their hard work and sought their continued cooperation.

Jacob:" Hopefully the competition during the qualifiers will get better. This isn't really worth my time."
