EREN FOTRIS.

15 September, 2104...

"Oh my god! It's a boy!" the midwife said as she held an innocent silver haired newborn in her arms. She looked at the mother, Mia Fotris the second strongest hero in the world, laying on the bed, exhausted, from all the pushing of child birth.

The door was immediately swung open, and in came two individuals. One was the husband, and the strongest hero in the world, Benedict Fotris and his mother, a famous Trainer, Gwendolyn Fotris. The midwife's eyes welled up with tears this was the family that had dedicated their lives to preserving humanity and saving the world from countless threats, both known and unknown. And now, a new child has been born as an heir to that legacy. Only god knows the kind of power this boy would have. As the offspring of the two strongets heroes, his powers willl no doubt, change the world.

"Let me take a picture" she said as she handed over the newborn to his father and grandmother.

They all came together and gathered around the exhausted Mia who was smiling and fondling her baby.

16 September, 2110...

"Today's the day Eren!" Mia said as she sat on the dinning table to eat breakfast with her family.

Their mansion known as the Fotress was a massive base for hero work. The compound alone was 10 kilometeres wide, and the structure in the middle was 2 kilometeres in width and 10 storeys high. The uppermost part, from floor 7 to floor 10 was the living area of the Fotris family. The remaining lower floors were for military and super hero work. Their house was nothing to scoff at. It beautiful on the inside. Painted with white and gold, the symbolic color of the Fotris family. Pink roses were strewn here and there, and trophis and certificates of achievements lined the walls.

"Yeah! I wonder what ability you would get...?" Ben said mysteriously.

"Stop it! You're making him nervous!" Mia chuckled. She looked at Eren. His beautiful chocolate colored complexion even out shined her's. His bright black eyes and silver colored hair....he was just so beautiful and cute. The innocent look and his puppy-like eyes just made you want to snuggle him all day!

Ofcourse, he took his beauty from her. She had black hair that was always tied in a pony tail. Her dazzling black eyes....no doubt, Eren was an almost exact replica of her.

Ben was white, with golden curly hair that reached his shoulders and blue starry eyes. He was the ideal man for every lady. She was glad that she was married to him.

Eren, now six years old slowly downed his milk. As he finished, there were little drpletes of milk at the corner of his mouth. He tilted his head to the side and sighed.

Ben and Mia just wanted to hug him to death. He was just so damn cute!

"Mum? Dad? What if I don't have an ability?" he asked, with his eyes laced with tears.

"Nonsense! You're our son! You will have an ability, no doubt about that" Ben said proudly.

"But what if it's a weak ability?" he asked again.

Ben was about to say something convincing when Mia said:

"No matter what happens today, you'll still be our dear son, Eren."

"MN!" Eren nodded and started rushing his food. His mouth puffed up as he chewed furiously.

Afterall, today was the day his powers would be discovered.

30 Minutes later...

The three of them were on the roof of the Fortress. A helicopter was already warming up. The wind blew Mia's hair, and her blouse swayed in the wind. Ben's hair was still very neat, despite the wind. He took in fresh air and looked at Eren. The kid was no longer as nervous as before. In fact, he was now smiling widely, in expectation.m Although Ben didn't seem worried, on the inside, he was actually fidgeting.

-What if his ability is from my lineage?- he thought. It would be fin if he took his ability from Mia's lineage. Mia's family was known for their ability to temporarily erase other's ability for a short amount of time. either through speech, eye contact or touch. Either way, their ability was ultimate when it came to restraining Villains. His family on the other hand was known for sneaky abilities, like walking through walls, invisibility, or color changing. He was able to use his powers differently because his mother, Gwen Fotris was a renowned Trainer. She specifically trained him to use his powers like an offensive Hero.

He clenched his teeth. is reputation was at stake here. That was why he didn't take his son to a school's testing ground, but a private testing ground owned by Gwen herself.

"Okay!Let's get in!" Mia said. And they all followed her into the helicopter.

They flew over the city and rapidly approached the Castle in the middle of the country. It was roughly 8 kilometers away from the Fortress. The Castle, of course, was the official Hero Training academy owned by one of the world's best Trainers, Gwen Fotris.

Eren was mesmerized by the tiny buildings below them, and the occasional cloud that they left behind due to their outstanding speed. His face was pressed against the window as he gazed down on the city.

Barely an hour late, they landed on the roof of the Castle. It indeed lived up to its name. It was a magnificent castle, made of stone.

