Chapter 3 : TEENAGE PRODIGY

TIME SKIP 5 YEARS

After the incident, I was growing faster and stronger and smarter too.

It turns out that I am something of a mutant , I don't exactly know sincere there's no particular test to see I my powers were a result of a genetic mutation or something else.

Since there was nothing I could do, I started focusing on my education.

I received a scholarship from the government and I went to Harvard to study . Given my ability it seemed too much of a waste to study only one subject. So I took a few majors like computer science, advanced physics, chemistry, biotechnology and a couple of minors in economics, culinary and linguistics.

It took me nearly five years to complete college. Now I am searching for a job, while I received a few offers the most interesting one was from Stark Industries Research Division. While I also received a letter from A.I.M which also gave a very lucrative offer, I knew A.I.M was an organisation of anti social elements, which seemed to be true in my world as well.

Joining Stark Industries also meant protection of Iron man technology and in case of emergencies Avengers would be arriving to our rescue.

Over the period of time , I discovered that I not only had superhuman strength but also abilities of Spider-Man which manifested 2 years after the incident and not just any Spider-Man , the one who could use self generated bio electricity.Only reasonable explanation was that my abilities were still manifesting and it was the infamous spider sense that saved my ass from being crushed by a truck.

STARK INDUSTRIES

After a brief interview with my new employer. I received a good deal from their side which I accepted. I would be provided both food and shelter while receiving a pay check worth thousands of dollars every month.

I made my way to the work area . As I walked through the institution I caught a glimpse of Tony Stark, guess I'll be seeing him once in a while since i kinda work for him.

I went into a room with a biometric lock and was soon passed through a decontamination room.

After changing my attire to match the work I am about to do. I wore a protective suit that spanned the entire body. The material of the suit caught my interest and I will soon have some for personal uses.

I was introduced by my Team leader Dr.Gates, who was the lead scientist on nanotechnology. My new team of 35 scientists old and young mixed with me being the youngest.

My working hours stated at 9 in the morning to 4 in the afternoon. My job as a junior was only to check the machines working condition and help in making the NAOBOTS 's structural schematics more accurate.

After a few months of working , my work was praised and Tony Stark himself praised my brilliance. I successfully created nano bots in the shape of Hexagon and it was an incredibly successful design.

Every month i visit the orphanage and donate more than half of my salary, which being high helped the young kids who needed money for their education.

No matter where I lived , this was the only place that felt like home, I had people to love and be loved by here.

It was night time , I was back at my apartment provided by the company, suddenly I heard a huge explosion . I woke up and immediately saw through the window and found that my office building was on fire.

I hurried to the company, the fire was easily extinguished by Iron man with his fancy suit of armour , in this world he did not start using nanotechnology yet.

Even though the fire subsided , damage was already done. My months of research and hard work gone into the drain as the prototype was destroyed. Things didn't make sense , the research building of Stark Industries was set on fire , one of the safest and most advanced laboratories that were built to handle such problems without human assistance.

It seems that the explosion affected a few buildings around and the arc reactor supplying the building acted like an electro magnetic pulse and took out half the city.

So many people working to protect one another and still tragedies cannot be averted. It seems that it's high time I put my powers to good use. Like he said
