CHAPTER 190: A DATE

Kian, being the gentleman he was, asked for her hand, which she happily gave before the two were hooking arm in arm.

"So, what are we doing here?" he asked curiously as he followed where Diamond wanted him to go.

"I am famished. Let's pad our stomachs with some food and then have fun!" she responded quickly, without thinking much.

Upon hearing that, he couldn't help but look at her with raised eyebrows.

"Dear! Aren't we going to see your parents early?" he couldn't help but wonder.

Diamond chuckled softly as she raised her head to look at the man who was taller than her.

"It's not like they will run away! Have a date with me first and we will go! Besides, if we go now, are you sure that you can handle the fire until night comes?" she asked teasingly as she thought of her shameless little sister.

Her parents might take it slow, but that didn't mean that Ruby would let such a chance pass her by without doing anything.
