9 09. Hokage's Summon

The morning comes. After doing his usual morning activities, he send his clone to academy and goes running toward Kushina's house.

Entering Kushina's house, he sees a bundle of strange things in the living run.

"Sit down. Have you eat?" Kushina voice coming from kitchen.

"I have" Hoseki sit down on the floor waiting for Kushina.

A few inches later. . .

Kushina come out with a plate of buns. "Whatever, just eat. From now on just come and have your breakfast here."she put the plate while holding a cake on her hand and eat the buns.

"Thank you big sis" Hoseki follows her eats the buns.

After having their breakfast, Kushina start her teaching, "Now, we will start with the material books I have given to you yesterday, there are many raw material that is needed to makes a seal. The quality of a seal depends on the quality material and techniques that are used. The highest level is to use your own soul to make a seal which i will never teach you. It is forbidden to do so. The techniques also depends on your level of fuinjutsu understanding, knowledge and materials. Materials, techniques and knowledge are very important in Fuinjutsu. "

"Today you will learn about the material..."

Hoseki start to learn earnestly with Kushina that morning and Kushina show directly how to use the material and her family fuinjutsu. Everyday he will go to Kushina house and learn Fuinjutsu and then training in the evening. He also he keeps his clone to attend the academy and library. While it is troublesome, extra knowledge are never a bad things.

Hoseki basically under Kushina's tutelage and care. He doesn't need to worry about his foods anymore because Kushina always cooks breakfast and lunch for both of them. Kushina is a very good cooks as she dreams to be good wife. Hoseki is very happy as he feels like having new big sister. After losing his mother, the care that he receives from kushina really touched Hoseki's heart.

The same can be said for Kushina, living her a caging life with little interaction with people, the presence of Hoseki really mend her heart who is lonely without a family after death of Uzumaki Mito. While people don't treat her badly, she lives lonely life without family. While minato is a good to her, he is always out of village for missions. She is also forbade to leave Konoha. For long time of living lonely life, the presence of Hoseki really makes her happy as she gains new brother. A genius one at that.

Kushina is very satisfied with Hoseki cleverness and his attitude toward learning. Although he is a genius he doesn't slacking out and always focus in his studies.

As Hoseki absorbs all knowledge and techniques Kushina pour on him, he is also tend to create his own style of fuinjutstu and have new idea on fuinjutsu.

After done with basic practical and their studies, they goes into discuss mode on application of fuinjutsu.

With fresh new idea and directions from Hoseki, their learning styles change into deep discussion and debate. Not long after that the debate also change to new experiment to form new kind of seals.

Continuous experiment and research make Hoseki and Kushina busy over a few weeks and he forgot to sends his clone to attend academy. As he is skiping class, the report on his whereabout has already reach on the hokage's table.

The next morning, an anbu comes to Kushina house and informs her and Hoseki that they summoned to report themselves at the hokage office. Hearing hokage call for summons, Hoseki's face changes a little but still caught by Kushina.

"Tell me, why would you looks agitated hearing hokage calls for you." Kushina questioning his reaction.

"Actually, I forgot to send my clone for class when we are in discussion as there were many things in my mind. In shorts, I skips class in these few weeks" Hoseki scratches his head and look down apologetically.

"And a few weeks before.. " Hoseki tells Kushina about his interaction with hokage before.

Hearing explanation from Hoseki, Kushina fell into deep thinking, "So, did hokage sama agree to your demand?"

"Of course not, but he said he would look into it seriously." Hoseki told about hokage attitude on the matter.

"Look into it? For sure he will only looks into it forever. That kind of development would never be done without a meeting. And those stubborn old fogies will never pass that kind of development without pressures. So hokage sama won't ever brings it into meetings. In a kind of way he didn't bring it up to protect you but, this development sure necessary for village." Kushina says her opinion on this matter.

"Umm.. Kushina nee-san, you are becoming a jinchuriki and seal the Kyubi in your body to protect the village right?" Hoseki suddenly got new idea

"Yeah. Why you are asking me about that?" Kushina don't understand this sudden question.

"How much did they pay you? After all, you are protecting them with your body as a trade for their safety. They must spend bunch of money to thank you right, nee-chan?" Hoseki smile cunning after ask the question.

"That's..!! Umm...." Kushina is entering into deep thinking mode again.

{Infront of hokage office}

"Lets go in. Don't worry about it. I'll talk on your behalf. Just follow and stay beside me. Ahh. Thank you for reminding me about my situation." Kushina taking her step into hokage office.

"Hokage sama" Kushina start greeting the hokage follows by Hoseki.

The third hokage look at Hoseki then turn to Kushina. "Say Kushina, what's up with this boy? "

" Ahh old man, this boy, Hoseki keeps pestering me to teach him some fuinjutsu. So I agreed" Kushina drop her honorific and answer the question. "Is there any problems?" she as k back go third hokage.

"Problems? This boy was skipping his classes. Not 1 day, not a week but almost a month. I can still close one eye if he keeps sending his clone like he did before, but now? And you ask me if I have any problem? He should graduate first if he doesn't want go to academy or at least GET MY PERMISSION FIRST!" slapping his table while roar toward both of them.

Hoseki first reaction is to hide behind Kushina while shaking his body and his head peeks slowly toward the third hokage.

"And you boy, you can stop pretending. After all those big talk, this the determination you want to show me?" the third roar again pointing his finger toward Hoseki

"Auch!!! Loud, too loud, slow down old man I'll be deaf if you keep roaring like this. I'll explain everything. Gezz, keep your calm in check old man. You are hokage of konoha." Kushina shout with holding both of he ears with hand.

"First, I do admit that his behaviour of skips his class is inappropriate. But we have reasons for his behaviour. Let me explain from start, while I am teaching this boy fuinjutsu, this boy across some new idea direction of using the seal. We goes straight into discussion and found that it is applicable. So we spend weeks of research and experiments to build a prototype item. The experiment takes a lot of time and energy as this boy forgot to send his clone to class." Kushina explain their situation.

"New direction? You say you build a prototype item? Where is it? Show it to me. Don't try your lip service on my patient." Hokage ask in doubt.

"Old man you dont believe me do you? Although It is unfinished product, the effect is still can be seen. Take a look at this" Kushina throw her item to hokage.

"This. . . Are you kidding me?" shout the third hokage in anger.
