8 Chapter 8: Meteor And Meeting Bang

Joseph was doing his usual playing Games with Saitama but he got a call from The Association Suddenly.
"Hello is this Joseph? There is a meteor heading towards City Z and we need help come to the Association located in City Z" Said a person behind the phone, "Ok I'll be there." Joseph said ending the call
"yo Saitama I'll be gone for a while, you can stay here and play games if you want" Joseph shouted towards Saitama "You're probably getting fired…ahahaha" Saitama Exclaimed "Nah I'm heading to the association to give you a new nickname that'll be used in public" Joseph said quickly Teleporting away, while Saitama was raging.
Joseph arrived at the Association but saw that no one was there, he decided to wait a few minutes. Soon enough An Old Man arrived, "Sup old Man, Where is everyone?" Joseph asked curiously "Old Man huh! Call me Bang, you must be Joseph" Bang Said in a calm tone
"Ok Old Man, where is everyone," Joseph asked again but soon was interrupted when he heard footsteps, he looked up to see Genos "Hi, Genos you got called too?" Joseph asked but Genos replied instantly "Yes I Did, I need to test a new prototype so I decided, where is everyone?" Genos asked as well.
"Everyone in the Association has Evacuated, the Branch office is empty. We are the only S-Class heroes here." He said, "Where is everyone else?" Joseph asked this time. "They're either busy or can't be bothered to come, Summons only go out for the biggest, most impossible tasks. This is sure to be more than we can handle" he finished off speaking
"Don't worry old man, I can take care of it" Joseph said with a smug tone. "We will see brat" Bang Spoke. "If we successfully stop it, then Hero's Association will rise and donations will pour in, that all they're after" Bang continued speaking and then Turned to both of them "you should flee with those you care about," Bang said
"What about you old fellow?" Genos asked "Old fellow huh? Address me As Mr.Bang, I have a dojo here that's been passed down for generations I cannot abandon it...FIST OF FLOWING WATER CRUSHING ROCK… have you heard of it?" He said but only Saw Joseph standing there with his phone out playing Dragon Ball Legends on the phone. "It seems he's gone" Bang muttered butt turned towards Joseph "Wanna learn my martial arts," he asked but Joseph nodded no " Why so?" He asked with curiosity.
"I'm well versed in martial arts already, and my martial arts are more destructive than yours, not saying your martial art is bad, but I have something better already" Joseph Replied while still playing DBL. "HoHoHo Enlighten me" he said while staring at Joseph intently. "Old Man, Attack me With everything you've got" Joseph spoke while still Playing Dragon Ball Legends
Bang Rushed at Joseph at fast speeds and started attacking with his Martial Art but it soon proved useless as all of his attacks were getting dodged, Bang became more serious and Started to speed up his attacks but still deemed useless. He stopped and Asked curiously "what was that?" Joseph looked up from his phone finally and said "it's a technique called Ultra Instinct It allows the user to Dodge and Attacks on instinct" This made Bang Shocked
Bang was lost in thought but when he was brought out of his stupor he realized Joseph was also gone.
Genos was jumping across rooftops making his way underneath the meteor to get a good shot off and possibly stop its approach, however, he was interrupted by thrusts that were very loud. They stopped on top of a roof, when the dust and smoke cleared Metal Knight the Rank 7 Class S Hero was revealed. The Metal knight looked toward Genos "Are you the new Hero Genos? Have you come to stop the Meteor?" He asked "Yes. Bofoi Work together with me" he was hopeful to get help from a powerful hero as then there is more potential in destroying the Meteor, but was surprised when he heard the Metal Knight speak.
"No." He answered, Genos retaliated with a question "Why Not?" Genos asked curiously. "I merely came to test my new weapon, and the meteor is a perfect target" But to Genos' surprise, Metal Knight was here to test weapons and the perfect target is the meteor, he wasn't going to lend a hand. These heroes were selfish they only help people when they gain something in return thats how 99% of the Hero Society is. The Hero association won't do anything about it either, they are the same as the 99% of heroes they don't care what it takes, as long as they get their donations and the higher-ups get money.
"Test? This is not the time. You will die if the meteor hits." Genos exclaimed "No I won't, you're speaking to a remote-controlled robot, I'm a good distance away so I will not die" Metal Knight uttered surprising Genos as he fought that there was someone in that suit of armor. "And Do not call me Bofoi, Call Me Metal Knight. Hero's address each other by nicknames" Metal Knight spoke his last words before Genos blasted off on top of a taller building.
"This is The Spot" Genos said looking up into the sky at the meteor, until he heard the Robot talking again "LAUNCH MISSILES!!!" Metal Knight said while launching 8 destructive missiles at the Meteor. The Missiles caused a huge mushroom cloud in the sky alerting all people close but this was not enough, The meteor was unaffected it ripped through the mushroom cloud clearing up all the smoke from the explosion.
'Oh No, Approximately 33 seconds until Impact!' Genos panicked he was becoming very agitated which caused him to become skeptical about whether he can destroy the meteor. Bang and Joseph jumped onto the roof behind Genos. "Just Calm down, I can see you're unsettled. You're too young to worry about failure" Bang spoke reassuring Genos, which proved to work as Genos calmed down and got back to focusing on the main target.
"The Old Man is right, keep calm and try to focus. Saitama should be here any minute anyway." Joseph spoke but became curious 'Akeno can I sign in if Saitama isn't here? I'm still at the battle scene or do I have to wait for him?' Joseph asked Akeno [Yes Master, You can Sign-In] 'Ok Akeno Proceed'

Joseph was brought to his thoughts when Genos failed to Stop the meteor, but soon he could hear Saitama "Gramps, Look after Genos for me" Saitama uttered before bending down and launching himself into the sky. Saitama reeled back his fist and punched the meteor while shouting "You're Not Gonna Fall on my Town!".
"He Shattered it, Incredible," Bang exclaimed with eyes opened wide in shock. Joseph shouted "Get down!" he used a regular Ki attack to obliterate the rest of the meteor, leaving the City unscathed. He Grabbed Genos and teleported to Saitama "*Clap Clap Clap* You Destroyed the Meteor but nearly destroyed the city if it wasn't for me" Joseph spoke with a smug tone.

A/N: Sup Guys, Please understand I skipped some of the speech and also the part where Saitama gets Criticized for Stealing S-Class credit. Don't misunderstand, Tank Top Tiger and his brother will still confront Saitama but it won't end the same way.
