110 Chapter 110

|3rd POV|

Khal Jorgo and his Khalasar march through the dense forest of the Orange Shore. More than forty thousand men marched to their destination, Stormfist. They have been raiding ten towns and villages on their way to Stormfist, all of which are the towns and villages that Volantis own.

They have killed more than a thousand people in their way and r*ped more than three hundred women.

They spend more than a month raiding and pillaging all the towns and villages they encounter; they do not know that the enemy is already waiting for them in this dense forest. In their arrogance and confidence, they did not think that the enemy would meet them directly.

When they reach a clearing in the forest, they are greeted by a thousand men pointing their 'sticks' at Khal Jorgo and his army a hundred meters away from them. Seeing the small army, Khal Jorgo cannot help but laugh.

"Hahahahaha! Is this all they sent to face me?! Are they mocking me?! Kill them!"

However, the captain who led the unit shouted before the Dothraki could even charge at them.

"Fire!"

All can hear the sound of a couple of hundred muskets being fired. The bullets fly at the Mongol Wannabe. The sound of the musket is so loud that it frightens the horses. Even the horse at the back starts to act up at the sound.

The rider starts to calm their horse, but before they can even do that, a hundred musketeers appear from behind the trees and fire their guns at the horse. A volley of bullet rain upon the unexpected army.

Not only bullets but a hail of arrows also pierce through the unexpected Dothraki. There are a total of three thousand people in this forest ambushing the enemy. As the archers and musketeers keep firing their weapons, a group of foot soldiers appears from behind them.

It was three hundred elite soldiers that Viserys led himself. They are holding a large round shield and a long spear in their hands. They are wearing full body armor and a secondary weapon in the form of a sword.

This is Viserys' attempt to create a Spartan soldier.

"Move!"

With the narrow space of the forest, the Dothraki cannot freely move their horse, and with their horse in panic, they cannot do anything but become a horse skewer to Viserys and his army.

Seeing his army being pinned down, Khal Jorgo decided to do something he always does.

"Charges! Attack those bastards!"

Move forward.

Sadly for him, Viserys knows this and already prepares something that can prevent them from reaching the first unit.

*ROAR*

A mighty roar can be heard from the sky before a torrent of fire suddenly burns any horse that passes an invisible line. This is Alduin, and he has been given a task by his father to burn anyone who dares to pass the line his father drew before. Alduin is ecstatic when his father gives him a task. He wants to make his father proud, after all. However, what makes him even more excited is his job, burning something.

Alduin loves burning something or someone.

Khal Jorgo, the feared Dothraki who commands forty thousand men, perished in battle. Not because of a sword to his neck or an arrow to his head, but because he is burned to death by a giant fire-breathing flying lizard.

Seeing their fellow Dothraki die and the giant lizard flying above them, the rest of the Dothraki start to panic. Even the rumored fearless savage will panic when their leader and fellow Dothraki get burned to death by a giant fire-breathing flying lizard, a thunder-called stick, and spear-wielding warriors.

One by one, the Dothraki start to scatter and run away from the forest. They trampled their fellow Dothraki to save their own life. They start to run away in all directions, and some of them are stupid enough to run toward Viserys and his army.

"Hold!"

Viserys and his men hold their ground as the Dothraki try to trample them using their horses or kill them using their weapons. Sadly for them, Viserys and his men are in dome formation to protect them from the arrow the Dothraki release at them.

Slowly but surely, Viserys and his men move forward at the enemy while continuing to stab anything in their path.

The fight lasted for an hour before all the Dothraki either died or ran away. Most of the Dothraki manage to run away from the forest, and they are running back to where they are coming from. Viserys puts away the shield and looks at one of the generals who is coming with him to join his unit.

"Search for the fallen. We will bury them in their homeland and not in this nameless place. Take the injured back for the White Cats to heal. Also, tell me how many of us have fallen in this battle."

While they are winning in this encounter, they did not win without a loss. Many men died from the arrow the Dothraki fired at them in this battle. Most of the people who died were the archers and the musketeers.

Viserys looks to the east and releases a sigh.

"I will leave the rest of it to you."

At the Velvet Mountain Range just north of the Orange Shore is a group of Dothraki that have just been beaten in battle. They did not know what to do without their leader and needed to regroup before a new leader could rise.

Their new destination is the Rhoyne river, where they can camp there for a good water and food source. They have been riding their horses at full speed for two days, and they are almost reaching the river. They only need to pass the mountain pass between the Velvet Mountain range and the sea.

However, instead of an empty road, they are greeted by a fortress that appears in a single night. This is Viserys' plan on how to wipe out the Dothraki that dares to attack his territory. He borrowed the plan from Hideyoshi Toyotomi.

It was the one-night castle tactic. With the help of Black Dogs, White Cats, and the engineer, they build a fortress in 'one night.' They are using a pre-cut and pre-build part of the fortress before bringing them to the location they need.

With already pre-build and pre-cut parts, they can build the fortress in one night. It was not really a one-night fortress because the part took a week to make with the help of a couple of hundred men.

It was a simple wooden fortress with a wooden wall and wooden tower, but it was good enough for the army inside to defend against the Dothraki.

Seeing the fortress in front of them, they did not know what to do now. They had been destroying all the towns and villages on their way, so they did not know where to search for food and water beside the river.

Seeing there is no other choice, the Dothraki charge to the fortress to go to the river. Sadly for them, the army inside the fortress is ready for them as they point their weapon at the incoming horde.

"Fire!"

This fight will be known as a Massacre at the Orange Shore. The outcome is obvious. A dead-tired Rider and horse who is in disarray fighting against a well-fed and well-trained army.

However, even a tired beast is still a beast.
