"Did you noticed thay new guy?" Cindy asks the group.

Their group have Anna, Jim, Cindy, Mandy, Pete and Jackson.

Only Anna and Jim were the ones belonging to an elite family but they never belittle anyone thus they have made good friends with people from other backgrounds also. They were not always about money and fame, but they are also moved by loyalty, friendship and love.

Cindy being in her normal way with her hoody on jeans with sneakers is always into gossip and boys. While Pete and Jackson are twins having same sense of humour but completely different personalities. Mandy is also a simple fun loving nerd kind of student whom Anna kept with her forcibly just because she don't want her to feel left out as no one wanted her in their group. And since the beginning of college Mandy is with them but hardy get into their parties or night out. Anna never bothered her either to do what she don't want to.

Their group seems to be perfect with the rich ones, the studious, the comedian twins, the gossip girl.

Being in the classroom on their seats they chat about this new guy named Marcel, who joined the college a few days back and there are already number of girls falling for his looks and cold behavior.

"What's this hype about this new guy anyway." says Pete.

"Haven't you seen him?" asks Cindy.

While Mandy is busy with her book, Anna is into her phone with Jim playing chess.

"Just keep gossiping about every new guy who enters the college." says Anna throwing a paper ball at Cindy.

"You are just always like this. Are you sure you are interested in guys and not girls?" Cindy says laughing.

Rolling her eyes Anna get back to her game ignoring her like always.

Jim being himself looks reserved and silent even while playing with Anna.

"What is this with this new guy that everyone is dying off?" says Anna rubbing her chin.

Jim looks at her trying to figure out what she is up to.

"I asked that new guy to join us for lunch." informed Cindy with excitement.

Everyone frowns at her because no one wants any outsider in the group.

"Where are you going?" asks Jim as Anna stands banging her hand on the table out of frustration.

"Hell! Wanna come?" says Anna in her loud angry voice. This gives creeps to everyone on the table and they swallowed down the gulp hoping she wouldn't kill someone out of anger.

"Let's go." Jim says as he gets up too.

They both left the table while others remains there. Walking in the corridors Jim asks, "What is wrong about having some new person at lunch with us? We are studying in the same place after all."

Looking at him furiously she says sarcastically, "Well then why don't you people call over all the students after all we study in the same place."

"Anna what is it to be so much angry about?"

"Jim get lost if you are going to blabber this nonsensical lecture and quiz." she says rolling her eyes and increasing her pace.

He held her hand and pulls her back.

"What?"

"There was a pen and you were about to step on it and end up falling." he says picking up the pen.

Just then Marcel bumps into him while he bows down to pick up the pen. Furiously Marcel held Jim by the collar, "Are you blind?" and raised his hand to punch him. Within the moment Anna looks at him with a frown and wondered what is so good in him? He looks like just any random guy with basic dressing and hairstyle nothing much different from other boys. He neither looks like someone having a strong background either. The only thing he has different was his face which makes him look subtle yet cold simultaneously. Without wasting a moment she knew what she had to do.

Without saying a word Anna kicks his leg hard making him go owww in pain. He left his collar looks at her, while she stands arms crossed with a cold look on her face.

"Are you blind?" she says in the same way he said to Jim.

"What nonsense are you saying? You kicked me out of the blue." he replies.

She raised an eyebrow and before Marcel could say anything more his friend pulled him back and took him away whispering something in his ear. Marcel gave a cold look to Anna and Jim as he got pulled by his friend.

"Are you Okay?" asks Jim adjusting his shirt.

Looking at him with a plain face she replies, "You were about to get punched. Why are you always so slow? Do I have to be at your rescue always? "

He smiles foolishly and scratches his head.

"Let's go home. I don't want to come across any more nonsense today." says Anna and they both moves out of the campus.

The incident between the trio went on to everyone's ears like the smell which knows no bounds. While everyone was amazed by Marcel's move, most of them were afraid of Anna's next step. All of the are aware of how cold she can be if someone puts her off.

While in the canteen everyone is looking at Marcel and gossiping. He notice everything but is not sure why is everyone so interested in him today.

"Am I looking good today or is there something else that everyone is staring and pointing at us?" he asks munching his sandwich and flipping the pages of this textbook.

"Not us. It's you they are pointing at." says Fred.

Marcel looks at him while he continues, "The way your first encounter with Anna and Jim turns out, it has become a new talk of the town here. You shouldn't have done that." he says seeming disappointed.

"What have I done? She kicked me. And yet I'm at wrong." he says throwing his hands in air.

"Marcel you are not understanding man. She is Anna and the one you were about to hit so carelessly is Jim. They both belong to elite families. I'm not concerned about Jim as he is the easy going one. But what is bothering me is how are you going to get the payback from Anna." says Fred and the worry is clearly heard from his voice.

"Are you out of your mind? What is this hype about her?" he asked.

" It's not hype man it's a fact."

" Yeah I know these kind of people. They'll just get me expelled what else can they do." say Marcel easily.

" No, they will not do so. She doesn't let go anyone so easily. She'll make your life hell if she wants and even without harming you in any sense. And she can even count this off the list, which is very not possible. "

" You are exaggerating now. It's not like she's done supernatural creature." chuckles Marcel wiping hands with tissue.

Fred shook his head because Marcel didn't seem to get what he wants to tell.

Anna seems calm while driving but Jim keeps looking at her because it looks like something is fishy.

"You are irritating me." says Anna.

"What are you thinking?" ask Jim.

"Nothing. Why?"

"What is it that you are deciding to do to him?"

She laughs and looks at him for a moment then again look back towards the road.

"You kicked him but still I feel like you are not done."

"Come on Jim. Am I some psychopath or what? I'm over with that jerk and his blabbering."

"So the case is closed for the good?"

"Yeah case closed." she laughs.

Taking a breath of relief Jim now feels much better. "She is neither smirking nor she looks mad. Maybe she is not thinking of doing anything." he thinks and let out a 'pheww'.

Days passed by while things went in routine as they usually were and slowly the gossip about Marcel being ruined by Anna also died down when she didn't stepped up.

Today being a casual day in the classroom with chaotic students in groups. Suddenly a file lands with a thump on Anna's table startling everyone around. Suddenly the noise vanished and everything seems so quiet.

Anna looks at him fiercely for how dare he do so....

" Congratulations Anna. I now realised what everyone was talking about."

She looks straight in his eyes and witnessed hatred instead of fear. She just kept munching her chips one after the other, without bothering to react to him.

Before everyone could say anything the teacher arrives and they all settles down.

Jim looking at him in confusion finds it hard to figure out why did she remain silent when she haven't done anything to Marcel.

She looks at Jim and smiles.

"He got suspended for 15 days." told Cindy on their way out of the campus.

"Anna?" Jackson looks at her while she silently enjoys as everyone assuming it to be her behind this.

"She can never do this." says Mandy.

Anna looks at her amused by her sudden response in her favor. "Why are you looking at me like this. I know you cannot do such." Mandy says calmly.

She smiles and walks towards her car bidding goodbye to others while Jim followed her into her car.

"What is with you?" asks Jim.

"Why?"

"He is being a jerk and making scenes and because if that everyone thinks you are behind whatever bad happened to him." Jim says in one breath.

"And do I need be bothered by what others are assuming?"

"Anna...!"

"Since when do I need to care about others? Or is it you who also thinks like them?"

"You know I don't."

"I know I am not wrong. Rest I don't give a damn." she sped up the car.
