8 - Part E:

It's our last period which is General studies. Everyone is in a sour mood because of what happened during the last round. If only Wren followed orders, we would have a chance of winning. I bet everyone's thinking the same. Ms. Diana seems to get what was going on and didn't call anyone for recitation. She's really a kind and understanding teacher. Good thing she's our advisor.

Ring*

"That is all for today class! Don't forget to do your assignments. Good bye everyone!"

Ms. Diana said as a farewell.

"Goody bye Ms. Diana!"

Everyone said as a responded unenergetically.

After that, Ms. Diana left the room, and everyone prepares to leave.

"Before you all go I want to say something first."

Ace said to everyone in as serious manner.

Everyone turns towards her.

"I thank you all for doing your best in today's match against class 3.

As for Wren..."

Ace turns to Wren and approaches her.

"You jeopardize the whole class with that arrogant attitude of yours!"

Everyone cannot deny what Ace had said to Wren because everything she said was true.

"Why didn't you just simply follow orders?

Wren didn't answer Ace and continues lowering her head.

"Answer me!"

Ace shout out of frustration while demanding an answer.

Aeris approaches Ace and tries to stop her.

"Ace I'm sure Wren already understands what she did wrong. So could you please forgive her?"

"Forgive her?! Aeris you're too kind! People like Wren needs to be taught a lesson! Better yet we need to crush that ego of hers!"

Ace with full of anger.

I wouldn't deny that either. People like Wren needs to be taught a lesson.

It seems like everyone is in agreement.

"Now tell me!"

Ace turns back to Wren.

"Why didn't you follow orders and defend Linel like you supposed to?"

"I-it's because..."

Wren who was about to explain suddenly gives up midway.

"Because of what?!"

"..."

Wren didn't answer Ace question.

"If you don't want to answer, then I'll answer it for you!"

"..."

"Is it because you hate Linel that's why you left him defenseless?"

"..."

"Or is it because you think your better than all of us that's why you did what you did?"

"..."

"Which is it?!"

"..."

"Stop acting like a spoiled princess and answer me already!"

"I HATE LINEL AND I'M BETTER THAN ALL OF YOU! HAPPY NOW!"

Wren said while bursting in anger.

That was my first time hearing her say my name.

"Y-you!"

Ace raises her right hand and was about to hit Wren.

I know Ace have every right to hit Wren after hearing her say that and I'm pretty sure anyone who was fed up with her will do so.

A hit from Ace is what she needed but...

Wren is trembling.

I don't know if it is fear or angers but she's trembling alright.

It was my first time seeing her like this.

Before Ace lands a hit, I stop her by grabbing her arm.

"That's enough."

I said to Ace.

I don't know if it's pity or sympathy, I just have to stop her from doing it. I don't even know why I had to stop her from doing it. All I know is I just have to stop her from doing it. What drives me to do this? I don't even like Wren in the first place. We are not even close nor friends to begin with. Heck! Even during club activities we barely talk to each other nor make eye contact. What's with me today?

I just remember now. The reason why I did this it's because of what uncle Huck had said to me.

"In a team, one person's fault is everyone's fault. You cannot blame Wren for everything."

I relay the message.

Ace didn't say anything and blushes. Looks like she turned into her shy mode. I let go of her hand and she quickly backs away and hides behind Aeris. Everyone silently stares at me. Since I have nothing anymore to say, I pick up my bag and left the room.

While I was in my room, I suddenly receive a text message from Eri.

It says."You're on watering duty today♥"

I almost forgot about that. I change into my casual clothes and head for the observatory deck.

I was in the observatory deck, I went towards the shack to get the fancy looking water can. I filled the water can with water using atomic synthesis and start watering.

I remember last time while I was in watering duty, I got lazy and synthesize rain in order to do it faster. As I did that, I was harshly scolded by Eri. I remember her saying something like "Do not water the flowers half-heartedly because each flower has their own feelings. If you don't cherish their feelings, the flowers will stop being pretty. ".

I don't get what that means at all.

She's probably like Wren who treats flowers like living beings.

Pshshshshsh*

"Hey you're drowning her!"

"Huh?"

A look towards the person who said that to me.

It was Wren.

Wren is currently wearing a one piece purple dress that really looks good on her.

"I said you're drowning her!"

She repeated.

I look at the flower and the water can. The water is gushing out like a faucet. I must have put to much water in it.

"Oh..."

I said in realization.

I stop watering the flower.

"Here let me show you how to do it!"

As she said and grabs the water can from me.

"You slightly tilt it like this, so the water will go out gently."

As she said and starts watering.

Shshshsh*

"Now you try!"

As she said and gives the water can back to me.

Is this really Wren?

I imitated her.

Pshshshshsh*

"Are you even listening to me?"

"Sorry..."

"You're hopeless! Here I will show you how to do it again."

Wren grabs the water can from me again and starts watering.

Shshshshshsh*

"Now you try!"

Wren said and gives the water can back.

I tried imitating her once again.

Shshshshsh*

"There you go!"

Looks like I did right this time.

Shshshssh*

"Thanks for earlier..."

Wren said in a low volume.

Wren has softened up huh...

Better test her out then.

"Did you say something?"

"Nothing weirdo! Hmph!"

Wren said and turns away from me.

"Oh oh! Did something good happen between you two love birds?"

Eri said who popped out from nowhere.

"We're not lovers!"

Wren said in a retort.

"I see... Your highness is not expressing her true feelings."

Eri said teasingly.

"That's not it!"

Wren retorted once again."

"Oh highness you jest!"

"I said that wasn't it!"

While Wren and Eri are having their friendly chat, I left them alone and continue watering the flowers.

I wonder if I'll be able to finish this before dinner.

I heard that they're serving steak tonight.
