7 Chapter 007 - Hunter License (Edited)

Inside Hunter Association Building.

"Next...erm, what happened here?" The woman wearing a blue suit said.

Raido didn't bother to wake up the others. "Some crazy woman randomly attacked people, I happened to dodge and was rewarded to be first in line." Raido nodded like he was satisfied with his own answer.

"Ohh, that must be Sarasshu-sama, She goes here every month and tries to beat up the chairman," The woman replied like it was the most normal thing here.

"and you still let her to entry...You people are crazier than her," Raido said.

"Nevermind that, aren't you here to be evaluated?' The woman skillfully dodges the subject.

Raido followed the woman into the room without saying anything, it's not like it is his business.

The woman goes to the controls while Raido stands in front of a huge futuristic ice cream cone.

"I see that it is your first time to be evaluated. Just place your hand on the crystal and we will take care of the rest," The woman instructs.

Raido obediently complies and places his hands on the machine.

'Obviously no, I don't want to block It,' Raido said in his head.

"For a second the system produced an error and I thought what? is this another S-rank but then the machine fixed itself so congratulations! you are now a C-rank hunter, Here is your license," The woman declared.

"Thanks, I will treasure it," Raido got his license then left the room. There he saw a bunch of small guilds trying to recruit hunters D or above to theirs.

'Huh? I didn't see them earlier, don't tell me, they know Sarasshu will come this day so they show themself after she left,' Raido thought. He pocketed his license and approached them.

Raido knew that small guilds have higher death rates compared to the giant guilds, but that only applies to humans. Technically Raido isn't human if you know what I mean.

"Ohh, kid you like a strong hunter, want to join our guild? We offer higher income than anyone present here in the room," The middle-aged man said, earning scoffs from other scouts nearby.

Since Raido was approached by the middle-aged man first the other scouts have no choice but to wait. If Raido rejects his offer then they can intervene.

"Don't flatter me, I'm just a C-rank hunter," Raido politely said.

"It's fine, our guild needs someone like you and we have so many things to teach you, name is Dansei Chunen, Nice to meet you," Dansei offered a handshake.

"Raido Kubo…Just out of curiosity, how much can you offer me?" Raido asked after accepting the handshake.

"It really does not depend on your rank, but your ability...if you have powerful ability or healing we can actually offer more…"

Raido and Dansei talk for about twenty minutes before reaching an agreement.

"Congratulations! Welcome to the Otokorashi Guild. We will call you if there are raids available or you can call us if you want to join in on a specific raid."

Raido decided to joined Otokorashi Guild for the time being. The giant guilds in Japan only accept B-rank hunters or higher so he can't really join them.

Raido took a cab again and went back home.

At home, Raido notices that his father is peeking in the bathroom door with a perverted face.

Raido needs to pass to the bathroom before reaching the stairs to his room. So he has no choice but to pass by him.

Raido's father heard his footsteps and looked at him without expression.

"Father," Raido said monotonously.

"Son." his father replied with a chad look.

Raido slowly approached the stairs then headed to his room.
