Volume 5 Chapter 2

"Are you sure ? I paid for a c rank mission you know."

"Yes, sir. That's why I a jonin am here. I belive we will complete the task in time. So you shouldn't worry."

"You are what ? 14 ?" The client looked at me with sceptical eyes. I have dealt with such clients before. Civilian clients usually doubts shinobi due to their age and looks. You have to be polite and paitent with such clients.

"I am thirteen plus sir, but you don't have to worry about it. For us, strength is irrelevant to age. I am a jonin so you can rest assured."

"Fine ! She is my wife-" the man handed me over a photo."-I will leave for a business trip of five days tomorrow. I suspect her to be with another man and giving him my money, whenever I goes to trip like this. If what I suspect is true then... "The man trembled in anger."I want solid evidence against her if my suspicions is true."

I nodded "understood."

This type of c rank missions are not common like escort missions, delivery missions, search and find missions or bandit extermination mission. But I have done a mission like this before. Where a father was suspecting his son for gambling with his money without permission. But unable to catch him.

So I have some experience.

I led my team to an inn in the town. And after eating dinner, I called them for meeting.

"Hinata, how much distance, your byakugan can see ?"

"A-around t-two kilometres."

"That's great. The mission is simple. What are you going to do. The customer's house is at three kilometres from here . I want you to handle the mission on your own. Here's my camera to gather evidence."

"Alright !" Ino cheered.

The mission went smoothly. Sakura has the lowest reserve. So she chose to take the role of the evidence collector. Hinata told them the directions and surprisingly Ino casted a genjutsu to hide them.

The case was solved and the merchants wife got caught red handed having sex with a manwhore. Although it got different reactions from three kunoichi, the Miss was completed successfully.

Finally to return the leaf I used shambles to take us to the leaf.

"I need a death row inmate to take away Sasuke's corruption seal." I told Tsunade. I have explained her about the seal I have prepared.

"What about the curse seal ?"

"It can't be removed, atleast not now. I need more time for that."

"Where are you going to do it ?"

"Here, Or wherever you will be present. I think it will be better if you can give me a hand."

"Fine, I will call Kakashi to bring Sasuke... Tora !"

A masked Anbu landed infront of me, bowing to Hokage.

"Inform Kakashi and bring a death row inmate here."

"Hai ."

It has been a week since I returned from that mission. Finally I have found a method to remove the corruption seal from Sasuke. Surprisingly Hinata and me became friends after the mission. Naruto even offered her to come and train with us.

While I was preparing for the sealing in one of the rooms of Hokage tower, the Anbu came back with a gruff looking man. He had one arm missing.

After an hour of waiting, Kakashi arrived with Sasuke.

"Sorr-" before he could make any flimsy excuse, Tsunade glared at him. Using killing intent.

"This is serious, Hatake."

Kakashi gulped.

"Alright, Sasuke sit here...and Anbu -san bring him to the other circle." The ritual is simple. It will be similar to hidan's jutsu. But in this case the entirety of the damage done to Sasuke will transfer to the criminal.

"It's going to hurt a lot."

"Just get it over with."

I took a drop of Sasuke's blood and wiped it on one side of the ritual circle. Then did the same with the prisioner. With the ram seal, I activated the seal. Black lines grew on Sasuke's body while white line grew on the prisioner's body.

Quickly going towards Sasuke I dropped the prepared tag on his shoulder and started the sealing. As the connection between the corruption seal and the curse seal severed, Sasuke screamed in pain. Tsunade kept the damage from reaching the brain. Soon his screaming stopped and I activated the second part of the seal. The man didn't get the chance to scream as he fell dead. Sasuke's body turned normal without a single wound. But he collapsed from mental exhaustion.

"Kakashi ! Take him to the hospital. I will check him soon. Anbu, clean up the mess."

"I will go to the hospital now. You can inform his team mates.

Sizune ! Handle the office for a while." After ordering us around, she left.

"So how's been he doing ?" I asked Naruto.

We were seating on the Hokage mountain watching sunset. Due to the promotion, we get a little time to even talk with each other. And on top of that I has to look after my mall from time to time. So I barely getting any time to sleep let alone talk to Naruto like this. It has been a day since I removed the corruption seal from Sasuke.

"He has woken up. Granny told us that we will be able to go on mission soon. She even gave us a mission in advance....But he has been distance. He had saved a lot of people during the invasion. He has started to warm up to us. And Itachi ruined everything.*Sigh* He is not brooding. But it's close I guess"

"I see...."

"What do you want for dinner ?"

"Let's go to Ichiraku. I haven't ate there for a long time now."

"Fine by me ."

Unknown to them conflict was rising between Naruto and Sasuke.
