177 Chapter 175.

Suddenly, at that moment, cracks began to appear in the light shield conjured by the Star Furnace.

"You two, lend me some soul power!" Bai Baoshan's voice was low.

"We need to hold on until His Highness awakens, before we can retreat!"

Mengshen Ji and Zhi Lin nodded, moving to Bai Baoshan's rear and slowly channeling their soul power into him.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

The deafening noise continue to echo! With each strike of the Titan Giant Ape's, the trio grew paler. The ape, like a child, seemed excitedly oblivious to the ants scurrying beneath its feet.

Qian Renxue's eyes also shifted slightly. "If this persists, even Her Highness's awakening won't guarantee our escape..."

The trio grew more anxious as the time continues to pass by, their complexions worsening. Yet, Qian Renxue remained unconscious.

Boom!

The shield suddenly shattered, causing the trio to cough up blood as they all took back a step.

But just then...

A cold, fierce light erupted from the distance!

Sensing it, the Titan Giant Ape hesitated, taking a step back involuntarily.

Ding!

A long spear appeared before the trio, halting the Titan Giant Ape's advance.

The spear's body exuded a menacing blackish purple aura, enveloping the trio and even leaving them feeling dizzy from the impact. Then, a hoarse voice rang out:

"Little gorilla, let me play with you! Come with me."

Startled, the trio turned their gaze toward the source of the voice and spotted a mysterious figure clad in a black robe and a white mask. Adorning his back were two blood-colored wings, as he eerily hovered in the air. Even the Titan Giant Ape, clearly intrigued, directed its attention toward the enigmatic figure and approached.

With a flick of his hand, the blood-veined, fearsome spear, which had been radiating a fierce aura, instantly returned to the black-robed man's hand, easing the trio's tension.

"Thank you for your assistance, Senior! May I know your name?" Mengshen Ji shouted, his voice echoing loudly.

The mysterious black-robed man sported only a dark black soul ring, obscuring his level from view, though it was evident that he possessed considerable strength. The trio couldn't shake the lingering unease from the spear's ferocity.

However, the black-robed man remained silent. With a slight movement of his blood wing, he vanished instantly, leaving the trio to exhale a collective sigh of relief. The Titan Giant Ape, meanwhile, pounded its chest a few times, emitting a series of roars before trailing after the mysterious figure.

The three of them simply watched as the Titan Giant Ape followed the enigmatic figure cloaked in black. For a moment, they all felt a bit dazed and then they found themselves weak-kneed, cold sweat trickling down their backs.

"That was incredibly risky... incredibly risky..." murmured Mengshen Ji. "If it weren't for that mysterious elder, I fear we would all perish here within days. I should stop putting myself in risk all the time, I'm too old for that."

The Titan Giant's Ape's strength surpassed their wildest imaginations. As one of the overlord of the Star Dou Great Forest, he was a renowned figures in the soul master world, how could they not have heard of him? But witnessing his strength firsthand was truly terrifying and eye opening for all of them.

"I felt that the Titan Giant Ape wasn't attempting to kill us, or else..." Bai Baoshan coughed up a bit of blood, his voice a whisper. He had just utilized his Star Furnace for defense and he was the one most keenly aware of the power unleashed by the Titan Giant Ape, which seemed to be somewhat playfully hitting his conjured shield until the last strike.

"At least, we're saved," Zhi Lin said with a bitter smile. "But I wonder who that mysterious elder is? They didn't even leave a name... and recognizing him by just that spear would be very hard."

The aura of that spear was chilling. At a glance, it felt like their very souls trembled in its presence. Despite their serious injuries and fragile mental states, the fear persisted.

"I've never encountered a martial soul resembling a spear emitting such an intense aura," Mengshen Ji pondered, considering the formidable individuals in the world of soul masters, none of whom could match its caliber.

"Moreover, his soul rank was also indiscernible. Yet, he managed to capture the attention of the Titan Giant Ape, showcasing its immense power."

The trio deliberated for a while. Just then, Qian Renxue regained consciousness. "What's happened to you three?"

Qian Renxue inquired, furrowing her brow as she glanced at the three of them.

The trio laid limp on the ground, resembling they've been through a fierce battle, without any usual grace of a Soul Douluo level powerhouse.

Could it be that the Blood Demon Beetle has returned?

The three exchanged looks, shook their heads, and sighed as they explained to Qian Renxue what had occurred moments ago.

Upon hearing their account, Qian Renxue fell silent.

"The Titan Giant Ape?" Her tone remained composed.

"How did we encounter such a soul beast? Wait, did you mention being saved by a senior clad in black robes and a white mask?"

Mengshen Ji nodded. "Indeed, this senior was very formidable. His martial soul is a fierce black -colored spear with blood like veins in it. Clad in black robes with a white mask, his voice was also very hoarse. He also displayed immense strength, their spear came from afar, drawing the Titan Giant Ape's attention."

At this point, Bai Baoshan sighed softly. "If he hadn't arrived when he did, even if the Titan Giant Ape spared us, the outcome for the three of us and Your Highness would have been very dire to say the least."

Qian Renxue was taken aback. "Black robes, white mask, spear... could it be him?" she murmured, gazing towards the direction indicated by Bai Baoshan, where a distinct passage had been created by the Titan Giant Ape.

