The third match was between Neji Hyuga and Kankuro. Technically it was a bad matchup for Kankuro. Neji had experience against puppet user. But Kankuro was not an easy opponent. The match lasted more than twenty minutes. Neji used his rotation to deflect Kankuro's attacks while trying to close the distance. Finally he used eight trigram 64 palms to knock out Neji.

Next match was between Hinata and Farui from Kumo. Hinata was strong. But hesitant. That's why the match lasted longer. But finally, she won.

Kiba went against Omoi, who wiped the floor with inuzuka. His sword skills and ninjutsu bested kiba easily.

Then Temari went against Shikimaru. This match was a brain game. But it ended when shikamaru forced Temari to give up. Resisting his shadow possession, Temari did a last ditch effort. Next match was between Lee and Gara. It was pretty much same as canon. But this time, Lee was fast enough to get away from Gara's sand before he crushed his legs. Then Gai sensei interviened and Gara won.

The tenth match was between ino and Karui. Karui wiped the floor with ino. She simply overwhelmed her with her speed. The match lasted less than a minute.

The last kumo nins Desu lost against Shino. He simply ate away his chakra with his bugs.

Choji got the free pass.

After Hokage's speech the finals were decided by drawing lots.

It was

Neji vs Naruto

Shikamaru vs Shino

Omoi vs Yakumo

Gara vs Sasuke

And

Karui vs Hinata vs Choji

After that,

Winner of match 1 vs 2 vs 3

And

Winner of match 4 vs 5

Then the final match will happen.
