CHAPTER 27

The next day

Diamond was sitting in her study. A glass of milk that remained untouched was just there on the table.

[Is there something else that you would like to know, my lady?]

Diamond was going nuts; she didn't dare sleep after the shock she received last night.

To think that she just received something that would drive multinational companies crazy, nations, and everyone if they ever set their eyes on what she currently had.

'I shouldn't let anyone else know about this, even those that I am close with. I don't know what madness will happen then.'

"Okay, let's start from the beginning. So, what did you say you can do again?"

[I will be assisting you in your daily activities, social, business, and anything that you may require.]

Diamond had prepared herself for this answer for the second time, so she wasn't as shocked as she was the first time.

"Okay, so can you do things like hacking and keeping tabs on people?"

[That's easy as pie. I can do anything for you, whether it's legal or illegal. I only listen to your commands!]

Diamond couldn't help but smile upon hearing. Didn't this mean that she didn't need to worry about financial problems or traitors anymore?

"That's good then. So, this also means that you can integrate yourself into any system that belongs to me because I will really appreciate it if you are really capable of doing this."

[Yes, I have already done that. I am linked to your personal bank account, the foundation bank account, ORANGE MONEY banking services, and chatting platforms and I can also link to any other individual you assign me to.]

"That's perfect then. I will give you instructions regarding the bank's accounts. Just keep an eye on them and make sure that no one transfers money out of the account without my approval."

[Okay, anything else.]

"Keep an eye out on all the employees and if there is anything suspicious, just notify me. Also, keep an eye out on the progress of the school's project. Are you able to do that?"

[Yes, that can be done.]

"Umm, another thing, can you do a daily report on all businesses of mine? I want to keep records on everything and it will be much better if I know how much money I am using daily, too."

[Sure, that can be done!]

"Perfect then. I have a few more questions. Can you give me some answers?"

[Anything for you, my lady!]

"Let's say I want to trade some stock; can you help me with that? To be honest, I don't have time to learn about it, nor do I have the patience to sit down and keep watch. I really need to make some money for the foundation, so can you help me with that?"

[Yes, I can do that. All I need is your permission to access your bank account and I will do everything else.]

Diamond was relieved when she heard that. Who didn't know about how stocks can make you rich overnight and also broke if you aren't careful?

With the A.I.'s help, she believed that she wouldn't make a loss no matter what. After all, a computer knew numbers and could make predictions that human beings couldn't.

"That's perfect. I will leave this in your hands then. So, another question, if you are a built-in A.I. system, can I access you anywhere when I am not home?"

Diamond was a bit scared that she wouldn't be able to communicate with her A.I. when she wasn't home.

[Yes, you can. I will link myself to your smartwatch and smartphone and as long as you need me, just call and I will be there.]

"That's cool then. You need a name; I can't keep on calling you all the time."

[That will be wonderful!]

Diamond chuckled when she heard this. At least she didn't get an A.I. that was robotic and boring to death. This one could at least talk to her and keep her busy.

Diamond thought about it for a while and came up with a name, "I will call you Andrea and A for short. Also, one last thing, don't get caught. There are some geniuses out there and they can do a lot of damage. So, take care of yourself and be careful out there."

[I will bear that in mind and thank you.]

"You are welcome."

Diamond was more than excited and couldn't help but talk to Andrea for quite longer. She couldn't help but check on what Andrea could do, and the results astounded her.

She was simply so happy that the decision to go shopping ended up getting canceled.

Diamond stayed at home the whole day and she was busy having some video chats with her family. She really missed them a lot, and she hoped to see them soon but she had a lot happening, so she couldn't see them at the moment.

Janet wasn't at home but she went home, so it was just her alone but she didn't feel lonely at all. Andrea was there for her to talk to and she could also talk to her family if she missed them.

The next day she ran around the court exercising in the morning and exchanged greetings with her neighbors.

When she was done, she went in to wash up and changed into a dress and flat shoes. She went to the kitchen, where she took out a prepackaged meal and heated it in the oven before taking it to the dining room to eat.

She listened to some soft music as she ate her food and thought of her plans for the day. She wasn't going to remain scooped up in her room. She may as well go out and have some fun like any other normal person out there.

Her friend circle was simply too poor, and she needed a change. At least befriend someone around her age and there wasn't any better way to find people than to go shopping or chat online.