"Feng Yuxiu... you saved me again?" Qian Renxue whispered to herself. She wanted to follow him, to know what would happen next. Would the Titan Giant Ape spare him? Probably so, considering he possesses a soul ability capable of shielding once's aura even from a 60,000-year soul beast.

But how did he end up here? Could he have been following her?

Qian Renxue shook her head slightly, dismissing the idea. It seemed improbable. She didn't know him, and while he saved her once, there was no reason for him to save her again. Moreover, she was also disguised as a man now, so him getting infatuated with her beauty is also not the reason.

"That's quite a coincidence and maybe fate…" Qian Renxue mused, feeling an unknown tangle of emotions in her heart.

"Your Highness, do you wish to go and investigate?" Mengshen Ji observed Qian Renxue's expression and hastily advised, "Your Highness, this senior has bestowed us with great kindness, and we may have the chance to express our gratitude in the future. However, it's wiser to depart swiftly now. Our numbers are insufficient to confront the Titan Giant Ape, even Titled Douluo would struggle to prevail against him."

Qian Renxue nodded slightly. She wasn't foolish enough to venture forth. With just their small group, they stood little to no chance of escape, let alone victory.

"Feng Yuxiu... Feng Yuxiu, I'll remember you." Qian Renxue repeated the name silently, her heart filled with a strange sensation. The connection established seven years ago had led to today's encounter and two consecutive rescues.

"I hope you can safely come back from the Star Dou Great Forest... I believe our paths will cross again as fate must have it." Qian Renxue murmured, gazing deeply into the forest's depths, a mixture of concern and faint hope swirling within her.

"Little ape, you think you can catch me by chasing after me like this?" Wang Feng taunted from mid-air, clutching a God Killing Spear while his blood-red wings fluttered behind him, leaving faint traces of light in the air.

Despite the Titan Giants Ape's formidable speed on all fours, it struggled to keep pace with Wang Feng, who darted around like a pesky fly. The tiny human seemed oddly familiar with the sorest landscape, and his incessant evasion irritated the Titan Giant Ape immensely.

He let out a sharp roar!

Instantly, the surrounding air grew heavy for tens of tens of kilometers, as if gravity had multiplied by tenfold. Wang Feng staggered for a moment, feeling his body become several times heavier, causing his flight speed to plummet.

"A domain? What the heck?" Wang Feng muttered, deactivating Black Thorns Armor as his speed once again returned to normal. Witnessing this, the Titan Giant Ape widened its eyes and roared once more, unleashing a terrifying power that seemed to crush the very fabric of reality. The air crackled with explosive energy.

"Damn, whot kin' of gravitational domain is tis twat deployin?" Wang Feng suddenly started speaking british seeing the true display of Titan Giant Ape's power. Despite feeling his body grow heavier again, slowing his speed, he managed to remain airborne. However, within this domain, Wang Feng felt as though his bones and muscles were being compressed constantly.

"[Deification]!" Wang Feng exclaimed softly. The God Killing Spear vanished as he swiftly descended, and a Golden Lotus bloomed as he used his first soul ability. The tripling of all of his attribute blessing provided some relief to his burdened body.

The Titan Giant Ape observed Wang Feng closely.

"Bring it on!" Before touching the ground, Wang Feng once again summoned the God Killing Spear and unleashed his fourth soul ability, [Soul Devouring Blood Wings], causing his body attributes to soar yet again. With a flash of determination in his eyes, Wang Feng launched a direct attack on the Titan Giant Ape.

Observing Wang Feng's bold attack, the Titan Giant Ape showed no surprise, only a hint of anticipation. This little pest seemed to possess considerable power despite his tiny body.

Indeed, Wang Feng found himself within the gravitational innate domain of the Titan Giant Ape, his various attribute enhancements barely mitigating the weightiness as he struggled to return to a semblance of normality.

Roar!

The Titan Giant Ape swung a massive fist towards Wang Feng, its sheer size akin to a mountain compared to Wang Feng's short stature, which seemed more like a pebble in comparison.

The collision was impactful, sending Wang Feng flying backward upon impact as a resounding shockwave burst from their collision destroying everything in the hundreds of meters of their close vicinity. The Titan Giant Ape remained unmoved, the vast disparity in power evident. Moreover, within the gravitational field, Wang Feng's strength was greatly diminished, akin to punching through water, significantly reducing his attack effectiveness.

Bang!

Dozens of large trees in the distance also shattered in succession as Wang Feng was propelled through the air before finally coming to a halt.

"Damn... this is too overwhelming," Wang Feng remarked, surveying the trail of destruction left in his wake. "And I was hoping to take on Da Ming, who's been around for over 100,000 years."

Coughing a few times, Wang Feng realized he sustained no injuries, only feeling shaken from the impact.

A peculiar smirk played on Wang Feng's lips. "Nevertheless, my attacks can still inflict damage on you. That's the power of the God Killling Spear... No matter how resilient you are, a small wound will gradually escalate, tormenting you until you long for death. But that would not happen as you are close to Xiao Wu."

Roar!

Observing the fly that had eluded its grasp being struck by its own hand, the Titan Giant Ape gleefully pounded its chest like a stupid orangutan, exuding an air of childlike delight despite its formidable size.

The forest echoed with the hum of the impactful strike.
