Rage

"Let go of me!" Lucia roared as she tries to remove Cassian's hand from her throat. The man, on the other hand, stood and looked at her in amusement before he activated his ability.

Lucia was surprised to see the stranger's eyes glimmer in a similar way to Avery's. Now she is finally piecing up how no one has come to stop him. Maybe he already took care of them, every one. She heard they aren't normal after all.

Now, shall we find your young master?" Cassian whispered at her. He then grabbed her while following where Avery's scent is more prominent. Lucia tried to fight hard but she easily get swept away regardless. They ended up in his room where Cassian dropped her on the floor. He walked near the couch of the room, the scent leaves the memory of the other four staying in that room hours ago.

"So they were all here? Where are they now?"

Avery and everyone inside his car are in constant distress trying to arrive back home. It grew much more when they reached the gate and they saw several of the security personnel lying on the floor. Avery's heart raced, even more, when they stopped to check on the people.

Alana picked up one man lying on the ground, he was groaning in pain and could barely move. "What happened here?" Alana asked. The man tried to speak, "There were monsters… with those eyes…" he trailed off. It was enough for them to learn what is going on.

"We happened." Cassio, who has been standing at the side, watching them, finally spoke aloud. She immediately caught everyone's attention, particularly Owen's. He even pointed at her in rage, "You!" he took a few steps toward Cassio to confront her, "And I thought I found a really nice girl in this city. In this life!"

Cassio couldn't help but smirk at Owen being overly dramatic, "I really am a nice girl, would you take me out on a date?"

Owen was crimson red, "I don't date crazy girls like you." they both clenched their knuckles facing each other, "Go inside, I think I can handle this." Owen told everyone.

Cassio laughed while maintaining her stance, "You are terribly adorable I'd ask you out on a date next time."

"Adorable? What do you mean next t-" Owen was not able to finish his sentence because he immediately fell to the ground, knocked out, after one kick in the jaw by Cassio.

For the second time around.

All of them who were watching the entire thing groaned as they saw Owen. They were also surprised at how quickly Cassio did it.

Alana sighed, she stood up in a stance that seemingly challenged Cassio, "You guys go ahead inside, I will handle this." she subtly looked back at Jolene, Avery, and Kiel. The three all nodded in agreement. If there's anyone better suited for this fight, it's Alana.

"I will take care of the injured people here, make sure they're fine." Jolene volunteered. They all nodded at each other in agreement. Kiel and Avery sprinted immediately toward the manor.

Cassio, who had heard and seen everything smugged and glared at Alana who was left alone to face her, "I have been trained all my life for this and you think you can take me down?" Alana smiled back, "Well, so am I. Let's see who's better trained." She then ran to Cassio to attack.

Avery and Kiel hurriedly ran into the manor. "Lucia!" Avery shouted. The whole place echoed but there was no response. The entire place was empty and no one seemed to be coming. Avery activated his ability and started smelling trails of Lucia– Cassian's scent was also there.

"Follow me!" he hurriedly told Kiel as he ran towards Avery's room.

The door was left ajar so it didn't take long before they see Lucia, closely beside her was Cassian, showing his strikingly sharp teeth in the corners of his devilish grin. "There you are!" he greeted, glaring straight at Avery.

Instinctively, Lucia tried to run towards Kiel and Avery but was immediately grabbed in the arm by Cassian, "And where do you think you're going?" his whole composure quickly changed from when he was smiling a few seconds ago to fearsome and mad.

"Let go of Lucia." Kiel calmly, slightly lifting his hand up.

Cassian chuckled, "Pretty bold of you to think I'm going to let go of any of you."

Kiel gritted his teeth and subtly looked at Avery, "Save Lucia, I will handle him." Avery nodded. Both of them looked fiercely toward Cassian before Kiel finally sprinted to Cassian. Avery immediately followed after, aiming to go to Lucia.

Kiel instantly managed to tackle Cassian into the wall, both of them groaned after the impact but Kiel did not stop there. They then stumbled into the table nearby until they both rolled onto the floor. Kiel is a few inches taller and has a slightly bigger body built than Cassian so he managed to pin him down on the floor.

