9 - Part C:

Yawn*

My eyes is starting to get blurry.

Maybe I should take a break.

I get off my study chair and accidentally stepped on something.

Rustle*

I look at the thing step on, and it was the wrapper of the roasted peanut that I ate earlier.

I look at my study desk it was full of junk like crumpled paper and crumbs from the food that I ate.

Now that I think about it, my room is quite in a mess.

I should send a cleanbot over.

I took out my cell phone that was on my study desk and turn it on.

As I look at the screen, I saw the current time and it's seven in the morning. I must have done an all-nighter.

(Note: Linel is in a giant ship that travels in space so he doesn't know what time of the day it is unless he checks the time.)

Strangely I don't feel exhausted nor sleepy. Looks like the energy boosting stuff works like a charm.

Growl*

And now I'm hungry.

Better get some breakfast then.

Since there's no uninet, I cannot use the school app where I can instantly call over a cleanbot. So I send a text message to gramps to send a cleanbot over.

After that, I put my cell phone in my pocket and left the room.

I went to the cafeteria to get some breakfast.

As I enter the cafeteria, there weren't many people here. More like the cafeteria is almost empty. The only people here are the cafeteria ladies and some teachers.

"Good morning Bat Man!"

Clarissa greeted me cheerfully.

Clarissa is wearing simple clothes which is a yellow shirt and red shorts.

The only thing that stands out with her outfit the pink fluffy apron with frills that she usually wears during her club activities and that red ribbon that resembles a bunny ears on her head.

Despite her simple get up, she looks cute as always.

"Yeah morning!"

I greeted CLarissa back.

I grab a tray and start grabbing some food.

As I reach Clarissa...

"How's your studying Bat Man?"

Clarissa asked me.

"Well apart from extreme boredom, I'm doing great so far."

I said to her.

"Ha ha ha! You're such a kidder Bat Man!"

"I'm actually serious but thanks for the complement."

Suddenly Clarissa becomes flustered.

"S-so Bat Man... If you need any help in studying, I can tutor you if you want..."

A tutor from Clarissa sounds good since she's a second year but I might end up getting distracted because it's Clarissa.

She likes saying embarrassing stuff that makes me flustered.

"Thanks for the offer, but I'm the do it yourself type when it comes to studying."

That's actually true since I attended home schooling until I reached high school. So I'm not use to studying with other people my age aside from Luna. By the way, Luna doesn't study at all and just play around all day.

"I see... I-if you change your mind Bat Man, just call me..."

Call her huh... Wait! I don't have her number yet.

"But I don't have your number yet."

I blurted out what's on my mind.

"Oh! R-right!"

Clarissa takes out her phone and fidgets with it.

Bvvvvt*

My phone vibrated from my pocket and I took it out to check the notification.

I received a text message from Clarissa.

It says, "Hi Bat Man! It's me Clarissa♥ I hope we become text mates ^_^"

I save Clarissa's number on my phone book.

Wait a minute!

"Where did you get my number?"

I ask her what was on my mind.

"Oh your number? I got it from your uncle Professor Huck. He's my class advisor, and he announced it during home room."

So that's why I'm receiving random text messages from unknown numbers.

I thought they were syndicates.

I better ask uncle Huck where else did he spread my number later.

"I see... I'll surely text you on my free time so see you later!"

I said my farewell.

"Bye bye Bat Man!"

Clarissa responded cheerfully.

I went to the next counter.

As I did, I hear someone teasing Clarissa.

"Oh oh? Flirting with a first year early in the morning."

"Th-that's not it Feini!"

"Really huh... Then why is your face so red?"

"I-it's red!?"

"Oh Clarissa your so cute♥ If I were a boy, I would eat you up!"

"Don't say embarrassing stuff like that Feini!"

"So cute♥"

"F-Feini!"

Alright! That's enough eavesdropping for one day. Now time to wrap this up.

I got the rest of the food I want and sat on a nearby table.

I start eating my food.

This cream mushroom soup is so damn good!

"Hey first year! Is this seat taken?"

I look towards the person who said that.

It was a girl with long brown pony tail hair and brown eyes. She's wearing a green jersey that made her look like an inverted tree.

I look at the empty tables around me.

I look back at her and she got a suspicious grin on her face,

She is definitely gonna be troublseome.

"It's taken."

I said to her trying to shoo her off.

"Aw don't be like that!"

In the end she took a seat.

Why bother asking?

"I'm Feini Zayongi a second year."

And she started her self introduction.

"I'm Clarissa's childhood friend and roommate. Please to meet you!"

I can feel the so-called school spirit from her self-intro. It must be the jersey.

Since she gave her self-introduction, I should give mine as well.

"Linel Silvercrest, first year."

"I know! You're the principal grandson after all!"

She said like she was stating the obvious.

Oh yeah, I forgot! Because of gramps' "surprise", the whole school knows me.

It must have been a month since that event.

"So how far have you gone with Clarissa?"

Cough*

Her question almost made me spit out my drink.

"Was I too blunt?"

I didn't answer and continue eating.

"Oh not the friendly type I see."

I ignore her and continued eating.

"Ignoring me huh... Wait till you see this!"

She takes out her cell phone and shoves it on my face.

She said like a shady cop who's trying to bribe a suspect to confess.

"Feini!"

Clarissa, who was at the food counter earlier is now beside us.

Reimi quickly hides her cell phone and plays dumb. (Note: You probably already know that Linel sucks at remembering people's names when he first meets them.)

"Ah what's up Clarissa?"

"Don't you what's up me! You were showing Bat Man my..."

Clarissa became flustered.

"My what?"

Meini still plays dumb.

"Y-you know..."

"You know what?"

"My dirty pictures..."

Clarissa said like she was whispering.

"You're what?"

"My dirty pictures..."

"Sorry I can't hear you."

"MY DIRTY PICTURES! Huff* Huff*"

Clarissa screamed in a cute manner.

Looks like Rainy has what it takes to become a cop.

"Hey first year! Did I show you anything like that?"

Barney said with a mischievous smile.

Since Clarissa was looking at me, she didn't see her smile.

If I lie to Clarissa, I would feel really guilty so I decided to-

"Aw!"

Someone stomp on my freaking foot!

"Are you alright Bat Man?"

Clarissa showed her concern.

"Y-yeah..."

I said to her while I was still groaning in pain.

After that, I look towards the most probable suspect who did that but she's already gone.

"She ran away..."

I blurted out.

"Huh?"

Clarissa looks towards the empty seat where Amy sat on.

"FEINI!"

Clarissa shouted and runs out of the cafeteria.

Now that's over!

Time to finish my breakfast.

This butter roll is so damn good!

Oh yeah! I should contact that girl Feini later to get those pictures.

After I ate my breakfast, I return to my room in order to continue studying.

Since I'm still pumped up with energy, I decided to study the whole day and rest up tomorrow.