They went down the flight of stairs.

"Ba-chan!" Eren said as he rushed towards the white haired woman waiting for them at the end of the stairs.

"Eren!Hehehe...How are you doing?" She said as she hugged him close.

"He's eager..."Ben said as he showed himself.

Mia giggled. This was the family she had always wanted.

"Ba-chan! Let's go now! I can't wait! Kayla has already discovered her ability!" Eren said impatiently.

"Oh? And what is it?" Gwen asked with raised eyebrows.

"She can manipulate ice!" Eren said with dazzling eyes. It was obvious that the admiration he had for 'Kayla' was not normal.

"Who the fu-.....Ahem! Who the fudge is Kayla?" Ben asked awkwardly.

Mia glared at him. He just smiled awkwardly, while scratching the back of his head.

Eren looked down, while drawing imaginary lines with his toes.

Mia gave him a knowing smile. Gwen was grinning too. Only Ben was left in the dark. One could literally see the question marks floating around his head.

"Let's go!" Gwen said as she turned around, her white robe dragging along. Eren promptly followed. Mia and Ben looked at each other and followed too. The truth was they were a bit nervous too.

Gwen led them past some hallways, and a few more stairs. It seemed they were going to the basement or something.

"We're here!" Gwen exclaimed as they came before a door. It was white and probably ade of titanium. They proceeded inside. Eren marveled at the sight. In the middle of the room there was a large capsule, large enough to fit an average human. It was just levitating in palce.

"Seeing how eager you are, let's get to work shall we?" Gwen said, smiling. Eren nodded. "Get in." Gwen said.

Eren looked at his parents who were holding each other. They were really nervous. He decisively went up to the imposing capsule. The door automatically opend up, and Eren went inside. He laid down... It was so soft and comfortable that he almost fell asleep right away! A white mist was blown out. As Eren inhaled, he was instantly put in a semi-conscious state.

Meanwhile, Gwen, Mia, and Ben were gathered around a screen, monitoring Eren and his condition. His mutant cells were not focused on one point, but spread allover his body, and they were vibrating slightly.

Mia's eyes sparkled. "Ben! It's similar to your ability!" She said as she jumped up, punching the air.

Although it was not what he hoped for, Ben was still happy.

"What's wong Mum?" Ben asked as he noticed Gwen frowning.

"Siri. Run diagnosis what kind of ability is this. What is the Rank and Grade?" Gwen asked sternly.

The screen rotated for a while, and a female voice said:" Phasing ability. Rank Hotel. Grade 7"

Mia gasped. Gwen's ability was the ability to walk through walls. Ben's ability was the upgraded version. It was the ability to phase through anything. But living and non living things. Gwen's ability was obviously weaker. She couldn't phase through living things and anything radioactive or with a certain amount of energy in it. In other words, if you punched her, she wouldn't be able to do anything. Even those without abilities would easily finish her off if there were no walls to secure her escape. Ben was like an upgraded version of his mother. Even if a nuclear missile was thrown at him, it would just pass through his body, let alone a measly punch. But now....Eren's ability was even weaker han Gwen's.

The ten Ranks: Alfa, Bravo, Charlie, Delta, Echo, Foxtrot, Golf, Hotel, India, Juliette. This was the Rank of one's ability. Basically, precoius abilities and superb offensive abilities would be part of the first three ranks, like Fire, Explosion and lightning would be ranked Alfa or Beta. While abilities related to construction, or healing could be ranked Beta or Charlie.

"Rank Hotel, Grade 7?!" Ben said, clenching his fist.

He turned around and left the room.

"B-ben!" It wasn't what she expected, but Eren was still their child!

Ben didn't even around. When he reached the door, he said with a cold voice. "Take him in Mom. Or else, I'll put him in an orphanage. I have no need for a weak scum! Let's go Mia."

Mia was beyond stunned. This was their son they were talking about!

"If you choose to stay, I'll divorce you!'" Ben snarled.

Mia was startled. She could only compromise. She'll come see him secretly. Now she knew why Ben had kept Eren's existence a secret. If he awakened a great ability, he would be immediately be made known to the world. But now, not a single soul would know that these scumbags had abandoned their son. She looked at Eren who was still in a deep sleep state inside the capsule, then at Ben who was looking at her from over his shoulders.

"Please take care of him." Mia said and she followed Ben out.
