11 - Part B:

I slowly open my eyes and stared at an unknown blue steel ceiling. The last thing I remember was experiencing an intense migraine and being hit on the head by some metallic object afterwards. It was most probably the handle of the gun that those so called police were using to subdue us. I'm guessing the cause of a migraine is a brain jammer since the pain felt so nostalgic. I slowly get up from the uncomfortable steel bed I was lying down on and realize that my head hurts like hell.

"Ow! Ow! Ow!"

I expressed my pain while rubbing the back of my head.

"Oh good Linel you're up!"

Lokki greeted me.

"Yup..."

I said and started looking around.

"Hey hey! Take it easy. You were out cold just a second ago."

Lokki said worriedly.

As I look at my surroundings, I saw a particle beam bars on front of the room, a stainless steel toilet and a sink at the right side of the room and two steel beds on the left side.

I came up with a conclusion.

"We're in jail aren't we?"

I stated my conclusion.

"Yup! Spot on!"

Lokki confirmed it.

"So where are the others?"

I asked.

"The others are in a separated cell which I don't currently know since we're all brought here separately by pairs and there's no one beside our cell so it's just you and me here I guess."

Lokki explained.

"So we were brought here separately by pairs huh..."

I started thinking of a way to get out of here.

I try looking at the side of the particle beam bars and saw a circular touch screen panel out on the left.

"Most probably we need a key card or a password to deactivate this particle beam bars."

I blurted out.

"Oh yeah! Speaking about that, I saw the guard using a key card to activate the particle beam bars after putting both of us in."

Lokki said in realization.

"A key card huh..."

So we need a key card to get out of here. The question is how we get it.

"Are you thinking of a way on how to get us out of here?"

Lokki asked.

"Yup..."

I said in response.

"If you have any ideas, I'm all ears."

Lokki said positively.

Sadly I have no idea yet, so I don't know what to say.

I decided to do some brainstorming.

"We cannot use brainwaves here right?"

"Yeah we're in jail after all."

That one is out.

"How about our cell phones?"

"They were confiscated."

That's out too huh...

"Louise?"

"The head maidbot?"

"Yup..."

"She was taken away somewhere along with the girls."

Louise was taken away somewhere with the girls huh...

I just realize something.

"Wait! If that's the case, we don't have to do anything at all."

"Why?"

Great a question.

I try my best to explain.

"What do maidbots do besides serving us humans and dressing up?"

"Well let's see... Decoration?"

How the hell you come up with that? Though I couldn't say that out loud.

"Besides that..."

"Uh girlfriend?"

I couldn't help but to retort.

"Who in the right mind will order a maidbot to be your girlfriend?"

"I dunno? Desperate people?"

Okay, he got a point.

Maidbots are definitely cute looking girls. Some of them even have big boobs and wear sexy outfits for who knows what reason. I better stop thinking about it or might end up turning into a pervert like Mathias.

"Ah you just thought of something dirty didn't you?"

Lokki said teasingly.

"Yeah right!"

I shrug him off.

"Come on give me the dirt! We're both boys here after all!"

Alright, this is getting us nowhere. Better knock some sense into him.

"They also act as bodyguard you dumb ass!"

"Oh right! A bodyguard! Anyway, you don't have to be so mad. I was just playing around."

"There's a time for everything, and this is definitely not the time to be playing around."

"Sheesh! You're unusually cranky today."

"That's because I have a headache."

"Oh right! I forgot about that! Sorry."

Lokki apologizes while rubbing the back of his head.

To think that he was the one who told me to take it easier earlier.

"So do you think Louise could get us out of here?"

Lokki asked.

"Well she has the ability to hack into security cameras after all so she probably could hack into the security system to deactivate the particle beam bars."

Booooooovvvvvvvv*

The particle beam bars suddenly deactivated.

"See we're free now."

I pointed out.

"Great! Now let's meet up with the others."

Lokki said enthusiastically and steps out of the cell.

"You're carefree as usual."

I said and step out of the cell as well.

"That's who I am!"

Lokki said like he was complimenting himself.

"Right..."

I said in agreement.

"So which way should we go? Left or right?"

Lokki asked.

"I dunno. I was unconscious remember?"

I gave him my answer.

"Alright! Let's do this then."

Lokki said while pointing his right index finger at the wall on front of us.

Suddenly he sways his arms left and right while singing "Inny Meany Minny Moo"

After he was done singing, his index finger stops at left.

"There lets go left!"

Lokki said and goes towards the left.

I followed him as well.

While we were walking cautiously, we suddenly hear foot steps.

It must be one of the guards.

As soon as we heard that, Lokki and I leaned on the wall in order to hide.

Though I said hide, we are wide open.

Tap* Tap* Tap* Tap*

The foots steps are getting louder and louder.

If we don't do something, we surely be spotted and get captured right away or worse case scenario, we will be shot to death.

So what should we do?

Retreat or fight the guard head on?

Judging by the foot steps, it must be only one guard.

I can surely fight that guard bare handedly but how about Lokki?

Ah crap! What the heck!

I rush forward.

"Linel what are you doing?!"

Lokki said in a whisper but I ignore him.

While I was approaching the guard, I saw a familiar face.

I hit the breaks quickly before colliding with that person.

"What the hell man! You scared the crap out of me!"

It was Roc.

As soon as he realized it was me, he lowers his gun.

By the way, the gun that Roc was using is a sub machine gun that the policemen where using to subdue us.

It piqued my curiosity.

"Where the hell you get that from?"

I asked while looking at the gun that Roc was holding.

"This?"

He said while showing the gun to me.

"Over there man!"

He said while tilting his head diagonally indicating for me to look behind him.

I look towards were Roc was pointing at and saw an unconscious or maybe a dead guard lying on the floor a bit further away from our direction.

I didn't hesitate and approach the body to search for useful items that we could use.

What I found while I was doing a body search which we are thought how to do in our General Studies class is a key card, a handgun along with an extra magazine, a grenade and a blue cherry flavored lollipop.

"Huff* Huff* Linel don't just run off like that!"

Lokki said who finally enters the scene.

I stood up and turn towards Lokki.

"Here use this."

I said and toss the handgun and the extra magazine towards him and he catches it out of reflexes.

The reason why I gave the handgun to Lokki, it's because he shoots better than I do.

As for the grenade and lollipop, I decided to keep it for myself.

"So Roc, where are the others?"

I asked.

"Beats me man! I was alone in my cell after all."

Roc answered my question.

"So basically, you just wondered off and look for the others like we did?"

Lokki stated.

"Yeah man! I didn't know what else to do."

Yup... We don't know what else to do but to search for the others in this sorry state of ours.

That reminds me...

"Hey Roc is that your handy work?"

I said while looking towards the body.

"No man! He was already lying there when I got here."

So it wasn't Roc who did that which means...

"Who ever did that is probably one of us and is searching for the others like we are."

I told them my conclusion.

"Which means we should go and search for the guy who did that. Am I right Linel?"

Dead wrong.

"It means we have to continue searching for the others."

I corrected him.

"Hey man! I almost forgot! There's an intersection nearby. We should check that out."

Roc suggested.

I thought it was a good idea since Roc came from the opposite direction from us and haven't met anyone yet. I decided to go along with the plan.

"Yeah we should."

"Alright then! No complains for me either."

Lokki agreed as well.

"Follow me man!"

Roc said and walks ahead of us.

We follow in pursuit.