But to his confusion, Cassian roared in laughter after he slammed him on the floor…

"Lucia!" Avery shouted as he pulled Lucia away from Cassian. He managed to do so at the right time before Kiel clashed with Cassian and slam him on the wall. They were both stunned at seeing the two fight, although Kiel has a visible physical advantage, there is something that Avery couldn't exactly point out about Cassian that makes his spine cripple in fear.

Held Lucia's hand and gripped it tight, "We have to go." he firmly said before pulling Lucia away from the commotion.

"Wait, are we not gonna help Kiel?" Lucia worriedly asked.

"We cannot help him, Lucia!" Avery shouted in frustration. Seeing Lucia's surprised and frightened face, he tried to calmly explain, "Listen, Cassian is different, we don't know what he's capable of."

"He has the same ability as you, Avery!" Lucia blurted out, "And Kiel has no ability, he told it to us last night."

Avery and Lucia intensely looked at each other, both of them clutching each other's arms. Avery is starting to consider that maybe Lucia is right, maybe he can help. He can fight against Cassian.

But all of that changed when he saw something flying toward him…

"What's so funny Cassian?" Kiel shouted at Cassian's face. He couldn't understand why he is obviously dominating the fight but still feels like his opponent is just toying him.

He punched Cassian right in the face that its nose bled.

"Fine! I'll stop laughing!" Cassian folded, "I just can't help it! You fight well." he wiped the blood under his nose, "and damn you punch hard!"

Kiel wasn't responding to what he said, he is still keeping guard in case Cassian tries to let go of his pin on the floor.

"You could be an excellent weapon if you were properly trained, you fight like a wild animal! It's really a shame that you had to end here." his eyes glimmered in purple right after saying those last words.

Cassian then starts to stand up and no matter how hard Kiel tries to hold him, he was no longer strong enough to overpower him. Cassian punched him back in the face.

It was like he was fighting someone new and stronger.

Kiel groused in pain when Cassian suddenly held him in the throat and stood him up. He tried to fight him off to let go of his choking but to no avail.

"Hmm, I'm so focused on you. You thought I'd forgotten about your friend?" Cassian menacingly smiled at him, its glimmering purple eyes striking.

With his other hand, Cassian pulled a spear-shaped blade right at his ankles, "Did you say bye to your friend?"

The last thing Kiel saw is the blade flying in Avery's direction.

Avery saw it coming too and was frozen, everything is happening fast.

"Avery!" Lucia did not hesitate and immediately hugged Avery and shut her eyes.

The blade flung to Lucia's back, Avery was abacked, he pulled Lucia away from him to see her face.

She was intently looking at him, mouth slightly open, she touched her chest and felt a small tip of metal. It was the tip of the blade, piercing outward. It then began to bleed from her chest too.

She fell to the floor but Avery caught her and held her in his arms, "No, Lucia no! Stay calm, I will call a doctor! It's fine if I keep the blade on… you will not bleed out…"

"I guess I won't be able to come with you, and to our new friends." Lucia softly said in spite of being in pain, tears flooded her face.

"Do not say that, you will live Lucia. Don't you dare…" Avery was not able to finish his sentence because Lucia already lost consciousness.

Avery then looked up at Cassian, who was still grabbing Kiel in a chokehold. His thoughts blurred out and his eyes glimmered in purple. He laid Lucia and walked towards Cassian.

"Oh, here he comes." Cassian casually said, pertaining to Avery, "I'm sorry I accidentally–"

Avery gave him a massive blow in the face that he flew off to the wall once more, he also dropped Kiel on the ground and it started gasping back for air.

Cassian held his face in disbelief, he looked back at Avery who simply looked out of his mind, Avery is again walking in his direction. He stood up to fight, Cassian would hit Avery in the face, and he knows it hurt, but Avery did not stop hitting back, breaking any stuff he tries to throw at him, he would give several punches and hit Cassian, he is also doing it in an unbelievable strength.

Until Cassian has had enough, he knows Avery is so angry he got fixated on killing him. He immediately climbed to a window, "I will still have other time to kill you two." he told Kiel and Avery before he jumped out of the window.

Kiel, who eventually recovered, tried to run after him but he suddenly heard Jolene scream. He looked back and saw Lucia, drenched in her own blood.

"Call for help! Anyone!"
