1 Prologue

Alternate Name: Simping for the Girls of HI3rd While Traveling Through Multiple Worlds

Disclaimer: I do not own any series I write about or reference. They belong to whoever owns it. Which is not me.

Quik AN™: If anyone here has read one of the various novels written by Ruqing Rusu(如倾如诉), that's basically what I'm hoping to emulate. Without the scummy MC. Hopefully. No 18+ content, nor will it be implied. That's about it. Let's get on with the show. Will be cross-posted on FFNet. Maybe. Having trouble with the formatting over there.

"... The servers are closing?" Lin Fan mumbled in disbelief. Scrolling back up to the top of the page he glared at the bolded words. Finished with reading the notice Lin Fan jumped to his online messager app sending a message to the Honkai Impact fan group he was a part of.

[SirinSimp]: Did you guys see the notice?

[TunaLover]: I only read up to "Notice of Discontinuation of Service" and couldn't see the rest through my tears.

[Bronya∆]: The Bronya thinks annihilation of the game developers is required.

[#1 Cutie✓]: +1

[DeadSensei]: +2

[I♡Vodka]: +3

Hundreds of other messages flooded across the screen, but Lin Fan just sat in shock seeing that it was true.

"They are closing the game to focus on other projects? I can't believe these bastards!", enraged he messaged everyone in the chat group to meet up outside the game's headquarters to petition for the continuation of the servers.

Many agreed and promised to head there as soon as possible. Some couldn't make it, but they promised to spread the word to their friends who could.

While this was happening, the CEO of the company was screaming at his phone while getting into his car.

"What do you mean you posted that by accident!?"

"Why were you writing an April Fool's joke a month in advance! Secondly, why were you using the official notice account!? Take that notice down now and write up an apology!" After hanging up he focused on driving steadily. About a couple blocks from the company building he heard his phone ring again.

Angrily answering the phone with a loud "What now!?", he paled from the answer on the other end.

"Sir, the servers are being overloaded. We speculate someone is using a DDoS attack in retaliation to the notice. We can't post anything or delete the previous ones."

The CEO slammed the end call button to focus on hurrying to the company. A single street away from his destination he noticed that the last light just turned yellow.

Pushing on the accelerator, he vowed to fire the one who caused this mess. This promise wouldn't be fulfilled by him, but by his replacement.

Speeding through the light, he failed to notice Lin Fan jay-walking behind the cars on the other side.

Slamming into him at nearly 75 MPH, the CEO failed to realize he wasn't wearing a seatbelt until it was too late.

Flying through the windshield before his airbags could even eject, he hit the asphalt rolling nearly a hundred meters before stopping in a pile of broken limbs. Lin Fan was rather lucky in comparison, he died on impact.

A ROB, who saw everything from a void-like space laughed until his sides hurt.

"Hahahaha! It's been a while since I've seen something as ridiculous as that. Poor kid, died due to an April Fool's joke. How pitiful."

"The least I could do is give him a reward for making me laugh. Even King's rewarded their jester if they made them happy, why wouldn't I?"

The crazed looking man, started rummaging around his pockets pulling out some rather indescribable things. One looked like a writhing masses of tentacles, while others didn't seem to have a distinct shape.

"Ah, found one." ROB smiled at the pure white mass of energy he was holding. "A blank system template. Perfect."

Throwing out his other hand in a seemingly random direction, he willed Lin Fan's soul to him. After firmly holding both the energy mass and Lin Fan's soul in his hands he clapped them together faster than any eye could see.

"And done. Now what type of world should you go to?" humming in thought ROB eventually decided to leave it to luck and threw the new conjoined existence over his shoulder.

Falling through the void, the white clump of energy that was added to Lin Fan's soul turned into a kaleidoscope of colors. Shortly after, the mass fused into his soul settling deep within what many would call the dantian.
